Well, required coins for masternode is 6-7 btc and roi after two years, it's very long time to get back your investment in my opinion.
No: ROI is instant because you still own your coins (the principle investment). If you're saying it will take 2 years to double your amount of PIVX and that's too long for you, then whatever isn't too long for you is an inflationary nightmare and, further, will constantly be generating more and more sell pressure making the price extremely difficult to appreciate. Otherwise you're instantly generating new PIVX while your masternode coins and the new coins you're minting appreciate in value further.

ALSO: Tonight (Facebook Live), myself and Presstab (one of the core DEVS for PIVX) will be live with Todd Blackburn being interviewed. Todd is the co-founder of one of the largest crypto FB groups (about 70k members) 6pm EST 1/1/2018 https://www.facebook.com/groups/218612071968287That was an awesome interview, cheers guys! I dont care if this sounds stupid but i just LOVE the pivx team. And thanks Bryan for the heads up on binance, cool! Could you please share what was mentioned about Binance exchange? In his previous post Snappy said that there is a "good reason" why the team didn't apply for the latest "community coin of the month" round on Binance. Nothing official, obviously, but we can all make our own assumptions. This is the first I'm hearing of this and I have some assets on Binance. Could you please tell me what might be wrong. You can write me privately if you don't want to expose publicly. Nothing wrong with Binance. The assumption is that Binance integration may already be underway.

Good resources, Was, thanks, but these lists are almost too comprehensive--I'm not sure how many fit active githubs and strong dev teams. Hoping for more community input. Bookmarked and sorting either way, thanks again.

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Masternode Coins
|

Masternode coins seem to drastically outperform their counterparts because it incentivizes HODLing, effectively locks up large amounts of coin supply, and gives node runners special permissions (ie: Voting).
I'd like to make and track a list of masternode coins for the community (and certainly MY) use. Dash and PIVX are certainly the most prominent that come to mind. I know that PoSW is about to introduce masternodes and masternodes pools in Q1. NEM something similar with "supernodes".
What other masternode coins are out there with LEGITIMATE developers and active githubs?

I hope bittrex will not take long to wait. But the price will drop to 2-4 cents, when open deposits on the shitty hitbtc. 1 dollar is a dream.
Hate to agree with you but i agree with you. Hitbtc wallet has been in maintenance forever. The volume trading is minuscule. There's certainly a lack of liqudity with deposits disabled, but nearly $2M a day is far from "minuscule" volume. It's basically the same volume trading hands back and forth. No additional Dim coin can get in. It's all bullshit. Then sell me your Dim coin cheap OTC. I have over 3 million of them and I still want more.

hi everyone, i've heard that the release of catapult will be before the end of the year!! In a few days!!
Is this possibile? Since yesterday i believed that there is no date yet for catapult's release!
My understanding is Catapult may already be being tested with a few institutions that are using mijin. It won't be opened up for general use until sometime in 2018, depending on the mijin results. You are correct. Catapult (Mijin 2.0) is being used and tested by some substantial enterprises

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What is best PoS coin to invest into right now?
|

Check out CRAVE and PIVX and other masternode coins on https://masternodes.pro/, they have a decent return and more stability because of the locked up capital. Awesome. Honestly, PIVX is one of the best masternode coins out there in the market. It combines the goodness of Dash, plus the convenience of PoS, making it highly efficient in energy consumption. Given its supportive community, and constant development, it may be the best investment you could make nowadays. Things aside, there are other masternode coins worth checking which are extremely inexpensive like Amsterdamcoin. Once they rise in price, it will become more difficult to get a masternode as the required collateral will become expensive. Nevertheless, there is a wide selection of PoS coins available in the market to choose from. Considering that PoS takes minimal effort to setup and reduces energy costs, it may be the most ideal way to profit for the long term. Just my opinion You're 100% right and you didn't even mention that it's the ONLY PoS with zerocoin protocol implementation making it arguably the most effective privacy coin out there. PIVX continues to be the top Proof of Stake coin out there. Honorable mention to PoSW... they're about a month away from implementing Masternodes, lightning compatibility, masternode pools, and much more. Lots of room for growth there. My top 3 PoS: 1. PIVX 2. PoSW 3. DCR (this should remain an accurate list until Ethereum's Casper update to PoS)

I’ll likely be making a vid on DCORP soon qayserian, so this convo seems relevant to my interests
I’ve interviewed eth founders, done shows on quite a few cryptos that pumped them solidly when I’ve recommended them (nem, vertcoin, litecoin back in April, etc, made pieces with pivx—most interesting coin in the world piece is me, etc) and made a lot of viewers a lot of money
What’s up?
