"Due to regulatory concerns beyond our control we cannot accept deposits from the State of New York."

Just a little FYI: Seems Bitmain/Hashnest is now blocking ALL USA from making any kind of deposits to your btc/ltc wallets in accordance with the New York Bit license.. Ya they just band all  North America..

Smooth

Can any one else please confirm that?

I think the sentiment is consensus the Sia Asics pre-order is garbage.
307  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Launching the Antminer L3+, World's Most Powerful and Efficient Litecoin Miner on: June 25, 2017, 06:41:23 AM
Guys what you think about the price for L3+ on hashnest for next restock ?

I would not expect a low price.
Bitmain sells L3+ for 46.9 LTC in China. For us price is 41 LTC.
The next L3+ in Hashnest can cost even up to around $5600.

That price is crazy.  No way would they sell enough at that price.

yes because $5600 is way too high and ROI i think far from this point

Nope $5600 is easy for them to sell... the other way they can sell it is currently 1 MH/s on Hashnest Market is going for 0.3080 LTC so

so 1 L3+ will be 504 x .3080 = 155 LTC x $43 per LTC = $6675

so if Hashnest is smarter than slowly sell L3+ on the Market Average Daily Volume is 24000 Mh/s or about 50 L3+ day they can keep mining for themselves until they can sell all there hash power on open market.

310  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Zcash v ZenCash on: June 20, 2017, 08:27:01 AM
But I think that was what happened, I think some people who had interest and involvement in ZCL thought, rightly in my view, that without a funding model this is going nowhere. I'd say the Zen people probably wanted what they saw as a 'fairer' funding model than Zcash. The result is less goes to the developers, and they introduced the concept of funded secure nodes. These nodes aren't just for fun, because they're going to have encryption, including certificated encryption, right through - so all comms will be encrypted.

Zcash team is well regarded, which is why I said so in my post. Though with the high inflation over the next three and a half years or so for both coins until block reward halving, I'd be slightly scared to invest in a $400 ZCash with $620 mill market cap. Sure, it was buyable for $30 a few months ago before the altcoin boom, and I'm not predicting it's downfall. It just makes me nervous, $400 is a lot of downside risk.

Because the whole reason ZenCash launched was Zclassic doesn't have a funding model to fund development, 100% goes to miners - in my view, no chance of competing these days without a development funding model funded with a share of the block reward. But this is my opinion only.

Why not ZClassic? It's like Zen without the unnecessary extras.

Lol so, "let's fork ZCash because we don't like the 20% founders reward... oh wait we need some money to continue development cause who would work for free?"

For fuck sake.

I feel the same way with Bitcoin/Ethereum and every other cryptos out there... downside is too big. Having said that if Zcash were to drop all the Nvidia Miners would be pissed...
311  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Launching the Antminer L3+, World's Most Powerful and Efficient Litecoin Miner on: June 19, 2017, 11:07:09 PM
Guys spoke with a source: Regarding Hashnest they are about to post 2000 Units at $4k or $4500.

dafuq?!?!?!

Yesterday I ordered an L3+ w/ PSU and shipping included for $1550 from giga-watt ( https://giga-watt.com/promo/prices ). Yes, giga-watt will be hosting it. Yes I have purchased WTT tokens which guarantee space and power. It will not arrive until 20-September or so but that's OK with me as I can not run it at home (electricity is too expensive here). Keep an eye on giga-watt's web page to see when they have L3+ in stock and buy from them. While you are waiting for the L3+ miner(s) to arrive buy enough WTT tokens to cover the L3+ miner order (see my sig for a referral link to buy WTT). Just remember that each L3+ requires 880 tokens.

There is no way that I'd pay USD4000-USD4500 for an L3+. If I was going to spend that kind of money for a miner, I'd be more inclined to build an open-frame GPU rig with six GTX 1080Ti GPUs and mine other altcoins. You'd probably have an better chance at achieving ROI. And at the end of the day, if you tire of GPU mining, selling off the 1080Ti GPUs will be easy.

i bought 1 at 1.8K, 1 at 3K, 1 at 3.6K, and for 5K already at hashnest,..so my average is pretty good, but still would like it to be priced at 5.5K-6K usd dollars. currently its 6K, so the drop wouldnt be to BIG.

They were rolling them out next week however they are having some issues with datacenter/power grid so not sure when Hashnest will be selling additional 2k units. Will keep you appraised if i hear anything different.
312  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Launching the Antminer L3+, World's Most Powerful and Efficient Litecoin Miner on: June 19, 2017, 11:03:31 PM
It's not sold out, as it's not yet launched - as per L3+ "Notes" - bullet #6:
"Bitmain recommends the new PSU that is especially designed for the Antminer L3+ and will be available to purchase after 20 June 2017 with shipping start date before that of this Antminer L3+ batch."

Thanks for the clarifications. I have edited my answer too regarding the aternatives : an EVGA supernova 10 50 GS seems to be a good option.

http://deepinthemines.com/index.php?rt=product/product&product_id=211  site down atm but they have l3+ server based psu for $90

Used to be $74.99 and they jacked up the price i hate price gauging...
313  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Thank you Millennials for screwing the world. on: June 18, 2017, 03:41:08 PM
I don't care how technically superior it is, I don't care if the price rocketed. ETH has always been a project funded by banks secretly to make a Bitcoin that the banks could live with i.e. Unlimited supply, ability to make tokens or currency out of thin air, derivatives, track everyones money etc.

Well now you fuckwits just got out of your debt slavery from college and now have put the biggest slavery noose around the worlds neck you utter morons.

Bitcoin was to set the world free, ETH is to enslave us. Just remember when your kids are suffering and pulled into wars and death you were the generation that sold them down the river for your handful of beans. Now you pushed it enough the mainstream fools are now buying it. slow hand clap. Well fucking done Millennials.

90% of the traffic on ETH is ICO's, so I doubt your beloved millennials are to blame. This is what drives the price.
ETH is a ICO machine more or less.

Its all transfer of wealth and paper gains... you just donn't want to be the last guy holding the bag... when shit turns to shit...

People are saying oh these time around its different. No it is not different its the same. like 2012-2013 the only thing is the bubble is lasting longer and it could continue to last little longer more... when it pops we will all be covered in shits...
314  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining ETH on nVidia finally work...(win10+GTX 1070) on: June 18, 2017, 03:25:38 PM
Hi, guys I am a noob trying to decide if I should go with these cards to build my rig. Price is a little higher than I wanted to pay. but all the good graphics cards seem to be going up on price or just sold out. Any advise would be highly appreciated. Thanks

I just built a Nvidia GTX 1070 rig last month, yes they are expensive and the ROI will be a lot slower due to higher price instead of 90 days you are looking at 6 months but if you don't need immediate return on your investment and are patience yes GTX 1070 are a fine card, they also draw less power and give better performance. I run them on 60% power and than do 28-29 MH/s for ethereum at 96-100 Watts. which is fantastic a similar AMD RX 470-480 would have drawn 130 to 150 watts.

My advise if you are not sure Start with 1 or 2 card and expand as they became available or you find deals, but the way things are selling out my guess we won't be seeing any deals on graphics cards anytime soon.
315  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Launching the Antminer L3+, World's Most Powerful and Efficient Litecoin Miner on: June 18, 2017, 03:21:32 PM
The L3+ keeps popping in and out of stock on the Bitmain site.  So I don't know if they are doing this based on batches that they are ordering or if there is something else going on causing this availability to keep changing.  Certainly is strange.

A lot of times what happens is people click on "BUY" but the payment never goes through so they go back on sale if the buyer never makes payment, either wire didn't go thru or buyer didn't send BTC etc. so they keep it on reserve status for 24 hours or so and than it goes back on market part of inventory management i suppose.

When I checked it looks sold out for suree.

No End for Greed from Bitmain!! I betchya they probably pumped LTC, the source is local chinese guy from Chengdu.

He has been very reliable in the past.
318  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: LTC is the next pump, buy before moon landing!!!!! on: June 17, 2017, 01:51:05 AM
Whats going on with LTC any major news that we are missing?

Its going up on a strong volume.

I think its just a regular pump event meaning its likely to dump again in the following days. Good right now for all those who were holding though.

It just broke through resistance of 35-36 i think it could easily settle at $50 next week....

Who did the historic great hype / spam super pump of early 2016 ?

There is more than enough reasons to think that.
Problem is you noobs are.. noobs.
You came here and did not do your homework.. now you get all snotty and say prove it.
No profiteers you prove it.
It's up to you to check on shit before buying scamereum ICO coins.
