1  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Groupbuy Solo Mining - Blockparty 2026 Number 4 - up to now 10 blocks found on: February 11, 2026, 11:57:03 AM
Hello all,

let's go to the next group buy from Hashingpower.

As already requested by some forum users I put a new group buy for solo mining. Start at the earliest after the next diff reduction.

~20 users for each 0.002 BTC or more BTC can participate. A higher number is not useful, otherwise a possible profit will be much too small.
If smaller amounts than the minimum amount are allowed in a single case, then the calculation of the rewards will be based on the amount of BTC deposited.
Hashingpower is rented on MiningRigRentals and shot on the solo pool.
The status of the group run can be observed during the runtime via the Live View link.
Here you can see what our hashingpower is and what our highest share / bestshare is.

If a block is found, the reward will be paid out to the participants.

In the past we had found 10 blocks --> 193 BTC!
Block list: 385022, 394940, 394946, 395087, 396941, 399709, 401934, 706369, 712217, 780525

Those who want to participate send their BTC to the following address bc1qay3yk0ew90rvx20mmj4s3ep8x8997kvlf8pexp and post their participation with the following template:

Please send your coins only if there is still a place available.

To make it a little easier in the new year, I've decided to do the reservations differently.
In the new year there are reservations possible for people who pay for 2, 5, 10, ... block party runs in front.
If the quota is exhausted, the place will be automatically free and someone else can use the place.

Specifically, we start with the Blockparty Run 2025-1 and if someone sends 20x 0.01 BTC at the first time, he is practically permanent until the Blockparty Run 20.
If someone joins the Blockparty Run 2025-7 and sends 10x 0.01 BTC, he will be a member until Blockparty Run 17.
This simplifies the organization and places are not permanently taken by the same people, unless someone sends 20x 0.01 BTC for the 20 planned Runs.

If we should not create at the end 2025 the Runs, for which someone already paid, the last Run in 2025 all payments are used around longer to run or we user the founds for next year.

As long as open slots are available the coins can be sent at any time without an OK from me

Of course there is no guarantee that we will find a block, but it would be mega if we repeat the runs until we find one!
Should something happen like: Hashpower rental account hacked, deposit address in forum post hacked, BTC sent to a wrong address, etc. no compensation for the loss will be provided. Everyone takes this risk or does not participate in the block party if they do not agree with it. However, I assure that everything will be done with the highest care as before.

This sounds like a really cool initiative. Pooling hashrate together to go for solo blocks adds some excitement to mining, and with your track record (10 blocks already is insane), it actually feels pretty solid.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: p2p h3at mine on: February 11, 2026, 11:20:10 AM
end result of encryption free bitcoin is a p2p h3at mine for the internet.  a service usable to mine heat on computers for energy.

maybe there could be a filesharing app for h3at mine.

they're vibing on an idea: mining crypto but actually for heat, not for profit
like a p2p network where you mine and heat your place at the same time
and they throw in the filesharing thing without really landing it, like mixing everything together!
3  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and family which one first? on: December 03, 2025, 04:50:05 AM
Gambling will destroy your marriage if yiu put it first before your family because you will start acting strange. Is it a crime for him to tell his wife to stop demanding excessively or he should look for an alternative means of income. Gambling takes the little money you have because it's a luck based game. The issue at hand needs to be solved with caution.

It might be good at first, but as things go beyond the OP's expectations, this will become a ticking time bomb for their marriage. Objective thinking is essential, as every married man should have a primary role in every decision-making process, especially when it comes to money and income.

Gambling isn't my first choice; there are many other options that still provide space and income if desired. If you're thinking about getting rich quickly, choosing that item is difficult. But whatever the option, avoid it as much as possible to avoid greater consequences if the OP forces it.
4  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is this price range a opportunity or a trap? on: December 03, 2025, 04:40:49 AM
Don't be fooled if the market situation is not consistent with the past history. Your guess will not work most of the time. You can miss the real entry point when searching for dips. Those newcomers enter the investment late due to their doubts about Bitcoin. To get what you are looking for from the Bitcoin market, you have to buy regularly at every price. In terms of investment long term Bitcoin accumulation are better than buying by searching for dip prices. The duration of deep corrections is always irrelevant for smart investors. Because you can never be satisfied with the buying and selling prices in the one of each market.

This is relevant and appropriate, as you stated above. Never be fooled by market conditions, but the reality is that sometimes we have to face the unpleasant reality of buying Altcoins. After we buy some Altcoins, the price doesn't immediately rise or even drops again, which ultimately causes us stress, even though we could have started buying them and held them for a long period. But, if we want to maintain our portfolio in the long term, Bitcoin might be our primary choice. So, let's think objectively whatever the situation and conditions.
5  Economy / Economics / Re: The desire to get more rich on: December 03, 2025, 04:21:47 AM
That is just the law of nature, people always want more, and even when they have more it won't still be enough. The truth is that human wants is endless, we are attracted to whatever we see and will want to own it provided you are here on this earth. The world is upgrading and everything in it as well, there is a saying that "the only thing constant in life is changes" meaning that there must always be new thing that will be produced to improve from the previous one or a new product. And this things will spike us to own them and abandoned the one we once had. Clamoring for the new just to look sharp and upto date. As we follow (trend) that is why our money is not enough because we would always wan to fulfill our desire to own new things.

Not only that, sometimes we need money to build the empire or the business we once desire, for that reason we need to increase from our previous payment to meet up the demand of what we want. Infact there are many reasons to why we need to increase from our previous payment.

Yes. We are all new and changing, and there are many reasons why we need to increase our income now and in the future. I agree, and it's wise for us as heads of families to prepare for our children's future survival and education.

Now, when it comes to investing and having the desire to get richer, investing requires careful analysis of projects, not missing a single point; that's what it means to be hopeful. This is where strategy is needed, and we will be able to monitor and navigate the market effectively if we don't wait and are patient. If the crypto market is to be considered an alternative solution, remember that it also carries high risks, and the world of crypto trading is highly volatile.
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Not every crypto is like bitcoin. on: December 03, 2025, 04:02:30 AM
Exactly, it was uncertain times when there have been a lot of forks out there and tried to outrace Bitcoin. Some believers have probably thought that Bitcoin was done for all at once during those periods but, none of them were able to get close to it. The position that Bitcoin has got in the entire market, the global economy that it's part makes it even stronger. And now with inflows from the etfs that's made due to it are also getting bigger and more volume. While it doesn't go straight to bitcoin's market capitalization, the people who earns from there will surely have that plan to buy themselves after profiting.

As long as there is supply and demand in the currency market, BTC will be fine. Most importantly, don't say that the price of BTC will fall to zero, as many BTC haters, like those we often encounter on social media, often find when reading. Whether they're just joking or not, that's their business, not ours. The achievement of the price after yesterday's short drop is a breath of fresh air, and hopefully, market confidence will improve and grow again, allowing it to return to its original price and achieve a new ATH, or at least rise above $100,000.

If someone wants to sell Bitcoin now, it's a bad time if the price continues to rise. However, if things reverse, there are two options: hold on or save in USDT. Of course, there's always a risk involved, as we could experience losses due to this decision. First, we lose money if our purchase price is high, and we also miss the opportunity to reach the highest price when Bitcoin halving is complete.
7  Economy / Speculation / Re: PATIENCE IS NOT ENOUGH... on: December 03, 2025, 03:46:39 AM
It is not clear how you can expect high returns if you have faith and trust in Bitcoin without patience. If a Bitcoin investor's real weapon is a discretionary income/lump sum followed by a long term patience and continuous efforts to accumulate Bitcoin. If you gain faith and trust by being influenced by others without analyzing Bitcoin, then you will have the possibility of investing your entire wealth blindly. Bitcoin is a risky investment. Initially you should know about this and enter the investment field accordingly. Investors invest based on assumptions about the value of Bitcoin, it is not a sure thing that you will definitely benefit. But the continuity of long term accumulation with patience will help you in getting high profits.

It's probably reasonable to say that faith and trust in Bitcoin must be accompanied by patience, because without it, it will be slow, if not impossible, to reach the point you mentioned above, where we can expect high returns. However, even though the price has risen overnight, market participants are currently concerned about price movements, which can be quite tedious. Furthermore, they must also consider several other factors beyond their control, such as global events and other factors.

Risk is an integral part of cryptocurrency investment, and it's true that we must be aware of it and learn how to properly select and manage it to ensure our investments grow smoothly, allowing us to seize opportunities by trading potential coins.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this the start of altcoin season on: November 30, 2025, 11:27:45 AM
i used to hear that when there is a huge liquidation in the market, that is when the altseason starts. but i am not seeing anything like that. the altcoins are still the same as before. instead they have started dropping more along with bitcoin’s price. now everyone wants to make profit, so no one wants to buy alt tokens and face losses. everyone depends on bitcoin. not only bitcoin, the number of holders of ether and bnb has also increased a lot compared to before. before i used to see that when bitcoin’s price was falling, altcoins would rise. this month a big liquidation happened, but the bull run still has not started. so i do not think an altcoin season will come this year.

Whales now seem quite strange and different. They usually only come to pump coins they want and might move to other coins during a price drop, but we see an opportunity there; there are many potential coins to collect. We don't need to worry about long-term investments, which carry more risk than short-term investments. But many traders are afraid to buy any coin when the Bitcoin price drops; risks must be taken and should not be avoided.

What should be avoided right now is never to approach shitcoins. If we see the price of shitcoins pumping again, it's better not to enter these coins, or we will be hit hard. Shitcoins will always be difficult to recover because investor confidence has been completely lost, and some of them may regret buying these junk coins. Buying more and holding them will cause our balance to drop and may be difficult to recover.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I have left the crypto market in the 2025 season on: November 30, 2025, 11:20:45 AM
There is a time in life when we need to take a break from everything, even as traders, and just be ourselves, not worrying about how the market is moving or reacting, especially now that the year is coming to an end. It's not going to be bad if we take a break, either taking profit or just stopping opening new trading orders until the year comes to an end; then we can continue with the new year.

It's a normal action and a temporary avoidance of distraction. Avoiding mistakes and greed is inevitable. Sometimes greed can have negative consequences in our trading, such as letting losses run and reducing previous profits. Without greed, our balance might remain stable and not grow.

Another solution is to stake using USDT on an exchange that offers this option, but weak parties won't accept this and prefer short-term investments, believing they have full control over the situation, which could lead to thousands of percent profits, even though they don't.
10  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What do you do to relieve your anger when you lose at gambling? on: November 29, 2025, 04:40:13 AM
I think it's quite human, yes, when we lose at gambling, we become angry because the defeat is really difficult to accept, but if we are always down because we lose, it will only worsen our mentality and thoughts, it's just a waste of time.

When I lose, I go play my guitar and play metal songs to vent my anger and when my adrenaline rushes, my mind goes straight again.

It's a great escape, my friend. But no matter how much the emotional impact of losing money from gambling, it has a psychological impact. But remember, never take it out on those closest to you, causing a bad temper and a complete change in attitude.

People's personalities, when they're not doing something stupid or contrary to their desires, are usually cheerful and enthusiastic. But when they're faced with other problems, especially losing a bet, it can be quite mentally depressing, with a gloomy and unmotivated face.

Money is necessary, but I believe there are many ways to earn it if we're willing to try without resorting to gambling. Money can be lost just as quickly.
11  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you handle your lost time in gambling. on: November 29, 2025, 04:33:38 AM
I think that people are very emotional after winning a game and after losing several times in a row. After winning a couple of times in a row, they become overwhelmed with happiness and after losing several times in a row, they become desperate to win. During these two times, people become very emotional. Therefore, one should make mental preparations before playing so that one can hold oneself back if one loses in the game and one should play with such money that one can keep oneself calm if one loses. Trying to make up for the loss by getting very emotional after losing is considered a very dangerous decision. When playing, anyone can lose and it is natural to lose, so one should only play with such money that one will not suffer if one loses.

That's a relevant thought, but remember, losing is an early warning to stop and not force yourself to play again. Sometimes, they let it happen and don't care about the consequences or the subsequent dangers if they force themselves to continue playing to recoup their previous losses.

The best solution is to take a break because there's always time as long as they haven't closed, whether online or offline. Just prepare your finances, mentality, and skills to avoid repeating the same mistakes in the future. Even if we care about the joy of winning and losing, it's normal and we won't be affected at all by those two things.
12  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will 2026 be green? on: November 29, 2025, 04:25:07 AM
If the market is already down quite significantly at the end of the year usually the price can recover back the next year. New year new sentiment.
The only thing to keep in mind is whether we gonna see another bearish cycle or not. If there's none we might even print another all time high.

At the end of the day we're just speculating here but honestly since inflation is high my bet is we go higher. Just see money supply.

That's the key point: there shouldn't be any more large-scale dumping by institutions or other large entities, which would increase selling pressure and further confuse market participants.

The price of BTC is currently defending itself from selling pressure at its current price range of $90,500. Judging by this defensive trend, it's possible the price will rise again in 2026, but there will likely be a slight correction during Eid al-Fitr and New Year's as many people sell in preparation for those times.

But 2027 will be a year of extraordinary waiting if we hold long term.
13  Economy / Economics / Re: Money and and power which is important on: November 29, 2025, 04:07:26 AM
I personally, I strongly believe that money is more important than power, money and power may be the same, but what I believe is they are strongly connect, the world we are living now money becomes bridge to respect and influence, the reason why I said so because with money you can be able to buy or influence power, when there's money you don't bother to hold political offices, with money they will put you in a room where titles don't matter at all, that is why I believe that money is important, the honest person may be respected, but a person with funds is often followed, that's reality of people in life, so while power is value, money still remains foundation.

Both reinforce each other, and the initial requirement is certainly having basic capital: money. Money is a medium to convince people that we have sufficient capital to gain political power. But behind all this, the reality we often see is that in many cases, integrity always earns long-term respect, but money only provides real influence in day-to-day decisions.

When compared to everyday behavior, it's inevitable that people tend to respect the wealthy and listen to all their words and requests. So, it's not surprising, because this is the way it is and has become a social custom in everyday life.
14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Do Long Term Bitcoin Holders Sell Their Bitcoin? on: November 29, 2025, 03:45:43 AM
The thing is do people get ask for more KYC when they send btc to Coinbase or Gemini?  Or when they sell it?  Or only when you cash out to bank account?

Each exchange has its own rules, and KYC is a mandatory requirement that must be met. Another thing is to avoid the hassle of withdrawing large amounts of money into your bank account. It's best to create a bank account with a large capacity and state when opening the account that you are an investor in digital currency trading. If the bank already has that information, I don't think they'll ask much about the money going into your account. It's best to transfer large amounts from that bank first, rather than directly into your account.

For exchanges, as others have mentioned, try to withdraw funds regularly and in large, non-flashy amounts. This means a gradual selling strategy, with settings like sending BTC in small batches, selling little by little, and withdrawing to the bank in reasonable amounts. This will keep your account secure and minimize the risk of additional KYC from the exchange. The message is that transparency is safer than trying to avoid further KYC questions, such as filling out forms, asking for clarity on the sender, the sender's address, the source of the funds, and the intended use.
15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Some say Bitcoin is a tool for criminals on: November 29, 2025, 03:26:08 AM
You know, Bitcoin's got this whole privacy thing going on, and people are like, Oh, it's a haven for criminals, But let's be real, privacy is a fundamental human right, Bitcoin is all about giving people freedom and access, no matter who you are or where you're from. It's not discriminating, it's just providing a service.

The cryptography behind Bitcoin is amazing, It's like, super safe and encrypted, so you know your transactions are protected. And let's be honest, if Bitcoin didn't have this privacy feature, we'd probably be seeing a lot more cyber attacks and stuff.

People who think that Bitcoin is promoting crime because it's private, they're just not understanding the bigger picture, you know? Crime has been around way before Bitcoin, so Bitcoin is just a tool, it's not the cause of crime. It's for everyone, and it's all about inclusivity, not exclusivity.

So, yeah, Bitcoin's private, and that's a good thing! It's about safety, security, and freedom.

In essence, the digital financial world is still in the development stage of its ecosystem. Issues of backlash will always arise for Bitcoin, and I think it's perfectly natural to hear them, and the pros and cons are interesting enough to hear without needing to explain in detail for a full understanding.

The most interesting thing is that BTC always gives us full control over our assets. Secondly, BTC is decentralized and provides financial inclusivity. However, the risks of money laundering, scams, and high volatility are caused by individuals misusing BTC not for good but for bad. This can tarnish BTC's integrity, especially among those opposed to it.

I remember during the COVID-19 pandemic, one of the things used to channel donations to countries in need when restrictions were imposed was the quick solution to use BTC. People didn't know about it, so there was a lot of debate, but rather than constantly spreading misinformation, it's better to educate the public about safe and responsible use if you can.
16  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How can we avoid addictions in gambling? on: November 28, 2025, 04:39:42 PM
I believe the fact most gamblers get addicted to gambling has many reasons .For example the idea of them winning back their losses,  the fact that they now see gambling as a source of income, and lastly, because they lack what is known as financial planning.
Why I said this is because most times most gamblers often neglect the fact that not all money is supposed to be used for gambling ,you only use the money you know you can afford to lose. However addiction in gambling happens a lot and ways one can avoid it vary based on the person's personality. My advice to avoid addiction for gamblers is that they  should learn to know when to stop betting, especially when their chances of losing are very high. Another one is set fixed days you gamble. That's all for me....

Your interesting insight, and what's important to understand, is that everything becomes an addiction, and it's not about how weak or strong a person is in preventing themselves from getting caught up in such conditions. There's a much larger factor that influences why it persists: the environment in which we live.

Naturally, both psychologically and socially, everything is interconnected, from simply sitting around chatting to discussing gambling strategies, let alone engaging in a comfortable conversation.

In my opinion, the cause of gambling addiction isn't as simple as we think. It's definitely the emotional cycle that keeps us drawn to gambling, especially if we've experienced winnings from gambling, whether once, twice, or more.

okay suppose i take it just as fun. but when it is played with money and i keep losing again and again will it feel fun to me or will i become serious about it. not everything can be done as fun. a person who has a lot of wealth that will never run out can take gambling as fun. but people like us will not take it as fun. the fun will last only as long as you keep winning. gambling needs your skill intelligence and patience. otherwise you cannot win by gambling. so i think if you want to play gambling just for fun you have to remove the thought of winning from your head. if it is in your luck the win will come anyway.

The picture you convey is quite realistic and true. Gambling will always feel fun as long as someone isn't burdened by losses that can lead to financial hardship, meaning there are losses that they shouldn't have incurred due to emotional and reckless gambling.

Why do I say this? We must be aware that our financial capabilities are still limited, unlike those with large capital. If they lose, their chances of faltering and panicking are zero, while if we lose by that much, they're already confused. If they happen to witness it, they'll say, "Oh, that's still small compared to the losses I've experienced before compared to yours."

Yes, when playing a normal character, it comes from the brain's natural pursuit of rewards, and every win triggers excess dopamine. That's a fact we can't avoid, even if we're very good player in gambling.

Every type of business or enterprise certainly has its own market. If we want to open a business or enterprise, it is best to adapt it to our style or skills and adapt it to the available budget so that the business can run realistically and sustainably. In my opinion, the food business is a highly promising sector because food is a basic human need and is always in demand, coupled with trends like healthy eating and local cuisine. Doing research before starting this business will make you selective in starting a business.

That's clear, and usually by the afternoon, the volume of customers is high, especially if the food has a reputation and is clearly of high quality. People will come because it's delicious, the place is comfortable, and the parking is spacious, especially if there's an additional play area for children, which makes it even more exotic.

Of all the models, my favorite is selling liquids of any kind. But the top ones are selling fuel, whether diesel or gasoline, and cigarettes. That business model never dies. The profits are small, but the turnover is fast. In essence, as long as there are humans, we can do all kinds of business. The most important thing is market research and the strategic location of our business premises.

Exactly, inflation has always been in existence and yet there are people doing well in their businesses and living a normal life like inflation doesn't exist in their corner, I have long decided that inflation isn't going to limit me from living a normal life even though it would be tough but the best thing to do is to keep living and surpass every inflation. I don't see anything see about inflation because all it does is to limit us from pushing forward and now we all believe that inflation has the right to define us and how we live our lives in other to survive and even though it is a major challenge but everyone should be used to it already and if we continue to blame inflation we won't be able to succeed in anything we do.

Finding quick solutions is necessary, rather than constantly complaining and blaming inflation for the economic inequality we currently experience. This is quite noticeable, and can be seen in our monthly expenses if we can record them.

Inflation won't be as noticeable if we live in a village because some items aren't essential, especially if we farm and grow staple foods and vegetables. This can help cover monthly expenses, at least for other essential needs, in addition to other basic necessities like electricity and fuel, which are daily purchases and essential bills.

Another solution to make things easier is to find additional income.
20  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading and long-term investing on: November 28, 2025, 04:01:28 PM
There might not be certainty, it is a matter of being ready to take risks, and when you are ready to take risks, then I don't see why anyone wouldn't want to, because there are people who are short-term and even more risky when it comes to trading compared to long-term trading. And there are ways that risk can be taken responsibly, and that is why, when you want to trade, the best thing is for the involved party to study and see if they have the capacity to manage short-term trading, and it is not everyone who can manage such emotional pressure.

There is no financial freedom when you don't want to take a risk, because even if you don't take a risk, then there will not be any change in the situation, because we are only in the struggle, so you just have to take a risk so that you won't, and everything is about how much time you spend on how to get better at it, it all depends on how committed you are, because consistency is what gives you more. and everything is about how every individual manages exactly what they want, because trading needs knowledge to be able to trade.

It's undeniable that trading requires knowledge, especially for day traders. They must have a solid grasp of technical analysis. This way, they know whether market conditions are ripe for entry or are still in their trap. Large whales typically set their traps. They attempt to manipulate prices by pretending they've already started with a market pump. This would be even better, and if we don't understand intraday support and resistance levels, we'll be trapped in the wrong position.

Intraday or swing trading may have lower risks and a wider range, making it safer. For the long term, we need to cultivate optimism so we don't sell Bitcoin or other cryptocurrency assets at a low price and continue to do so when the market corrects like last week and that we all see.
