2  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who takes over Manchester United ? on: June 12, 2023, 11:58:41 PM
My odds are that Sheikh would win the bid and take fully control of Manchester United.
Have you seen the news about the new ownership of Man United.

I think Man United had reasons to choose Ratcliffe over Sheikh, as the OP mentioned.
Quote
The Glazer family has reportedly made a decision regarding the new owner of Manchester United. After a long and winding wait since last November 2022, it is reported that the Glazer brothers have chosen Sir Jim Ratcliffe as the new owner of MU next season.

Indeed Sheikh had a good offer for Man United, but Ratcliffe also did not lose, they were both included in the best offer, UK Investors vs. QATAR there are many other reasons that Ratcliffe could consider as the new owner of Man United, believe it or not. Let's see. Ratcliffe won the new owner, not Sheikh.
Those are just rumours and speculations, nobody's won the bid yet, the whole United fans are stilling waiting on the glaziers to finalise the bid and name their preferred bid, well everyone have a right of choose but I'll rather preferred Sheikh to Sir Jim cause he has lots to offer to the club, moreover a good number of the fans want him as well.
i'm expecting to see another arab man in the premier league, they managed to get a lot of things in britain football, and most magazines are saying that the Qtari banker is most likely the one who's gonna get it, it won't be surprising to me.
3  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Easy or hard to quit? on: June 12, 2023, 11:54:57 PM
Can you quit gambling if you make a life changing money and never go back to gambling?

I asked this because those who made some money through gambling near me always go back to gamble and they end up losing everything they once made through gambling.

Is it fine to say that people should not go back into gambling once they made high amount of money? Because the chance of losing that money again is very high, even if they don't use all the money to gamble at once, gambling can take it all back in time.

Have you ever won a high amount of money from gambling and managed to not lose them all back to gambling? And to date, you are still gambling?
i managed to win a good enough amount and cashed it out, but i still lost other money from diferent places that is more than what i won that time, so i'm way in the negatives, and i still can't stop gambling, it's tough to stop for sure, i know friends who are struggling with that too, it is for sure not easy unless someone is  mentally strong as a rock, but unfortunately im dumb as a rock.
4  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: June 12, 2023, 11:51:16 PM
The Napoli team is far ahead of these two teams, Juventus and Roma. Napoli's performance seems to be the same type of performance that the Juventus team has performed in the past. The Napoli team looks to be stronger next season judging by their current performances. And each player's style of play showed confidence.
Napoli really want to repeat their success again in the next season, it's clear because they keep their good players and don't sell them to any team even though they are interested in a high price. However, other big Italian teams such as Roma, Juventus, Milan and Inter have had good preparations to compete with Napoli in the following season, it seems that competition in Serie A will be fierce again.
i'm pretty sure it will be, Juventus and Inter Milan are two tough teams that i could see in top 3 next season, everyone will eb expecting Napoli to be good, and it could affect them in a negative way, their fans would have a high bar and things could go other ways with pressure and such.
5  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: June 12, 2023, 11:47:39 PM
for now, barcelona is one of the clubs with the best squad in the world so if they intend to buy players again, it's just a waste.  What Xavi has to do right now is focus on making the current squad work very effectively.  they must be able to at least win a domestic trophy in the following season and the UCL is one of the trophies that Barcelona must target.

Barcelona has been very good in the league so far, they have done a very good job in the league this season, from a performance point of view we think this is good enough, and of course they have to focus on forming a squad that is much more in advance, wanting to win the UCL can be said to be a target of all clubs, if they can show a better performance to win the UCL they must be prepared and arrange as well, considering that the rivals they will face are very tough and consistent in controlling their club's performance.

Barcelona's goal now is to win La Liga this year, as they won La Liga last year. Another target will be UCL, but we should not expect much hope from Barcelona in the Champions League. Who will they transfer during this transfer window? My guess is that they can close the transfer season with a few transfers.
if what they said about having financial troubles was true, we won't see a lot of tranfers coming in, at least no expensive ones, the Champions league seems far from them, and i'm pretty sure a lot of people would not think about betting on Barca to win it, La Liga will still be competitive though.

Breaking news, MbappŤ will probably leave PSG this summer.  Shocked

Real Madrid opened the hunting.
Man Utd is another option for Mbappe, i know when we talk about Kylian moving the first thing that comes to mind is Real Madrid, but don't forget The Qatari banker who bought Man Utd and we might see some changes in the squad with the new wallet, Mbappe could be a very good option for them and he will play for a team that his idol Cristiano played in.
7  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2022/23 Season on: June 12, 2023, 11:42:17 PM
Sevilla have the same dominance Real Madrid have in the Champions League here. Sevilla are called as the king of the Europa League as you know and the thing I wonder the most is whether any other team will be able to change this. It is really not easy to beat Sevilla about the number of titles achieved right now. While Sevilla have 7 titles the closest opponents have 3.

And those opponents are Liverpool, Juventus, Inter and Atletico Madrid. All of them are normally teams seen in the Champions League mostly. But next season we will be watching Liverpool in the Europa League. This can be quite interesting. Sevilla are going to be in the Champions League maybe but they might drop down here again who knows.

It would be really lovely to watch a finale between Sevilla and Liverpool.  Grin  I think Liverpool would be one step ahead in that case.
the weird thing about Sevilla which is different than Real Madrid is that Sevilla were playing terribly in their league and they managed to win the Europa League, in the other hand Real Madrid were still quite good in La Liga and they won the CL, so it wasn't as surprising as Sevilla, seems like spanish teams have some extra power on european leagues.
8  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: June 12, 2023, 11:38:58 PM

The Bayern Munich team has been really lucky this season. Because this team did not perform very well in the last stage of the league, on the other hand, if Dortmund had not drawn with two goals in the last match, Bayern Munich could not have secured the title.
It is a thing that has passed and can only be remembered as history by Dortmund. And because Dortmund have almost managed to get another trophy in the Bundesliga, that means that Dortmund still have to try to do better next season by winning more every game since the start of the season so that Dortmund can more easily secure themselves to become champions again in the Bundesliga. Because competition in the Bundesliga is fierce again and next season is unlikely to be much different from this season.
This season Dortmund has performed quite well even though they haven't really been able to have the expected first position but at least there has been some progress compared to last season.
If they can improve a number of players who feel they are not too influential then next season they will get first place in the Bundesliga.
Bayern Munich will be the team that will hinder Dortmund from reaching the top of the standings next season.

The Dortmund performance was not good at all because they lost the chance they had to win the title in this league, Dortmund could easily use the chance they had when Bayern Munichwas not in good from but in the end Bayern Munich won the Bundesliga title for another time.

Dortmund were not that good, i agree with that, they were that close to Bayern Munich only because Bayern's bad performance in that season, they lost many points in consecutive matches, and even with that and Dortmund failed to win the league, they need to improve a lot to make that happen, or take advantage of Bayern weakness if it happens again in another season.
9  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: June 11, 2023, 11:59:47 PM
Still a sensation that a team has now been added in which you can enter the stadium through the backyard of the neighbor now. That's going to be something. They should actually also get a small commission per person with every person who goes in. Liverpool will have to be able to get involved in the battle for the championship again. It has never really been exciting, even though Arsenal were at the top for a long time with a considerable number of points ahead. City were way too good for everyone in all competitions.
Manchester City have been exceptionally good in this season haven't been able to target winning all the leagues in this season is a record that the club have created that is going to last for a very long time before any club can beat that record set by Manchester City in this season 2022-2023 this is one of the most remarkable season in football history where a club will win bit the premiere league and also the champion leagues.
Liverpool or Arsenal could not meet up with the frequency of Manchester City to be able to stop them from making this history and I don't think anything can change much in the next season.

My Current Prediction for who to win the Premier League for next season is Liverpool
They had some challenges bit that didn't stop them from scoring goals
Improvement in midfied and defense can give them that Salah should just be fit
it's tough to correctly predict who gonna win from now without even seeing the changes that could happen in different teams throughout this summer, but it is just a prediction, i would make my own prediction and say Man utd, saying Man City is boring and the odds of that would be low, so yeah, Manchester united, they had a good comeback last season to finish in top 3, which is impressive because a lot of people were talking about how bad they were but they managed to get back up, and they still have a very decent squad, Rashford had the biggest improvement last season, he could help them bring the title back to Old Trafford.
10  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: June 11, 2023, 11:54:56 PM

I was very much disappointed with Lukaku... I think his career is over... He was terrible at Chelsea, he didn't perform well at the last World Cup either... In yesterday's very important match, he missed several chances... I am sure if Dzeko had had the strength to play the match to the end, he would not have missed an opportunity to score... It's a shame that Inter started to create such good moments only after conceding a goal...
Lukaku was not at his best form against Manchester City last night, coming in to replace Eden Dzeko I expected him to make much impact but he managed just two or less shots on goal and also block an attempt headed down towards goal. Inter Milan played really well, I feel if Lukaku had made an impact they would gave gotten a goal at least.
Lukaku got the reaction time of a sloth, it was a very big time for him coming on the pitch from the bench to play a final, what a chance to prove yourself, but he did nothing except blocking a goal and shooting far off target.
11  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Saudi Professional League 2022/2023 on: June 11, 2023, 11:51:46 PM
In one factor, Benzema's belief was the thing that made him interested in playing in the Saudi Arabian league. Apart from that, in terms of age and salary, the offer is a second choice for him to play in an easier league due to the aging factor.  Also another thing is the existence of the figure of Ronaldo, who is likely for him to be one of the challenges to accept this offer.

Al ittihad are the reigning champions this season and they seem to be continuing to make changes in the squad to increase their strength for next season. With the arrival of kante and Benzema I think they are relatively strong next season even Al nassr will most likely find it difficult to stop Al ittihad in the next season. There are still a lot of players who are likely to join the SPL this season.

It's a very good move for Benzema to join Al Ittihad. Benzema as a player has achieve almost everything in football, especially towards the end of his career. He is a legend for a club as big as Madrid. He's also the player that has won the most trophies with Madrid. That's a pretty big achievement. So taking an offer that gives him a lot of money in a country he would be comfortable in is a wise move. There's also the fact that Al Ittihad has a very good project. They are recruiting the right players and they will still try to get more God players.
It's going to be interesting to see the rivary between Ronaldo and Benzema.
Benzema is joining the league with him being on top level, unlike Ronaldo who was kind of struggling with man utd, Benzema on the other hand was popping off with Real Madrid and we havn't seen a big degrade in his performance, i wonder if he can play the same with different teammates, it will be interesting to say the least.

https://twitter.com/SLBenfica/status/1667571455674990593

Benfica have transferred Orkun KŲkÁŁ. Orkun was the maestro of Feyenoord midfield. He played as number 10 and number 6 in Feyenoord. Benfica made a very important transfer. I actually thought that Orkun could be transferred to Liverpool because he is the kind of midfielder Liverpool needs. If he is successful in Benfica, he will definitely be on the radar of big teams. Meanwhile, Benfica paid Feyenord 25 million euros + 5 million euros transfer fee for Orkun and added a 150 million euro release clause to Orkun's contract.
Benfica have this thing were they keep sniping deals of youngsters with good potential to later on sell to another big club for some big profits, they don't keep a lot of good players in their team, and their squad keep changing, they seem more focused on finances than football success.
13  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: June 11, 2023, 11:35:26 PM
I guess Xavi is the happiest person in La Liga because he got what he wanted to get with his team where they know him as a legend and he is coaching Barcelona for the first time his coach in Europa and top teams, Barcelona is in a financial situation in which they can't spend money like Real Madrid and this definitely could affect the results of Barcelona but in the end, Barcelona won the title.

But in the next season, I think Real Madrid can buy better players to have a closer race with Barcelona for the title.
i don't think Barcelona are still in a bad financial state, they were still able to bring multiple players and not for that cheap, it doesn't look like they are having troubles financially at all.
14  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: June 11, 2023, 11:30:25 PM
It would be great if Napoli could show football again what they showed in the first 75% of the competition. but they depend on the players, and if they can keep this team together? I think that will be quite a challenge. Napoli's performance and game image has of course not gone unnoticed in the rest of Europe. I don't see either of them going to another team in Italy, I think you have to think of countries like England where the big money is waiting. Juventus will want revenge for the past 3 mediocre seasons without a single title.

Napoli was a size too big, they turned the entire Italian competition into pasta instead of minced meat. But you already saw that coming, in the last phase of the previous season they were also very good and they have themselves to blame for the fact that the title went to another team. It is unique that they have had so many points ahead. Perhaps they were the most stable of all European teams, but the English competition is of course also very tough. But compared to PSG they were just much better. I don't know if they can maintain this high level in the coming season.
Napoli won Serie A comfortably this past season, but i'm pretty sure next season other teams would be prepared for them, and we might see Juventus getting better and hopefully they won't get points deducted from their ranking, it would be different next season even if Napoli would start as strong, they will have competitors ready.
15  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: June 10, 2023, 11:58:34 PM
Neymar seems to leave the PSG team. Because Neymar could not make any record in PSG team. However, if Neymar leaves the team and joins another team, I think he will be able to increase his career tremendously.
It is still not certain for Neymar to be able to improve his career in another team if he really leaves PSG, because apart from being very dependent on the new team environment, Neymar must also be able to create good cooperation with the players in his new team. So I'm still not sure that Neymar can make his career improve and recently Neymar has also been injured frequently so that will certainly greatly hinder him from improving his career and will also hamper him in strengthening the squad within his team.
One of the main problems experienced by Neymar is injury, so that Neymar cannot play optimally throughout the season. Therefore, Neymar doesn't look good or fit to play at PSG when in fact, for me personally Neymar can still play very well and promise good results. That way, there is no problem about an adaptation because Neymar is a star which of course, it will be easy for him to adapt to his new team.

There is no doubt that Neymar is an excellent player. His dribbling skills impress everyone. But his main problem is his fitness. He missed half of the season due to injury. If Neymar's fitness was right, then Neymar would be on the list of the best players in history. If Neymar can maintain his fitness then he can easily adapt himself to any team and play well. Neymar has this ability.
Neymar made an incredible start of last season, with both goals and assists, not just dribbling skills, his numbers spoke loud, injuries are his biggest enemy, he still has time to perform at a high level, only if he doesn't get injured again for a long time.
16  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Saudi Professional League 2022/2023 on: June 10, 2023, 11:55:19 PM
I see now that Moutinho from Wolves could be the next to join the Saudi League. Itís a real shame Messi didnít go there but that just proves that money canít buy everything. Itís a really different life out there but it doesnít seem to be stopping multiple older stars from swapping Europe for Saudi Arabia. Will be really interesting to see how the league develops over the next few years.
I think they will keep chasing Messi because at the end thats the legend they would be needing
Messi won't take long and retire, i'm pretty sure of that, he would either retire in Miami or maybe go back to either Barcelona or even Newell's Old Boys and reitre there, but there are still other players that they can bring to lift the league even more and make it more interesting to foreigners like Di Maria, Modric...etc
17  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Confident Are You In The Reliability of the KYC system on: June 10, 2023, 11:51:50 PM
KYC or
Quote
Know Your Client (KYC) is a standard in the investment industry that ensures advisors can verify a client's identity and know their client's investment knowledge and financial profile.

Reference: https://www.investopedia.com/terms/k/knowyourclient.asp

is part of what we agreed when we sign up to play in casinos but lately I've been reading a lot of complaints
about casinos on how they accept their players' KYC, is it possible that they can decline a person's credentials even though he swore that he submit all the right documents and even undergo a video call to establish his identity?

Take note, Casinos will ask or demand a KYC if there's a big winning involved, is this one of their ways to scam their players?

(don't want to make reference to any casino because other casinos could implement this).

Both parties the player and the casino can agree to do a mediation through third-party/parties. but do you think it has bad consequences if the third party proves the player is right in establishing his identity, then the casino's KYC is not reliable?

If the third-party proved that the casino is right but the player swore that he submit all the documents and is willing to do the extra mile to establish his identity, can we conclude that Casino's KYC procedure is different and we have the right to know how and what system they are using to decline our submission because we can be the next to suffer from this Casinos' KYC system?
in my opinion, things should be forward and more precise, like KYC is not required for this amount ex $9999, more than that a user has to provide his documents and a selfie and write a text on a paper or even a video call, and to avoid not accepting some documents they should list the accpeted documents for different countries with examples of which and how they look, but a lot of casinos make it so vague that people would doubt themselves if they don't accept the documents they provided, i don't trust them at all, sometimes when i make a bet that could get me a huge profit i doubt that i can get my money because of so many cases of users claiming to be discriminated aginst because they won big, online casinos are very sketchy to me.
18  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: June 10, 2023, 11:43:23 PM
Lewandowski plays one of the special roles in the Barcelona team. He joined the Barcelona team and helped the team achieve great things in an impossible way. Next season this player will help the Barcelona team tremendously to do something great in the Champions League.
In the last two seasons, Barcelona has always failed in the Champions League including last season and I also don't see more great things done by Lewandowski even though Barcelona managed to get the La Liga trophy this season because their eternal rival is not so consistent in La Liga this past season, so the things that Lewandowski did to Barcelona in this past season were normal and natural, not an impossible thing for him. And next season it looks like it will be much more difficult for Lewandowski to get much better achievements than this season.

Barcelona's team is playing very well this season. But after Messi left the team and Koeman coached the team, Barcelona's performance was completely unstable. Barcelona was a team that was almost overwhelmed. Barcelona also had to face a lot of problems to win against weaker teams. After Xavi became the coach of the team, the overall position of Barcelona started to improve. And this season Barcelona was aiming for the La Liga title. And they managed to win it. Next season maybe Barcelona will play better in La Liga as well as the Champions League.
The transition of moving players or coaches is very natural for a club and what Barcelona is experiencing is one of the processes to be better in the future. Had fallen many times, but since Xavi's era as Barcelona coach began, we can see the turning point for this Catalan club by winning La Liga this season and they deserved it. About the champions league I think there will still be some stages they go through and the importance of consistency for a team is to be able to achieve that target and that's what a team really needs.
so far, we can see Barcelona competing and even winning La Liga again next year, but the talk about the Champions League is still far in my opinion, they have a long way to go to be able to compete with teams like Bayern Munich, PSG, Man City..etc Lewandovski is not the best they can get as a forward, he doesn't seem to fit that well with their style, he is kinda on and off in their matches, they need more to win something big like the Champions League.
19  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: June 10, 2023, 11:39:28 PM
As has been discussed in many predictions, Manchester City is a team that is actually a reasonable favorite to win the Champions League title. Their performances are good but sometimes they are too bad on defense. Akanji made several mistakes during the match which Manchester City almost conceded, but luckily Ederson was very quick to save the net.

In the end congratulations to Manchester City and all its supporters. Your first Champions League title is secured, and at the same time it will be a perfect season because you won the treble winners. Wow, that's so amazing.

While watching the match, it was safe to say that all the pre-match betting was all unimportant because there was a real battle on the pitch, especially the ending. The last 10 minutes were incredible, Ederson saving his team from at least extra time and essentially bringing them victory
I was indeed really a keenly contested and very competitive match, some pre-match predicted an easy win for Man City with a wide goal margin, however all those analysis failed though Man City won the match but it's a narrow win and with luck on their side because Ederson Man City goalkeeper made two crucial saves to denied Inter Milan an equilizer while one of the goal bound header hit Man City woodwork and statistically Inter Milan had more shots on target than Man City that shows how difficult it is to predict a final match, I commend Inter Milan for putting up a good fight and congratulations to Man City for completing a treble kudos to Guordiola for achieving his target.
Inter put up a good fight against the odds, Man City were the favorites in this match with a decent margin, but they only won with a difference of one goal and Inter Milan had chances to equalize in this match, they were playing a final so it was expected for me to see a good fight, a deserved win for Man City to say the least, Champions League was their biggest goal for a while, and time came for them to shine.
20  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: June 08, 2023, 06:22:53 PM
I already said this before, but i really think that the chances of Borussia Dortmund to become Bundesliga champions this year were extremely high and i don't think that they will get such a big chance again in the next 5 years or so. As you already said, Bayern Munich is by far the strongest team of the Bundesliga and if they are able to at  least reach like 85% of their maximum performance level, then they will win the Bundesliga no matter what the other clubs are doing. This year this was not the case and still Dortmund was not able to profit from that. Now Bayern should be alarmed again and take the next season more serious.
Why do you think that Dortmund has not that chance again to win the German League Title next year.
They getting better and better and every year they getting closer to Bayern Munich, and with Leipzig and Union Berlin there are now 2 more Teams for fight the Title.
Bayern Munich caused the problem themselves with kicking there coach out in an important time they have got a lot of important games.
We could see a totally different ranking next year, you never know, I don't really think Union Berling will be as strong as they were this season, we all saw their performance drop in the last matches of the league, I would count them out of the race of Bundesliga from now, they probably going to end up out of the top 4.
