361  Economy / Economics / Re: Big risk ,big results. on: October 26, 2019, 07:13:19 PM
A guy bought a very big house, which triggered an argument on a telegram group.
some people were arguing on a telegram group that they guy couldn't have bought the house with only trading profit....some insinuated that he must be into other businesses.
I laughed at their ignorance.
Why? Because I know that even in this present market condition that some skilled traders are making a killing.
I'm not talking about traders who trade with small capital here.
The conclusion is that when you trade with massive capital ,you earn massively.
Your conclusion about trading massive capital will lead you to earn massively is not actually applicable all the time. If you were scammed and you've traded a huge capital there, you won't get a massive earning, as simple as that. The thing here is that you should make sure first that the one you are investing with or trading with is worthy enough for you to take a big risk and hope for the best that you will recieve big rewards. Do not be careless and everything will be worth it in the end and also be very careful with the scams because it would definitely mess up your plans.
362  Economy / Economics / Re: The New World Order with Crypto and Blockchain Technology on: October 26, 2019, 06:43:55 PM
If a New World Order takes effect soon, do you think that all of the world's governments will make use of crypto and Blockchain technology to their fullest potential? Imagine if one world digital currency existed, where every single country makes use of it worldwide. Central Banks will act as nodes and miners of that digital currency, which is backed by the Blockchain. The single, unified Blockchain will prove to become highly scalable for the world, especially since it'll be extremely centralized.

By making use of Blockchain technology for everything, global control will be enforced as it's much easier to track every single transaction made worldwide. Those transactions will not only involve money, but also transfer of ownership, certificates of birth, driver's license, and other services within the global Blockchain system. This may sound crazy, but if you look at the current situation where many Banks and governments have become interested in the technology, it shows us that it will be implemented in every area worldwide within the not-so-distant future.

Nonetheless, what are your thoughts? Huh
The new world order would definitely promote new ways, new regulations and new system. Crypto would definitely play a vital role as the new world order improvements occurs and also we will surely use blockchain technology since the latest era promotes the use of technology for convenience and ease. Banks will soon end up getting unpatronized but crypto will surely revive it as both ends up working in harmony together.
363  Economy / Economics / Re: How can we get people to use bitcoin as a currency? on: October 26, 2019, 06:24:07 PM
How can we get people to use bitcoin as a real currency and not just a quick way to get cash as a lot of people seem to do? When I say currency, I mean the literal definition of currency as something that is used as a medium of exchange.
Even online, there are only a few stores who are accepting it as payment.
I think we encourage them to use bitcoin through showing them the perks of having and using them specially in the new age where technology arises more and more as time passes by. We can also share our experiences with our investment although we are actually experiencing crisis in bitcoin. We should also inform them about the basics and pay attention on telling them the things that should be done and shouldn't be done when you are using bitcoin for their safety, security and knowledge.
364  Economy / Economics / Re: Differences between an investor and common man! on: October 26, 2019, 06:04:16 PM
What are the things differ from mindset of common man with investor, please share your thoughts.

IMO,investors never want to take loans for their consumption like home loan, car loan, etc then just save money and will buy the things for their needs but common man like you and me will buy the things immediately when we get the desire of it using loans but we are paying 20% of interest to those kind of loans.
They both have very different mindset. You can see a common man and an investor inside a car shop. They both have more than enough money to buy a car, even the expensive one. The common man would pick a good car, pay, and ride it home. The investor would think twice and will refuse to buy to earn more and be able to buy more than one car. It is all about patience, a common man lacks that totally for sure but an investor perseveres always to get what he want most of the time.
365  Economy / Economics / Re: Future of Bitcoins - What will happens to BTC on: October 26, 2019, 05:43:06 PM
Future of Bitcoins - What will happens to BTC

When discuss about future of Bitcoin there are lot of Articles on various forums with different opinions and stories. Few of them agree that Bitcoin will remain as it is and has the idea that value of Bitcoin will increase. Some of them say that Bit coins will collapse it's own position soon. What will happen to Bitcoin...?
There are a lot of things already that occured in bitcoin for the past few years. Last year was one of the greatest season bitcoin has ever experienced and we are all craving for that to happen again. In my opinion, considering the surprises bitcoin have shown in the past, I think there's still a huge probability that it will regain its value or even reach the moon soon and all we need to do is believe and be patient about it.
366  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to control your emotions while trading?👨🏼‍💻 on: October 25, 2019, 12:57:37 PM

One of the most popular emotions among traders is a notorious fear of missing out,
or simply FOMO, which picks when the market is high.📈

Watching the price of an asset soaring higher and higher, while out of the deal,
a trader often feels even worse than in case of losses.⚠️

So, what exactly can you do to prevent emotion-connected issues?

Accept the fact that you can’t buy at the lowest and sell at the highest prices;☝🏻

Don’t be looking at the charts all the time;❌

Use a trading plan ruling how to deal with profits and losses;📝

Follow your own plans, don’t compare your results with results of other traders too often.👨🏼‍💼

Trying to be calm would be the first step tocontrol your emotions while trading in order to avoid risky decisions. But it is not thay easy especially at times like this wherein the cryptomarket is showing extreme volatility. In order to be calm, think of what happened before. The market value was very low way back 2010 and also, how high the market prices became last 2017. This simply implies that there would always be a tendency for the market to recover no matter how bad the situation become.
367  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: HELP! I want to invest but don't know which and how. is DigiByte ok? on: October 24, 2019, 11:46:17 AM
im 18 years old and have $100 (Canadian) that I would like to invest. im not looking for a quick buck or anything, doing this just to see how it is investing in cryptocurrency. upon research, I came upon DigiByte and was wondering if this is a good investment for the long run? ive been following for the past 2 days and it has gone up in value and then down again. if this is not a good investment I would love to hear of others. thank you  Tongue
You came when the market became more complicated than before.Investing at this moment would be a huge risk because of the market behavior we are seeing right now. Investing right now would either give you huge profit someday, once recovery take place, or huge loss if you would be investing to the wrong crypto. The problem is lack of assurance on when will recovery take place. Given such situation, I do highly suggest investing to huge cryptos such as BTC, LTC, XRP, and the likes. These coins ould be less risky to invest.
368  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin volatility here to stay? on: October 24, 2019, 11:23:19 AM
I am a strong believer in HODL. I expected bitcoin volatility decreases as time goes by, I totally didn't expect such big price change in the past several days.

Is bitcoin volatility here to stay and not decrease?
Volatility means lack of consistency, from this, we could say that downfall will someday end. The only problem here in this industry is that, no one knows when will recovery occur. This seems more of a waiting game; those who would be intimidated and selling their cryptos early, would lose and those who won't will have a chance to earn profit someday. So maybe, the situation only challenges us to be tough at times of such. So just wait and be mindful of the decisions you are going to make.
369  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will You Support Or Have You Supported A Coin That Makes A Comeback on: October 24, 2019, 10:41:22 AM
We have thousands of coins in the market right now, and thousands of them are dead coins do you have a coin that you've supported than turn dead and making a comeback, and will you support a coin that you've invested and become a dead coin and making a comeback.
mine was Xtrabyte it becomes a deadcoin, but adopted by a new developer and it becomes profitable.
I have trust with the coins I'm holding such as XRP, LTC, BTC, and the likes along with other coins having prices close to zero. These coins are not yet dead but the decrease on its market value from the previous year is enough for me to sell it already but I choose not to. I have witnessed what happened before, when the market value of cryptos were very low and when the prices are at their peak. I am well aware of the cryptos' true nature. This made me stick with the plan of holding until the prices recover.
370  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My Selection of coins, your thoughts? on: October 24, 2019, 09:17:45 AM
Hi All,

i have been buying a little crypto since Sept 2017, not much but some.

I have invested in the following coins and was curious to know what you guys think of my portfolio? Can i get rid of some coins or add?

1) BTC
2) NEO
3) WAVES
4) VET
5) LINK
6) ETN
7) KCS
8 ) UTK
9) DAG
10) XBY
11) REBL

Appreciate your responses.

Good taste I would day, might also consider LTC and XRP on your list. What's sad is the market situation we are currently seeing. Those coins in your list are indeed promising but I am afraid how would the market behavior affect the prices of those cryptos. At this moment, recovery still is blurry and investing would be a bit risky. Holding would be more advisable in my opinion. I have holdings and some are having prices close to zero. I am not letting go of these tokens.
371  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WHAT HAPPENED WHILE I WAS GONE? on: October 24, 2019, 08:36:44 AM
I have been gone for so long due to my hectic schedule at the university, but since I have graduated already and I have taken my board exam I am now back here! Finally.

I have noticed how altcoins I own before depreciate so bad. I even have two or more kind which up to now have no value. Is the market tthat bad already? I mean, I can actually read threads here but ofcourse getting direct feedbacks from all of you who stayed all through out the time I was not around would be very helpful. Please help me learn about the new environment of cryptos now. Thanks.
This is how bad the market situation became from being at its peak on the previous years. Despite of the high expectations the majority created, things still went the opposite way around. Same with you, most of my holdings, especially alts, are having value close to zero and selling it won't be a help due to the gas fee. I have no choice but to endure seeing the market prices struggle and to patiently wait for a miracle to occur and for recovery to take place.
372  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin down on: October 24, 2019, 07:29:50 AM
Bitcoin is back down to $ 7500 and altcoin is also following Bitcoin, is this to buy BTC when it is going down badly or waiting for the price of $ 7,000,
That would depend on how would you trust the crypto market as an investor. If you are not new in this industry, you should have seen how low its market value was, couple of years before. You should also witnessed how high the prices were, last 2017. From such scenarios you should have an idea on what to do at this moment whether to invest or not. You know how risky it is to put huge money in crypto. It is naturally volatile and determining when exactly the ups and downs would occur, is impossible.
373  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Huge rewards, less value or Less reward, big value on: October 24, 2019, 06:50:51 AM
There have been a lot of posts questioning the rewards of campaigns in recent time, complaints about dev and team giving fewer rewards for campaigns. Many have eyes but cannot see, what is the use of huge rewards with no value in the future why you can be giving fewer rewards that will grow into something big if you can hodl, I will rather participate in a campaign with less reward and huge prospect than wasting my time overloading my portfolio with useless coins that will take me nowhere. If you really want to benefit from crypto, think less of what any new project can bring you new, think more of what you stand to gain in the future, be part of a good project. Don't be deceived by the promise of huge rewards that will deprive you of the future benefits which quality project can give to you. If you invest your time in good project today, even if the rewards look small, if you can hodl then future is certain. Be ready to sacrifice your today for your tomorrow.
This was more likely what happened last 2017. Right now, eitherways, no matter how huge the token allocation or rewards in a project, the market value would more likely fall upon being listed on the market. The bottomline right now is the market behavior. It highly affects the outcome of a project or coin perhaps, for a long run. This is also the reason why some investors are not into projects right now. Just be patient still and wait for positive changes in the market.
374  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty hunters needs to start respecting themselves on: October 24, 2019, 06:23:13 AM
Bounty hunters please start claiming your worth, do not go around promoting bounty projects that has too low allocation, i was surfing around on this forum today and i saw new bounty projects that have allocation worth of 1000dollars and they even have separate campaigns, why are people promoting such projects? you are the ones responsible for how developers are treating bounty hunters, there is nothing wrong if you decide not to work for penny... Even some airdrops on this forum has 8$ worth of allocation, just imagine that
Way back 2017, just correct me if I'm wrong but as far as I remember, the lower the allocation in a project, the higher its market value would become compared to other projects having larger token allocation. But things could go different because of the market behavior at this moment. What happens nowadays is that, the market value of the tokens are falling in a sudden upon being listed on exchanges.
375  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When altcoin season? on: October 24, 2019, 06:00:14 AM
And why? Running late on crypto news last few weeks. Any good new coins on markets?
Actually, there are many promising cryptos to mention. There are many new projects which are gaining popularity in this industry but what concerns the investors the most is the msrket behavior. Many investors do think that this is not the right time to invest on new cryptos being listed on exchanges. They do prefer investing to those cryptos which are on the market for years already because these coins are having a higher tendency to recover from the market situation.
376  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's up with Ethereum? on: October 24, 2019, 05:30:34 AM
The market is dull but most of us expected ETH to outperform like it did in first quarter of 2018 post bull run when every crypto coin were going down and even the value of bitcoin was dumped but ETH was steady for a while and not sure why ETH is under hibernation mode nowadays. What might be the reason we don't see much movement in the price of ETH? I know all the altcoins are down but ETH is not same as them but I am unable to figure out the reason why ETH is struck.
This is simply a part of the market's nature. No matter how stable a crypto is, given that its market value is determined by demand, and volume, it should not be surprising to know and see how ETH's market value is also affected by the negative market behavior given that majority of the cryptos's prices are also falling at this moment. The best thing is to be patient at times like this and to wait for the market to recover someday.
377  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Expectation And Reality In The Current Situation on: October 23, 2019, 01:41:15 PM
When 2019 started you have a lot of expectation especially when the price is moving up again from a very long bear trend, you expect that the price will reach another all-time high this year, because of a lot of great news like the Facebook coming in the market.

I'd like to ask the community, is your expectation close to the reality that we've experiencing right now?

Obviously, the reality is the total opposite of the expectation of the majority . Well same thing happened before due to how high the market value of the cryptos became last 2017. For this year, expectations of a "comeback" I think, is due to frustrations since the market value of cryptos are falling for months already. There are many investors who have gave up with the situation and we just cannot blame them for doing so, since it is them who are losing.
378  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What kind of Altcoins have a future? on: October 23, 2019, 12:47:22 PM
The market for Altcoins has been bad recently, and many Altcoins have died and lost a lot of money. What kind of Altcoins do you think will die?thanks for sharing
There are many to mention, there are lot of promising projects in the market but due to the negative market behavior I would not suggest invedting to those coins. Why? old coins or cryptos which are not new to the market or those which have already established huge name in the market, would have a bigger chance to overcome the continuous downfall. ETH, BTC, LTC, XRP, and the likes are the coins I am referring to. I would prefer investing to these coins at this moment than those which are just new in thid industry.
379  Economy / Economics / Re: Don't spend bitcoin. Not now. on: October 22, 2019, 01:33:28 PM
Not only Bitcoin but all cryptos on your wallet. The situation should not affect your decisions as an investor. The market is indeed scary at this moment but if you are well aware of what is the true nature of cryptos, you should not be durprised of the situation we are seeing right now. Selling would save you a little from losing more but it would also cut your chance to get over your loses and earn profit once recovery take place.
380  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Bitcoin is not that good as currency? on: October 22, 2019, 01:04:17 PM
Just to make it simple, the main issue about Bitcoin and other cryptos as a currency, is market price volatility. The market value is not stable which would be a problem, for it to be a currency. A currency is meant to promote equality in the world market. This I think, is the main issue why many countries still do not accept cryptos as the mode of payment. Maybe, if it would be more stable, it will result for other countries to adopt this system.
