Anyone know how long it takes for these guys to confirm a wire transfer?

I've been reading some pages on here and it seems its a lottery more than a sure thing. Very odd. You'd figure the 1 thing a company, who's looking for profits, would be good at, is confirming cash transactions. haha

4 working days

Thanks. I expected 2-3, since its 24 hours minimum just for the transfer to go through.

Mine was accepted less than 24 hours. It all depends, on your bank. If you don't hear anything go to your bank and ask for a trace route, they would have to call wire department expect to spend about 2 hours.

Sometimes Banks don't release wire and they don't inform you because they have additional KYC/AML question regarding your wire, so always a good idea with sending bank to check see if it went through.

Even if funds were debited out of your account,  it can be held by compliance so always always check back with bank if you dont' get updated from bitmain in 24 hours.

it would be laughable to hold my money for KYC/AML issues due to it being such a low amount, but good point.

I'll give them today as well, to make it over 48 hours from the time the wire went through, and will check in with the bank tomorrow morning if i still dont hear back from Bitmain.

Thanks for the heads up, didnt think about that.

No Worries keep us Updated and good luck.
322  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: All this talk about "mining specific" GPU's on: June 15, 2017, 06:25:50 PM
Agreed - the capabilities of a specific mining gpu must outweigh the lost scrap value since one cannot sell it on to the gaming or visualisation markets

Until that time, gaming cards will be the card of choice I believe simply due to their scrap value being taken into account when calculating lifetime ROI

Perhaps another point to add that would be desirable: compact size. The smaller the card the smaller the rig and the smaller the rig the more rigs one can fit into the space - thereby reducing the space a farm takes up (heat dissipation of course would need to remain unaffected.......)

The new mining specific GPUs are said to be 2x faster in mining for ethereum almost 60 MH/s for $350

I'm interested since I could arrange a pick up local, trouble is I don't need another rig right now lol.

I'm not sure what price you were thinking for local pickup but seeing as you have the cards and boxes, the best I could offer would be 15% off their respective retail prices with RX Vega around the corner. Looks like you have 5 4gb cards and 1 8gb card.

I know it sucks to mess with but if you're wanting a good price you're going to either have to sell them on ebay or be willing to ship them.

Thanks for your interest, I have already recieved multiple offers, just debating which one is better.

As far as vega coming they are announcing it on August 1st and Retail versions don't come out till Jan of 2018. The cards will still retain there value and you will ROI in 2-3 months.

for the a member who asked for proof.

No doubt, It's why I started building 1070 rigs instead -- I have another 7 awaiting me to set them up right now. More initial cost but less power for a similar hash and higher resale later.

These 6 GPU's you are selling are a great deal for someone out there -- I have some buddies local to DFW that might be interested and I'll ask around but by no means should you hold up a sale that's favorable to you.

Thanks for the picture, I was going to ask same thing

Eyedol much appreciated but they are already sold. I know my wife will be very happy once I ship them out.

You have an asking price?

Not Really honestly whatever is fair market value, i know they are going on ebay for $400+ but i don't want that much if you are buying all 6.
Feel free to let me know.

I would hate to list them on ebay just too much work.

Ah I am in PA so I guess you don't want to ship them?

I don't mind.

Guys I am okay with Escrow Service as well.

The cards have been running for 1 month in a smoke free clean environment.
329  Economy / Computer hardware / [SOLD] Selling My All 6 GPU for Ethereum Mining - Dallas Area on: June 15, 2017, 01:09:24 AM
Hey guys
I have 6 Cards 4 RX 570 1 RX 580 and 1 RX 480

all the cards you need for your mining rig or to build one. The reason I am selling is because my wife has been complaining about that it heats up the house and she just dislikes it.

Please let me know if any one is interested, i can do ethereum, Litecoin, BTC, Cash or combination.
I prefer in person Meet.

The 4 RX 570 are not modded/flash on BIO, it is stock BIO.
The RX 580 and RX 480 are flashed with 1500 straps.

You can see the rig has been running for past 78 hours stable, before that it was running for 15 days no issues.

I am just selling the cards as i will be using the powersupply and motherboard for personal gaming use/home theater PC.

330  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining ZEC and ETH on the same rig on: June 14, 2017, 02:40:58 PM
Mixed rigs are so complicated with drivers issues.
331  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: All Shares Rejected on: June 14, 2017, 02:39:51 PM
Indeed the ethereum address in the config you're running the miner with seems invalid and could very well be the reason the pool diconnects. Try setting a valind ETH address and see how it goes.

Yep Incorrect address format.

Looking forward for ico  Smiley
Same. Its killing me waiting with all this bitcoin drama lately. Glad the ICO will start before the August 1st dilemma.

Not looking forward to August 1st.
333  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Launching the Antminer L3+, World's Most Powerful and Efficient Litecoin Miner on: June 14, 2017, 01:39:02 PM
I have an unpleasant gut feelings that miners will be gone in less than a week

Will buy mine by Friday

My own view is contrary to yours...they will continue to kick them out like toasters...I mean they probably imho are NOT moving a lot of bitcoin miners to large data
halls and or users...not when LTC miners make so much more for the same shelf space

again I think they will kick them out to the point like toasters to be equiv to say 11 -14 month ROI like it was last jan/feb ...in other words about 100 bucks a month
after electric.

again, imho..they have to keep the bitmain plant going....generate cash for the sale/design of new asics and chips.they have employees and rent to pay on data halls

etc...

so again in my view they will run the L3+ miners into the dirt and such like they did the bitmain miners...you get one w/o a price pump in your coin of choice and you may

roi in 11-14 months...this will be by december in my view..if they front end this out like toasters this last 1/2 of the year

I think folk are gonna be shocked at the bitmain dump of equip on the 3 batches in July

again, hope I'm wrong..but it is what they do...more so it seems now that they have fully embraced a 2-3 month pre-order system

but man ...I got knc titans that are still hanging in there....I really, really hope I'm incorrect....my gut says NOPE ...all asic miners are evil ..they swamp the market...its what they do Smiley

July is going to be a ticking time bomb.... lots of L3+ coming online i am sure hashnest will also have some as we get closer to july. Get ready for difficulty spike.
334  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Thank you Millennials for screwing the world. on: June 13, 2017, 04:48:50 AM
I'm doubtful it's all, or even a majority of millenials who are riding the current boom, most of them didn't have the money to invest in mining or buy in  Grin

Seriously though, Ether has utility, Bitcoin has utility (and is still a massive value store), NEITHER provide anonymity, and both have some serious issues to be concerned with.

That said there's PLENTY of booming projects that still have great promise in anonymity and freedom: Monero, ZEC, ZCL, ZEN, Zcoin, well really it seems just about anything starting with a Z.

Blockchain is here to stay, companies and governments are going to use and abuse it, like they always have with any other technology they can benefit from.  That doesn't mean the benefits to those who value freedom and anonymity are destroyed, just don't put YOUR money in ETH and you'll be just fine.

I think well said... I agree 100% with your sentiment if you don't like don't buy it.
335  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which coins with price under $1 are undervalued? on: June 13, 2017, 04:40:59 AM
I think Chaincoin is very undervalued under $.10cents it has a MN structure and it could be worth $1 or more once the developers upgrade the .12 DAsh protocol.

Right now you can get a MN for $80 but again it could go to 0 cents for all i know...

I forgot to mentioned I got 1000 Chaincoin got a MN last month
20th May to be exact here is the link for My MN

http://104.238.153.140:3001/address/CdqsvW91KcUN569UnuGCfj4A2a84gUHncL

you can see already made me 7.6% in return Not bad on $80 Investment. Its not even a while month yet.
Thinking about adding another MN.

337  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: eth 22x~23x mh/s one gpu , 6gpu total 1342mh/s new GPU? on: June 13, 2017, 04:25:18 AM

Source please? you are n00b posting here... humm.. FAKE unless source provided.

I think he wants more info, hence the question, AMD or Nvidia.......

No Idea don't know any card that can do that for now... If i have to Bet it could be Nvidia if they solved the GDR5 memory issue for ethereum it could be a game changer.

339  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Thank you Millennials for screwing the world. on: June 13, 2017, 04:14:53 AM
I don't care how technically superior it is, I don't care if the price rocketed. ETH has always been a project funded by banks secretly to make a Bitcoin that the banks could live with i.e. Unlimited supply, ability to make tokens or currency out of thin air, derivatives, track everyones money etc.

Well now you fuckwits just got out of your debt slavery from college and now have put the biggest slavery noose around the worlds neck you utter morons.

Bitcoin was to set the world free, ETH is to enslave us. Just remember when your kids are suffering and pulled into wars and death you were the generation that sold them down the river for your handful of beans. Now you pushed it enough the mainstream fools are now buying it. slow hand clap. Well fucking done Millennials.

Care to explain your reasoning instead of just ranting... we are listening... you are entitled to your opinion and free speech.

Please do share your reasons why you feel the way you do, I am not saying I disagree just keeping an open mind. Its always great to hear a different perspective that you may have not consider...
340  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How far do you think ETH will go? on: June 13, 2017, 04:12:26 AM

I just hope it doesnt end up dumping hard in the future.

You'll be hoping in vain. This is peak Ether.

Huge portions of the coin supply have been taken off the market by ICO's. Ether is the only smart contract chain mature enough to host significant ICOs of meta tokens at the moment. When those two aspects go into reverse:

1. ICO's start liquidating their holdings in order to spend (or to preserve them when the market turns around)

2. Tezos, EOS, Rootstock, Ark...you name it blockchains that improve on Ethereum in all sorts of ways and provide cheaper platforms in many cases

...then lookout below. Hammer blow.

I agree with your sentiment I think we are ready for a drop a massive one... note sure when and how it will start expect 80% corrections.
