241  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do Altcoins really have a future? on: April 14, 2018, 12:12:06 AM
Altcoins also have a bright future ahead, though there may be only few that we can really say is a good investment, we had already seen what bitcoin had went through and now bitcoin is much accepted because there are regulations and full support of the community, however for altcoins, it will be dependent on the design of the dev on how they want their altcoins to be, some wants it to be POS, POW or  both, then the mission-vision of the company should also be accpeted by a lot of people in order to create anhuge community, in which the coins will be used, there will be a lot of factors on how the coin then would be kept alive and be recognized by all, if you come to look at ETH, and other ETH based coins, there are coins that are already considered dead due to lack of participation of the community, still those coins have value, and at the moment that bitcoin had reached it highest peak, there is no doubt that altcoins will take over and it will depend in the support of the community whether or not the project will succeed.
242  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 22 European Nations Form New Blockchain Partnership on: April 13, 2018, 11:39:28 PM
This partnership only brings legitimacg to the use of bitcoin as currency, not only that bitcoin will be recognized as an asset it will also open new heights for bitcoin, thoug there maybe pros and cons with this decision, one positive outlook will be, bitcoin will help those countries in Europe to get rid of their debt, but will also help other countries on how bitcoin should be used and it will be no longer known as a mode of payment in the deepweb, the negative side that I see is that, by regulating bitcoins they might also control other countries on how to use bitcoin, just like what had haplened in the european union, theh wanted to control countries rather than helping them when times of need, still this move will help alot of people to understand what bitcoin is and why there is anhuge number of people using bitcoin, though there are a lot of FUDs out there.
243  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do people keep saying BTC is dead?! on: April 13, 2018, 09:13:01 PM
Those people who are saying that bitcoin is dead, seems.to be the same people that were trapped in the bull trap last year, no one had expected it to come the soonest, but people are alrrady anticipating since therr has been a lot of FOMOs back then, but now people wants to see bitcoin to go down becuase they have loss alot of money and were trapped last year, we should also take into consideration those people who had not even invested in bitcoin yet they show people that they know more about bitcoin that those who really does,  if you take a broader look at it, this seems to be crab mentality, because they were left out during the start of bitcoin and now they want others to still be like then and not to be succssful, thus the reason a lot of people are saying bitcoin is dead because they loss a lot or they don't want anyone to get involved, simply because they cannot understand what bitcoin ks and what is invrsting all about.
244  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: invest only in bitcoin? on: April 13, 2018, 09:07:08 AM
It is up to you, if you will only invest in bitcoin and you think you will gain more, go ahead, there is nonharm in doing so, you might get fortune out of it, but do not just focus on bitcoin alone, there is already a huge market for altcoins, and not only that, there is a huhe space in the market for altcoins to grow, however, you will need a good understanding on how the market moves, there are times when bitcoin goes up, all altcoins go down and vice-versa. Your knowledge in trading will help you win in the market,  and focusing in judt one cryptocurrency will only limit your growth, just like in the stock market, you should learn how to diversify, so that in any case that you see bitcoin going down, one or more of your altcoins is going up, do not just focus on beating the inflation in fiat, also focus on how you can win in the market, be it bullish or bearish.
245  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: More traders.... Good or not? on: April 13, 2018, 02:55:25 AM
There is always two sides of the coin, for this one the good thing about having  more traders, is the value of the coin you're hodling will increase further due to supply and demand, bitcoin's price will also be affected it will rise depending on the need of people, still we need to burnn other coins in order to keep the market healthy, however the bad thing about having more traders, one is network congestion, in which, it had happened last year, transaction fess had increased because people are trading simultaneously in bitcoin, then there is the devaluing of the coin due a lot of hodlers, your coin maybe high in value, but if it is not being burnt or being used, it will stay on an x price but will just remain there, since no is using it, it becomes more of a liability than an asset, aslo more traders mean more scammers, we need to know who we trust in trading, not only the individual but the exchange itself.
246  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Exchange or Wallet? on: April 12, 2018, 10:20:00 PM
If you would want to do day trading it is ok to keep you coins in an exchange, since it will be much easier for you ton exchange them in the platform, you can also see how much it went up or down, however exchanges also needs to update their wallet from time to time and there might be instances wherein you cannot sell your coins due to the wallet being suspended, it maybe because of an update in the system or the coin itself, but if you are planning to HODL for a long time and your coin is a POS, I would suggest to use the wallet instead of exchanges,  but be sure to secure your wallet at all times and keep updating. Both wallet and exchanges have their pros and cons, it will be up to you which one you will choose for storage.
247  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading without knowledge on: April 12, 2018, 08:33:05 PM
Trading without knowledge is dangerous for your finances, just think of this, it is like letting a plumber do surgeries on you, when you are in the hospital, as if you are destroying something that keeps you going. Before you trade you need to gain knowledge first, then the experience will follow, it is far different from the saying that experience is the best teacher, in trading you need to survive first in order to experience along the way, if you also do not invest in your knowledge, it might cost you alot of money, since there is a high chance that you will loose rather than earning, it is not a 50/50% chance, sincethere are alot of coins to choose and you will need to consider the trading pairs and the market is volatile for both.
248  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Newbie should trade or not? Please give me idea. on: April 12, 2018, 11:27:18 AM
If you already know the INs and OUTS of trading, I encourage you to trade since it will give a lot of experiences, but if you are just trading because of the trends or hypes, at first you will see that you are gaining but i the long run, the problem will be when to sell, since that is always a common mistake of newbies, once they gain a little, they want to gain more, what you need to do is to do a lot of research first, when it comes to cryptocurrency there is a trading pair, your altcoin and bitcoin, if you do not check both, and just look at the data and it seems that the value of your altcoin is higher and has gone up by 100%, but the value of bitcoin had declined remember to sell, but if the increase of bitcoin is much higher than the value of your altcoin and you sell it because it seems to have gone up, there is a percentage that you have loss some amount of bitcoin, but if you are going to hodl your altcoin for a long time before you trade it, make sure it is stable, since altcoins are being delisted in exchanges, still acquire much knowledge first rather than believing someone else jn the trade, your knowledge will always help you win even in bearish markets.
249  Economy / Marketplace / Re: What will happen when facebook gets replaced by blockchain?? on: April 12, 2018, 10:46:39 AM
If you are referring to the data of facebook to be in a blockchain, there is a possibiliy, however there is a huge amount of data that they need consider, which I think will become more contreversial wehen a breach happens,  if we  considere what had happened to facebook, wherein people have their own discretion on how to protect their data, yet there are outside factors that had given away their data, but when it comes to blockchain, just like what they are doing in healthcare now, insurance companies are sharing information of their members, in case they would want to transfer from their health insurance to another, in a way will also violate their rights. For facebook, if they will use.blockchain technology, it will be faster, however, those who owns the data, should create more advanced security and not just depending on their account passwords.
250  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO Is Really A Good Investment or Not? on: April 11, 2018, 10:30:26 PM
ICOs are good investments, if you know how to invest on them, it is not just plainly buying coins, there are ways in order for you to gain more. There are POW ICOs, in which, it is much like bitcoin, you mine the coins and let it grow in value for a certain amount of time or you can si.ply buy them on exchnages, there are also POS coins, in this case, you will need an x amount of coins stored in your wallet, in order for you to gain rewards, and the rewards also comes in the coins you have, it can be 100% reward per year or month, depending on the dev, then there are coins which is a combination of the two and lastly you can do MN, in this casr you are not the miner but you are like polishing the coins for the market, you can also get great rewards when doing so. Invevsting in ICOs is fun, it will just depend on which coin you wouldnwant to invest on, better do your own research first on the ICO and more importantly on the background of the dev, since there will always be scammers.
251  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Sell ethereum or hold ? on: April 11, 2018, 09:15:00 PM
I would prefer to HODL ETH as of the moment and accumulate more, since there is a huge possibility that it can surpass its ATH and also be high as bitcoin today. We should not forget that ETH is second to bitcoin compared to its price and value and if you didn't got a chance to buy bitcoin below the 1k mark, you can still have a chance with ETH, though it may take a while, still it is a good investment, we can compare ETH to silver and BTC to gold, in time, we will see both investments will be high in value and might cost a fortune, this is not just hyping ETH,  since there are a lot of ethereum based coins out there, ETH will be much more valuable in the future.
252  Economy / Economics / Re: What's more important when starting a business, Big Idea or Big Capital? on: April 11, 2018, 10:49:15 AM
Both capital and idea ate important in starting a business, since you will need to outline everything plus you will need to allocate resources in order for your business to keep running and that requires a huge capital, since you may want to consider of not having any income for three to six motnhs but the business will keep on going, it may not be what you wanted, but in order to show people your idea, you need to keep it running, aside from the two aforementioned, you may also want to consider your strategy and your business plan, in order for you to innovate from time to time to make a stable strategy.
253  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Soros is buying crypto on: April 11, 2018, 07:56:35 AM
If Soros is going to invest in cryptocurrency, surely this might affect the price of that crpytocurrency as well as bitcoin, but if it is specifically on bitcoin, we could never be too careful, since in his statements back then, he doesn't agree with bitcoin and think that bitcoin is a bubble and would die in the process, and that seems to be hard to see as of now. Just like any other investors, he might want to buy cryptocurrencies at its lowest, but I doubt that he will enter such volatile investment, knowing that he is a hedgefund manager and it is a different ball game for him, still being cautious when it comes to Soros, is a must, he knows how to bring down the value of currencies.

255  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: India closes doors for Crypto Currency on: April 09, 2018, 08:33:07 PM
I don't think that india will totally close it's doors for cryptocurrencies, a scenario like that already happened with china, and still china today stills accepts cryptocurrencies, what may happen, is that they will try to regulate cryptocurrencies, to protect the people from scams, it is a fact that indians are good good at technology, this might be the reason, why they intend to stop it or hold it for now. We should also consider the fact that the population of india is high, that means the government will be needing a lot of manpower and technology to track a scam, this might just be another china incident.
256  Other / Politics & Society / Re: How to solve world hunger ? on: April 09, 2018, 12:10:56 AM
What we can do here, is for governments to stop companies that are polluting the planet, they are harmful not only to us, but to animals as well, if we can do that, we can start a new ecosystem for plants and animals, in return, we can have food on the table, big companies are just making an illusion thay they are helping the planet, but in reality they are not, we csnnot solve world hunger just by dropping aids like what the US is doing, we should focus for long term.
257  Economy / Economics / Re: Crisis is Coming on: April 05, 2018, 11:00:47 PM
I do not see any crisis, it is just mere negotiations and talks between companies, we must not be fooled by the illusion they are trying to show, that there will be a global crisis, just becuase US is involved, do not get too westernized, keep in mind that the world is not just composed of US, there is a reason why countries want to have their own money or cryptocurrency, it is because the downfall of the petrodollar may happen soon, but as far as things goes, there is no crisis at all.
258  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Still HODLing? There must be better way! on: April 04, 2018, 09:21:41 AM
If you still see potential from bitcoin hodl at this time and accumulate as much as you can, since bitcoin will be bouncing back soon. There are already a lot of innovations concerning bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, only time will tell, when the rise of bitcoin will happen again and as things goes, it might happen in the near future, though we don't still see it on the charts.
259  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Will China ban bitcoin completely? opinions on: April 02, 2018, 11:36:15 AM
I do not see any reason why would china ban bitcoin, since it isna legit digital currency, what they are trying to do is to regulate digital currencies and get rid of scam ICOs, since there are a lot of chinese who can easily create a digital currency of their own and just ran away once they get enough profit from it. As of now, there is no proof that china will ban bitcoin.
260  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH next to BTC? on: March 30, 2018, 08:52:13 PM
As far as things goes, ETH could replace bitcoin in a sense that people who had invested in bitcoin, will keep on looking back to its historical data, and if we take a close look, it seems that ETH is also experiencing what bitcoin had experienced before at its price as of now around 380 usd, investors might take advantage of this to have more capital gains, since bitcoin is being coinsidered by many to still be expensive, even though it had declined more than 10000 usd from its ATH. We might see a shift in the near future, though bitcoin's value will not be zero, ETH might rival bitcoin when it comes to it.
