It appears to be the end of the road for cryptocurrencies in India. Finance minster Arun Jaitley, in his budget speech today (on Feb. 01), stated that the government will do everything to discontinue the use of bitcoin and other virtual currencies in India. What I don't understand is, why will you get it bought by someone else and again ship it to you when you can buy it yourself directly. Even if you don't have a card, there are many exchanges which provide you with virtual cards and are okay for online purchases.
Unfortunately most cards I've tried have low limits and I have exhausted all of them. As for the other problem, I have no intention to scam anyone - also, PayPal and card are both entirely reversible payment methods. Also, with escrow, you can't really go wrong. Use localbitcoins or something, and sell BTC for cash. you can always lie about receiving the wrong product or none at all. The only way i see this working is the escrow receiving the BTC as well as the macbook checking that everything is fine and then forwarding the package to you. Edit: Also with verified bitwala card you can spend as much as you'd like in day. I guess I'm just not comfortable sending sensitive documents to shady companies. Given, there are certainly some risks. If anyone is willing to take this risk they are free to PM me. If you prepaid with BTC , that not loan, or you plan use BTC only as collateral and paid with something other? In any case, I will not be able to perform any operation before 1th. Aug. I doubt that you'll get it back. Maybe another patron got it and not the restaurant itself. If that happened don't expect to get it back. Or the restaurant people split it among themselves, that's also possible.
Consider also the cost of shipping and that reward you are offering. It might be more expensive than the items you lost.
If those things are very important lets say its included with his legal documents and stuffs then it would still really worth to pay up the expense but if those are just things cost $100 in total then i guess its not really wise to get those things back seeing on the money you will spent on getting it back maybe those things are important. Not THAT important, it was just makeup that I can't get elsewhere and I would really love to have it back. |
