81  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Token goes down. Wait or sell? on: August 08, 2018, 02:02:03 PM
Hello everyone!

We all know that the situation with market is not that good as we want it to be. Thus it affects a lot of ICO projects. On the one hand people don't invest in coin so much money as they did last year. On the other bounty hunters sell tokens fast and the price goes very low. That is why some projects prefer list their token on Idex first. They want to see how a coin plays on market.

And what investors should do in such situation? Sell all they have for small money or wait until a token will go up?

I'm asking as a person working in such project. After ICO token price went down (KCY, I'm sure you heard of it). And It is interesting to know investor's opinion about such situation.

What is your idea?

Here is the logic. If you try to sell the coin that is on the lowest price, that coin might decrease it's price again because there's alot of supply but low on demand. Try to hold or wait if the coin that you're holding is on its lowest moment.
82  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Tactics When Market is Falling on: August 08, 2018, 01:55:45 PM
Hi all,
I am a relative newbie but have remained pretty calm during the difficult last week or so. The markets are falling significantly again, is this still relatively normal and is the best advice just to HODL? Moving forward I think I will set stop losses on all holdings to protect my capital against falls like this.
Thanks
The first rule that you need to follow is that, you need to hold the coin that you have if the value is too low or you're not satisfied to it. Try to hold it until the price increased. Remember that patience is the key.
83  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are you selling your altcoins so soon? on: August 08, 2018, 01:46:22 PM
I here and see that a lot of people are selling their altcoins for this reason or for that reason. In some cases I here that people are even spending their altcoins to buy Bitcoin. Now that one really has me confused. To me it's way to early to be selling your altcoins. It's like selling an original painting before it even gains in value or while it is still gaining in value. What smart investor does that unless they are selling out of fear or because they are desperate. For me I am holding all of my coins for now because it is way to early to even think about selling your altcoins; what say you?

So tell me, why are you selling your altscoins so soon?
I think the reason why they sell their altcoin after they get it is because of their financial needs in real life. People might really need that money that's why they do not have any choices than to sell that coin.

Do you believe Crypto Currency is changing the world?

Why do think so?
What changes crypto made?
It is really hard to predict at the moment. That change that you're talking about will not happen in just a snap. It will takes years and time for the crypto to change the world. Also, we are not sure about it. Let's work out on the present things first.
85  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Your Money Safer In Crypto than at the Bank? on: August 08, 2018, 01:27:00 PM
Still, it is safer to put your money in the bank because of the high security of it. Remember that the crypto is in the internet and the internet is prone to many hackers.
86  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty Hunters Dump Always? on: August 08, 2018, 01:12:55 PM
Do all bounty hunters dump Cryptos after they get paid?

I believe this is not a fair assessment as a lot has to do with the crypto project itself.

Its a matter of perspective really, not all bounty hunters have the same experience or motive, some people just need an opportunity to get crypto for projects that are very difficult to get in the token sales, Example is Ncash tokens of Nucleus.Vision the project has a 1 million USD budget and it is still above ICO price even in the bear market.

Additionally some projects treat bought hunters badly which will not encourage them to stick around for much longer after they get their tokens.

I believe tokens or coins getting dumped by bounty hunters depends a lot on the project itself.
Not all the bounty hunters dump their coins after they get it in the bounty campaign. Some of them just hold it because the price might increase and they will have a big profit.
87  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should continue join ico? on: August 08, 2018, 01:07:17 PM
There is an ico from the Krypital team: Merculet. The project of this team was quite successful before: Cybermiles, Arcblock. Do you think this is a good ico? Should continue to join ico in the moment?

Actually, joining ICO is really up to you. I would suggest that before joining ICO you should check always their whitelist and the previous project of their developers if it is successful or not. In that way, high chance that the ICO that you chose will become successful.
88  Economy / Economics / Re: Why the price of bitcoin rapidly going down on: August 01, 2018, 03:51:19 PM
The news in term of development are actually decent, with LN getting closer to a release, so I think this is just temporary. Smiley
Actually, the price of bitcoin is going down because people starts to sell their bitcoin and there are countries had banned bitcoin that is why bitcoin is losing some of its investors. Hoping that bitcoin could get its price back again like last year.
89  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Criteria of a good gambler on: August 01, 2018, 01:16:34 PM
A lot of people wonder what is the criteria of a good gambler, here are some of my thought about good gambler

a good gambler never chase profit
Profit might be the first reason why people gamble, but a good gambler never attached to the profit, the most important thing in gambling is excitement and fun experience, having profit is just the bonus

a good gambler able to control himself / herself
Self controlling is very important in gambling, without a clear mind there will be a lot of mistakes in betting and even causing reckless betting and losing all of the money in split second

a good gambler know when to stop
Setting a limit is very important in gambling, setting a lost limit will prevent you to over spend your money and setting a win limit is  also important because in the long run the house got a bigger chance to win due to the house edge

a good gambler never cause any problem to the surrounding
A good gambler know that the chances of losing money in gambling is huge, so a gambler should never used daily needs money or borrowing money to gamble, and a gambler should never think of robbery or stealing to gamble

a good gambler can accept lost
When losing a good gambler won't blame the surrounding, cursing or accusing the  casino as fraud places, losing is the half part of gambling, if you can't accept lost then dont start to gamble

a good gambler should able to manage the time
A good gambler know how to split the time for family, for friends and for gambling, a good gambler never neglected family or friend just because of gambling

We must encourage people to become a good gambler, so people won't always have a bad judgement about gambler
Having a criteria of a good gambler will be good for the eyes of other people who do not gamble because they will never judge you or say bad things to you if you oftenly do this good criterias of a good gambler. I tthink if every gambling has it, no one will judge a gambler.
90  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is better in poker: bluffing or playing only with good cards? on: August 01, 2018, 12:55:02 PM
I've been watching some poker tournaments with Antonius, Negreanu and Cates lately. Most of the time the person with better combination actually wins, but there occur some great bluffs from time to time as well. Do you think it is better to fold if you don't have at least one high card in a pair or two cards of the same suit? Is it worth to try out overbetting tricks when you really have shitty cards? When I tried playing poker, overbetting usually made me fold, because it is a hard psychological attack for me and I am not the kind of a person that is willing to risk a lot. But I am bad at poker. What is your opinion on this matter?
In my own point of view, i think its much better if you bluff your opponents in playing poker rather than having a good cards because you do not need any good cards if you can easily bluff your opponents, so they could fold their cards.
91  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can any other crypto replace bitcoin? on: August 01, 2018, 09:23:30 AM
There are many cryptocurrencies out there, the fluctuation is wide and big. There’s a need of a coin that uses a process to stabilize its value.

No doubt that there is no other cryptocurrency or altcoin that can supersede the bitcoin. At least not for the next 5-10 years. Of course there are many rising competitors like Ethereum, ripple and litecoin.

Do you agree???
Bitcoin cannot be replace by other cryptocurrencies because it is the leading cryptocurrency and it is the first cryptocurrency that was created by Satoshi Nakamoto. I think only ethereum can can have a huge value like bitcoin in the near future that is why more investors are buying ethereum.
92  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you still believe in bounties and Cryptocurrency? on: July 31, 2018, 04:44:27 PM
There's alot of people move out from Cryptocurrency some are for their loses and without experience, some are doing for in bounty campaigns but still not get result so I want to know behalf of that reason I have mention is correct. What do you think?
Many people do really leave and stop in bounties because of scams and unsuccessful ICO. But i still believe in bounties and cryptocurrencies because here where i start earning good profit from ny investments, so i should not quit pr leave cryptocurrency just like that. I still believe that all of my holding will increase its value especially bitcoin just like last year.
93  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency is a trending topic all over the world? on: July 31, 2018, 04:29:33 PM
Everywhere you can find cryptocurrency topic especially ICO projects are doing well on the marketing through social media like facebook, twitter, reddit, linked, youtube and etc. Celebrities, influential individuals and high ranking government officials are talking about cryptocurrency and that is why i think cryptocurrency is a trending topic all over the world. Do you agree with me? Even haters help cryptocurrency to be known all over the world so let just leave the haters then.
Its true that bitcoin is getting more popular because people advertised bitcoin in social media's lile twitter, facebook, instagram, youtube and etc. Even celebrities and rich people gets interest about investing their money in bitcoin. So i there is a chance that bitcoin could be unbanned and legazied by the government all over the world.
94  Economy / Economics / Re: When will smartphones used for bitcoin mining? on: July 31, 2018, 02:22:47 PM
As we all know that smartphones are just like computer nowadays that has strong storage capacity and processor. This I think could be enable to mine bitcoin and this is what I am waiting for if there are any smartphones company that would offer their smartphones for bitcoin mining or even as a smartphone that works as digital hardware wallet for bitcoin and other crypto. I am waiting for it to happen. Do you think that it will happen?
I think smartphones cannot be ysed in mining because there are still other things that smartphones do not have lile computers like having good performance and good specs that are capable in a lot of things especially in mining.
95  Economy / Economics / Re: How did Crypto help you out? on: July 31, 2018, 02:12:40 PM
This question is especially for those who have been into crypto for a long time. How did cryptocurrency help you, most specifically financially? Did you earn more? Gain more investment? I do have a friend who wants to get into crypto but he does not have a lot of savings in his bank account or any major investment. I told him to save more before getting into crypto because they still have mortgage and car loan to pay. Do you think crypto will help him out to?
Crypto help me to gain my income, so i could pay all of my expenses and provide the needs of my family, that is why it is a good things that i have my investment in cryptocurrency. My advice to your try to learn more about crypto and try to invest some of his money in crypto, so he could gain his money little by little until he gets rich with it.
96  Economy / Economics / Re: Will the bitcoin be outdated by another currency? on: July 31, 2018, 02:02:29 PM
My answer to the principle is: NO

Bitcoin is money, the value of money is built on confidence, tradition and security, attributes that Bitcoin offers easily. The analogy between Bitcoin and social networks is completely incorrect, people think that Bitcoin is an myspace that will be replaced by facebook. It turns out that Bitcoin is money and not a social network, so this comparison is completely wrong.

Most of mankind's wealth resides in vaults for hundreds of years, so the circulating medium is derisory close to it. Why are we going to need fast, no-fee coins if we can use paper money and banks? Bitcoin's purpose is to be a safe asset, scarce and superior to gold. What is behind Bitcoin is the fact that no politician can steal you through taxes or inflation, there is nothing safer than Blockchain and Bitcoin. So far no technologically superior currency has emerged to Bitcoin to the point of provoking an abyss between technologies and will hardly emerge.

BUY BITCOIN TODAY AND ALWAYS.
I believe that bitcoin cannot be oitdated by other cryptocurrency because it is the strongest cryptocurrency that has a highest value in the market and it is the first cryptocurrency that was created. There are no any possible reasons that bitcoin will be dedeated by other cryptocurrency.
97  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin and Disable person on: July 31, 2018, 01:58:35 PM
This is a common thing happens in different countries where the government mandatory give assistance to there citizens with disability, and the sad truth is that the assistance from government is not enough.

This is the perfect time to introduce bitcoin to persons with disability by doing this they don't need to rely only on government assistance, because they are now started to earn there own money to support their needs.
In my own point of view, people who has disabilities can earn money without the help of their own government by the help of bitcoin. They can earn with it by investing, trading, and joining signature campaigns. They should also need to have devices for them to access in bitcoin like computer, smartphone and internet connection.
98  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin can be useful for a troubled economy on: July 25, 2018, 07:36:36 PM
Goldman Sachs: Bitcoin can be useful for a troubled economy

According to the report of Goldman Sachs, Bitcoin and other crypto-currencies can be a good alternative to the national currency for countries with an unstable economy.

Analysts at Goldman Sachs Zack Pandle and Charles Himmelberg said that digital currencies and, in particular, Bitcoin, can become a viable means of payment in countries where traditional money is not sufficiently provided.

Goldman Sachs experts: crypto-currencies can help the troubled economy

I agree that bitcoin can be helpful and useful for troubled economy because it decreases unemployed people in a country that gives them a good source of income and it can be a good alternative currency. But there are still countries who don't believe in bitcoin and cryptocurrencies.
99  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are you still afraid of? on: July 25, 2018, 07:32:57 PM
Some people have been afraid of crypto for quite some time now. I feel majority ought to have overcome this fear.
- People still panic and loose their profits.
- Some panic and loose participating in good projects.
- Some panic is loose their holding.
- Some panic and miss the opportunities in crypto.
If fear does not do any good, why do we then still fear?
In my own point of view, people are really afraid to take risk in cryptocurrencies because they are afraid to lose all of their profits that is why people are moaning and complains when their holdings decreases, miss opportunities in crypto, getting scams, and loose participating in good projects.
100  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum, Ripple or Litecoin? on: July 25, 2018, 07:29:47 PM
What is the best choice regarding investing in these coins? Lately I have sold my Ethereum and now I am waiting for the right moment to buy them again, but shall I also buy Ripple and Litecoin?
In my own personal opinion, i would like to buy ethereum than ripple and litecoin because it has more potential to have a value if i start to buy it and i could have more profit form ethereum, that ia why most investors mostly like to hold ethereum than other cryptocurrencies.
