1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if, we advertise bitcoin on T.V.? on: May 05, 2017, 12:02:41 PM
I've just thought about this for a moment but, if we want bitcoin to get more popularity, attention or acceptance would it be nice to make some advertisement about it on T.V.? I don't know if in other countries they advertise bitcoin but in my country, I haven't seen one. How do you think advertising bitcoin will affect the people? Any thoughts?

Most countries don't accept BTC as a legal currency and they do think it is a thing that only criminals use to get away from the hold of the government.
But soon they will have to acknowledge the presence of bitcoin soon as it's price is rising and so is it's community.
Anyway I will not be surprised when I am watching TV and suddenly a pop-up appears that is somehow related to bitcoins. That is still far away. The reason to this is that there must be a lot of funders who funds these payments and since it is open-source nobody really cares about it. They only do care for thier own benefits and gains. Not all people I mean most.

Moral : TV ads will appear soon but it will take a while for the funders to get together and form a solid plan and convince the TV guys to allow thier ad. It's all giving me a headache to think about it. For now I think let's forget about it and hope and wait for the TV day.
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 10 main mistakes of Bitcoin newbies on: May 05, 2017, 11:51:45 AM
All of these mistakes re quite common in crypto newbie world besides faucets. I really do not think anyone sane uses faucets anymore besides people from third world where $1 means something.
On the other hand, these people re not targets for faucets marketing so it does not work.

$1 means something to the third world, all right. But if those third world people could go to work as a waiter, as stated in the article then, they could surely make more money then earning from the faucets.

Hi, with price soaring and newbies joining I found useful sharing this miniguide.
Hope this is appreciated

http://immutable.today/10-mistakes-bitcoin-newbies/

Pretty useful information for me. I was doing every single of the mentioned mistakes. Your efforts are much appreciated.

This article have missed to cover about low fee newbies used to put to save cost on payments leading unconfirmed transaction for many hours. That will make them panic about bitcoin and they will start blaming bitcoin network for it and some may even opt out from the idea of using bitcoin again.  Grin

Only the article was missing the commin mistake newbies make, by setting low fee in transactions then gettting unconfirmed transactions and blaming the evil nature of bitcoin as stated by SONG GEET

TIME IS UP AND OVER dude!!!!

SHUT THIS SHIT DOWN!!!!!!!

DELETE THE OP AND CHANGE THE TITLE TO   "DELETED"

I don't care about what you are talking. I am not even paying attention to you. The admins will have a long talk for you I guess
11  Economy / Services / Re: Competition | Winner will be rewarded 1 BTC on: March 31, 2017, 12:27:20 PM
An interesting way of making yourself some BTC OP.
If it works then I'll genuinely be impressed. It'd probably be one of the easiest ways of making 0.5BTC in today's market.
Having been said, getting 7500 members to participate in this would be near impossible. Even those that do join aren't even guaranteed to send you the BTC as they may think the odds of them winning are slim.
I'll give you credit for the idea but it's definitely not going to work. Maybe try with a smaller pool of players for a smaller prize and perhaps you may be on to something...

Edit: Just saw the update. Getting 300 members may be more realistic but setting the minimum at 300k satoshi isn't.

Thanks. I really appreciate your method of talking. No wonder you a legendary.
12  Economy / Services / Re: Competition | Winner will be rewarded 1 BTC on: March 31, 2017, 11:36:09 AM
The competition looks something a unique plan similar to a lottery winning. Making it function in a perfect manner with calculated number of participants is simply impossible. So however op escrow it also, it's not gonna be successful. It's a completely planned scam to get 20000 sat from as much possible members in the name of faucet competition.

No we will be using an escrow such as Lutpin or Vod or someone who is respected in the community. and the new proposal is 300 members of this forum and the money will go the escrows account. More than 300 people has read this thread.

Any objections?
13  Economy / Services / Re: Competition | Winner will be rewarded 1 BTC on: March 31, 2017, 11:31:16 AM
If no one replys at 12:00PM local time I will be forced to close this thread.

I am going to ignore Amorjaz since I have complained to moderaters and the forum Admins and I hope they take action on him.

Here I am going to propose a new idea.

We need 300 participants and each participant will have to pay at the least around a 300,000 satoshis and the one who is going to pay the most will recieve 1BTC so if anyone in intrested we can continue or else I will be forced to lock this thread since it is bringing a big commotion on the forum. I respect this forum and am ready to contribute to it. Since I am a newbie I can't. But soon in the near future I will becoming a respected member of this community,

There is no difference in Hero and Newbie . Everyone was once a Newbie. Goodbye. This thread will be locked in 35 minutes if it dosen't bring any use to the forum members.
14  Economy / Services / Re: Competition | Winner will be rewarded 1 BTC on: March 31, 2017, 10:44:25 AM
as i look up and read all the different people "VERY RESPECTED "people of this forum;" i should not even need to add!" i really feel so sorry for many of them that they cannot be as such a big mouth as i am without losing reputation and credibility! so for all those that cant enjoy saying certain things i will let you enjoy this and dump all the crap on me for it !!! here goes....

your a huge fucking scam artist , but with no art!!!

you should be blocked from this forum as i very may well be for this post!

PLEASE FIND A DIFFERENT FORUM TO SCAM PEOPLE!

Respect this forum and stop using filthy words unless you want to get banned.

I did not at all scam anyone nor attempt to do so. I agreed upon using escrow and everything but this member of the forum comes and spoils everything.

Please do not take notice of him.

Anyone in the competition?
15  Economy / Services / Re: Competition | Winner will be rewarded 1 BTC on: March 31, 2017, 08:59:47 AM
Which site?
Im interested, hope you could use an escrow for this.
I will join if it reaches 7500 members i hope no one would cheat.

The two big main ones.

claimbtc and takefreebitcoin

If you want to join please reply "BITCOINFAUCET" to this thread so I can add you up to the competitors list.
16  Economy / Services / Re: Competition | Winner will be rewarded 1 BTC on: March 31, 2017, 08:41:00 AM
Hello there kind stranger! I can send you 20,001 satoshis right now without wasting my precious time on any shitty faucets. Where do you want me to send my hard-earned satoshis?

I will accept it on the day the competitions ends. Let others have thier time.

Anyway if you want to join do not forget to reply to this thread with the codeword "BITCOINFAUCET"
17  Economy / Services / Re: Competition | Winner will be rewarded 1 BTC on: March 31, 2017, 08:39:39 AM
Im not sure youre even gonna come close to 15000 participants. Seems like a waste of time for you to put up these threads where you want 10000-15000 users to join.

What needs to be clear is What happens if 15000 ppl dont join? How will these users that do join know if 15000 ppl joined? You just expect them to start sending you the bitcoin on the 5th? You gonna refund them their pennies when 15000 ppl dont join?

We will start the competition when we know who will join. So I request whoever wishes to join to reply with the codeword "BITCOINFAUCET" and I will add him to the list and update it on this thread.

Once 7500 members join we will start the competition

19  Economy / Services / Re: Competition | Winner will be rewarded 1 BTC on: March 31, 2017, 08:31:53 AM
This is a faucet competition.

Everyone will collect around 20,000 satoshis and send to me. Who send me the most will recieve the BTC.

minimum attendees for the competition  : 15,000 members

Competition starts at 12:00PM March 31 and ends on 12:00PM April 5  Local time

Anyone Intrested?

you should escrow the funds before any boby sends you any satoshi

aand how will you pick a winner....i suggest a third party for that!

Ok we can choose a third party if you like. Who do you all recommed?
20  Economy / Services / Re: Competition | Winner will be rewarded 1 BTC on: March 31, 2017, 08:30:14 AM
I don't understand how will this work but i will assume you will let us use your bitcoin address while we are claiming from faucet sites? If I'm correct, how will you determine how much exactly each and everyone of us claimed? Anyway, if you can escrow the 1BTC prize i might be willing to join this kind of contest since we don't need to give you are money but only some of our time. please explain this more clearly. thanks

I will not give you my address to use on the faucet sites. Instead you will have to create a new bitcoin address and start collecting from the faucet.
The faucet has a minimum of 20,000 satoshis that can be withdrawn and then once the date of the competition to end comes you will all deposit the cash to my wallet. Thus I can moniter how much each member has send me. The member who has send me the highest satoshi's he will be gifted 1 BTC.

Is it clear?
Any questions?
