Hi, anyone having app crash issues?

thanks!

Hi, as far as I used, there is no specific app crash issues over here. If I were you, I would update it to 0.14.0 without any worry.
482  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it possible for any altcoin to grow bigger than Bitcoin? on: March 25, 2017, 11:40:23 PM
Ethereum can.  Especially if a HF happens.

LONGGGGGGGGGG shots: NEM, PIVX, ZCash

I don't agree with you. Those you counted up there were pumped like x2 x3 just because of the hard fork rumors of Bitcoin. Some people shifted their money from BTC to those altcoins. When the rumors were cleared, pumped altcoins will face a hard dump, I think.

You should have calmed down to get help out. Complaining does not mean that you'll get a quick response. For your question, the answer is NO.

Investing in 10 different altcoins doesn't make sense to me instead I will invest some time in doing good research and after understanding the current situation will prefer to invest only in one single coin from where I will definitely get some good returns and you cannot expect good profits in quick time and you need to have patience if you really want to make good profits from it.

We cannot say that this always works. It is not that easy to predict one altcoin to make your investment by only figuring out the current situation or searching about it. If you diversify your risk with different altcoins, this could also make a good return to you.
485  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do miners really think destroying Bitcoin will make them rich? on: March 25, 2017, 11:09:24 PM
i REALLY dont think people understand how mining works..

for one, its NOT THE MINERS that set the fee.. or choose to mine a certain fee, or really do anything..

everyone in this thread is saying MINERS this and MINERS that.. but, they should be saying MINING POOLS..

its the POOLS that set everything up.. and YES YOU CAN START YOUR OWN MINING POOL.. if you get enough miners on it, you can set it do mine zero fee tx's

Antpool should hear from you! They want to make a separation (fork) in bitcoin just to gain the certain control of that. For this purpose, they create delays and high fees which totally are not fair for the bitcoin community.
486  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How to know what altcoins will be listed on Poloniex? on: March 25, 2017, 11:00:00 PM
Is there really such way? I don't think so, you can just follow up the forum, users' comments and altcoin news. This may give you a hint, sometimes.

If there is such way, then let us know that Smiley

The price of bitcoin now was 982$, which means its a good time for us to buy and hold. Because bitcoin was such a good investment to do so. And aside form that it can be use as money transfer, very safe and secured, easy to use and its decentralized.
I agree with you, In these days, It's a good time to buy some bitcoin (investing in bitcoin), Because as we saw, The bitcoin price fall and now it's under 1000$, According to preev. Currently 1 btc = 954,2$. It's nice price to people start buy some bitcoins. For me i will wait for 900$ to buy.

It was even around 890$ this morning. Then it showed a sharp increase above 950$ after that descent. When you have time to let your money hang out with bitcoin for a while, this could be a good investment. I guess.
488  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do the miners control the network or the nodes? on: March 25, 2017, 10:38:39 PM
No one node or group of nodes controls the network. That is the nature of a decentralized network.

  • A miner controls which transactions go into his block, but cannot control what transactions go into other blocks.
  • A node (including miners) controls what transactions are relayed to other nodes, but cannot control what transactions other nodes relay.
  • A node (including miners) controls what what blocks are added to its copy of the block chain, but cannot control what blocks are added to other nodes' copies of the block chain.
  • A node deciding which blocks are added to its block chain, gives value to the block rewards in its chain.

Nobody could have explained it way better.  Smiley

In addition, to me, hard fork attempts such as BTU only aim to centralize the currency so that they could have more control of it. I don't think they really wanna solve the issues which BTC has faced.

If you're making internet marketing, the answer is to pay someone and get paid globally in minutes or hours.  Wink
