I agree.

Also - it's just lazy.  Really.

In the past a middleman actually had to buy it, receive it and then resell it.

In India sometimes the first guy in line will buy all the tickets to a popular movie and then turn around and sell them at a premium.  This seems like one of those things.

Yep that is true. Hopefully a lot of the units will go for unpaid... as long as people don't buy them on repurchase and a lot of people are scammers to trying to screw people out of BTC to resell them login info.
283  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Refuse to Buy Re-sold D3 on Principle on: August 03, 2017, 04:45:33 PM
I agree Bitmain should implement some sort of safeguard against this practice. It will cost Bitmain more money anyway as a lot of orders will go unpaid .

Lottery system...

Yes its getting out of hand... because of supply/demand in a weird way i can understand there greed..
285  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Refuse to Buy Re-sold D3 on Principle on: August 03, 2017, 03:23:45 PM
As we all know bitmain released another batch of D3 (some estimates around 32k D3) today morning.

https://shop.bitmain.com/productDetail.htm?pid=000201707201601357978QhCAWa5065C

few minutes after it was sold out... people on twitter/forums etc started selling there unpaid D3 for exuberant prices.

I want to take a personal stand against these profiteers who only block purchase (from legitimate miners) orders to resell (nothing wrong with reselling i have sold a lot of my equipment in the past at market prices) my problem is that the buyers have no intention of purchasing D3 and they don't have funds to do so or run some of the D3s they are not crypto supporters they are just price gauger....

I hope you take a stand with me and not purchase there empty unpaid orders... let me know your thoughts.

(some will say i am bitter/upset on missing out the D3 sale and they are correct i am sad  but not bitter i would rather wait and support the network at a fair price than line the pocket of some schmuck who who got lucky and ordered few D3s never intending to pay or mine with them )

286  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How much BCC you can get if you had holding 1BTC? on: August 03, 2017, 04:12:32 AM
None of the exchanges are allowing BCH deposits i checked with Kraken/bittrex/nova/cryptopia so far... any idea when the BCC/BCH wallets will come out of maintenance. mode.

Hi, I just wanna ask are most of you who purchased L3+ July batch got your order shipped already? I guess some yes, some not. If yes/no, I just like to know what is the date you placed your orders? I just want to know if they really ship in the order of "order date" or just ship randomly. I have mine ordered on May 8, and still waiting for shipment.
Thanks for the info.

My order was placed on May 1st for July 20th-30th shipping date just got an update the unit will be arriving in 10 hours I can't sleep, because of excitement.  July 21st delivery before 10:30AM fedex.

I think the eye rolling was sarcasm lol

But I can't wait for my batches.

Still waiting for my confirmation. All batches got shipped early and I don't even received my freaking PSUs yet  Undecided

Lol nice. If my miners arrive and they fucked up my PSU order completely I will get yours. Not enough but better than nothing  Grin

I have an extra PSU coming let me know if any one is interested in it, I think it is AP3W+ 220v version. I will part with it @ cost + shipping I will be shipping from Dallas TX.

It's still best to receive the miner vs PSU than the other way around!

You are correct... it was sarcasm... Only have few getting delivering on friday.

Stop listening to every one else: go buy yourself

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Dell-PowerEdge-R710-Virtualization-Server-8-Core-48GB-4x300GB-15K-1-2TB-PERC6i-/171307537270?hash=item27e2b99376:g:HfcAAOSwz71ZSpOj

it has 48GB RAM yes 48GB you can install windows 10 on it PRO buy a legit key for $15

you can run all the wallets/staking etc your heart desires...

good luck .

This is actually very similar to what I was suggesting, a bit beefier. I would agree though that something like this would have all the horsepower you will probably need for those tasks.

Yep I got 2 of those, running all the STaking/wallets etc off them. real secure once you install Vmware virtualization (free) on top of windows 10 pro $15

295  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ZEN] ZENCASH: Permanent, Distributed, and Fully Anonymous cryptocurrency on: July 11, 2017, 09:46:09 PM
Hi there, I've got a noob dumb question, I got round 3.23 KSol/s, I joined a pool today started mining this coin. After like 12h I only got a balance about 0,62 zen when whattomine calculated about 4.570694 zen in 24/h with that hashrate so what's wrong?

whattomine is broken, calculation are just estimates.

Edit: which pool by the way? some pool wait for blocks to mature so it could be a while before you see correct balance.

297  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 2 Radeon RX 580 but Claymore only sees 1.....HELP!!! on: July 05, 2017, 09:06:34 PM
Hello All,

I'm running on a Windows set up, the drivers were out of the box, I have 2 Radeon RX 580 on an ASUS Z270-p motherboard.

I've reinstalled the drivers a few times but when I run Claymore 9.7 he only sees 1 GPU  HuhHuh

Both cards are physically installed properly they are both "breathing" with the red lights.

How can I fix this so my system can see both cards and thus Claymore 9.7 sees them as well?

HELP!!!

move it to mining... wrong section.

299  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Launching the Antminer L3+, World's Most Powerful and Efficient Litecoin Miner on: July 04, 2017, 06:22:23 AM
shouldnt the prices go down as the same machine comes out with increased difficulty?

Yes logically yes, however price of LTC is staying ahead of difficulty and also people are using there L3+ to mine altcoins as oppose to LTC only because altcoins are around 20-25% more profitable so the ROI is faster.
300  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Metropolois likely to reduce ETH mining reward to 3 or less on: July 04, 2017, 06:19:27 AM
all that means by reducing reward is price of Ethereum is about to spike. mark my word Ethereum is going to be at $500 because as soon as its announced in terms of reduction in rewards BOOM scarcity people will start hoarding Ether.
