1  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Common Types of Bonuses Offered by Online Casinos on: July 04, 2022, 10:53:50 PM
I recently won a free spin bonus on Livecasion.io, the signature campaign that I am in. Though I have been offered a type of bonus(welcome bonus) some time ago, I was excited about this particular bonus for two reasons. First, it was my first time getting a free spin bonus. And secondly, because I won a fair amount of money from the spin.

For every gambling beginner, here is a list of the common types of bonuses online casinos offer.

Common Types of Bonuses Offered by Online Casinos
I think you forgot the one you are promoting in your signature : the cashback/rakeback bonus.
Or if you didn't miss it in which category would you place this type of bonus precisely? I think it's one of the most popular bonus among gamblers because it can significantly change the overall RTP expected. And it's always appreciated to get a reload even if it's a small amount when you just lost all your funds.
2  Economy / Gambling / Re: ➡➡ STAKE.COM customer service cheated on weekly boost on: July 04, 2022, 06:09:34 PM
As the members above explained to you, you cannot complain about the free money, this is just good faith, but if you face a problem, for example, if they confiscate your money for no reason, then you can file a lawsuit there in the accusations section.
You can also write in their thread and ask why the bonus level has been reduced. Maybe there is something wrong with the system or you don't deposit regularly.
I don't think it's up to someone advertising a casino in his signature to say if another member can or cannot "complain" about it. It sounds you are trying to silence a real complaint from a customer of your casino on the forum.
Bonuses are mainly used by casinos to attract people (look my signature if you don't believe me), because everyone look at that when they choose a casino and take that into account before deciding to spend their money there. It's not just "free money" given in good faith, the casinos expect a ROI by doing that. Then if a casino finally doesn't send the promised bonus, it's dishonest and shady. And people are free to be angry with that and to inform the community about the issue.

Quote
Fraudulent Force Close
An invalid unilateral close of a channel, caused by broadcasting a commitment transaction that does not represent the newest channel state agreed upon by the participants.
If the invalid close is not detected by the other peer within the to_self_delay window, the malicious peer will get away with the fraudulent close and may steal some of their peer's money in the channel
If the invalid close is detected by the other peer or by a Watchtower service, the other peer can use proof that the commitment was revoked, called a commitment revocation secret key, to create and broadcast a penalty transaction that punishes the peer who attempted a fraudulent force close.

I’m curious about the result of your parlay bet, Does your parlay completely voided because of this specific match? This is really sucks if that’s the case but remember sportsbook should protect too there business that’s why they made this kind of terms.
This is correct analysis on both bet types that OP brought up. Voiding unfinished game is the most common to handle this kind of situation but I have no idea if the parlay it belong will be voided too or payout without the odds of voided game.Although I’m unsure if the whole parlay is right to be voided for this result since this fall under special cases but still it depends on the terms and condition of the casino with regards to there game will govern on this matter.
No, on sportsbet when a leg is voided, it doesn't make the whole parlay to lose or to be voided. The odds of the leg are just replaced by 1.00 instead of the initial odds. On the picture of the betslip provided by OP, we can see his parlay had finally won (0.909 ETH)

12  Economy / Gambling / Re: risk of kyc on crypto casinos ? on: July 03, 2022, 07:04:03 PM
Nitrobetting, Betcoin, Playbetr, Freebitcoin are sites that never ask for KYC unless you use a VPN.
I was talking about Nitrogen Sports, not Nitrobetting. This is 2 different platforms even if they belong to the same company, their ToS and policy are different.
Nobody quoted them but Bitvest and 777coin are also not requiring any KYC to gamble.(Edit : Danydee mentioned 777coin)

Nitrogensports.eu will stop taking action July 6. They are migrating to Nitrobetting.eu. Fully anonymous with bonuses. https://blog.nitrogensports.eu/promotions/announcement-player-migration-from-nitrogen-sports-to-nitrobetting/?utm_source=sendgrid.com&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=website
I wasn't aware of that, thank you for giving me this information. There is no ANN thread for Nitrogen Sports/Nitro Betting? Because I didn't see anything related to that matter recently. It's a little bit sad unfortunately because AFAIK policies of nitrogen sports were less strict than Nitro betting and the website was faster to load and easier to use from what I could notice.

14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: My questions regarding wallet on: July 03, 2022, 06:43:00 PM
You can use devices as cold wallet without having to sacrifice them, that was my point.
If you are no longer using the device as a cold wallet and have emptied all the wallets it was storing, then sure, you could put the WiFi card back in and connect it up to the internet again. You would have to start from scratch again in terms of airgapping and formatting the device if you wanted to use it as a cold wallet again though. You can't just reconnect and disconnect on a whim and think your device is still safe.
The goal of an air gapped computer/device is to be usable even if infected/compromised. You will never be 100% sure your computer is safe because nobody can guarantee that your operating system and the chips of your computer are free from any backdoor. It's ok to import datas into an air gapped computer, what is wrong is to export outside uncontrolled datas.
15  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: [TUTORIAL] - How to create a multi-signed wallet on Electrum on: July 03, 2022, 11:02:43 AM
Guys, thank you so much for the comments and advice.
This is one of the first topics I create outside of the portuguese board.
There is a lot of important content on the portuguese board that deserves to be translated and shared with others, as this may help some members who do not have a solid knowledge of Bitcoin/Blockchain and other things.

This is a good idea, I'll translate some relevant topics and post more often on some specific boards, especially on the "Beginners & Help" board

@o_e_l_e_o, noted, thanks a lot for the corrections, and sharing some notes with me.
I believe that with these observations I can improve my English and also avoid making mistakes in translation.

@RickDeckard ok thank you very much and I will improve the topic soon.

@Pmalek, no problem, I just translated this topic (portuguese > english)
Your tutorial is pretty useful and you are even recommending it to beginners but unfortunately your pictures are still in portuguese language. I don't think it's very convenient for beginners because we can't directly translate text in pictures with a translator and they could do mistakes because of that. RickDeckard seems to think the same as me and he took time to shoot those screens in english localization, you should incorporate them or take your own screens in english but it would be better to update your tutorial before recommending it to beginners IMO.

Brothers and Sisters on the forum I need your help, I don't have money for a hardware wallet and all I have left is android wallet, the problem is fear of copying my private key into something else, I have come to realise that clicking on COPY on your phone can be dangerous, where to decide to PASTE can be unsafe too, for those who aren't using hardware wallet how are you doing it? What is the safe procedure with mobile wallet users.
If you have a tablet or a computer that you don't need to connect to internet you can use them as cold wallet. You will use them to sign your transactions with the seed they store and use your smartphone to create unsigned transactions in "watch only" mode and to broadcast transactions signed by your cold device. It's very easy with Electrum, you can also make a multisig wallet with your cold device as co-signer, it's almost the same thing as explained in the thread of gagux123 quoted above. If you need to connect your cold device, you will have to send your funds to another seed before and to never use this seed again.
17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: My questions regarding wallet on: July 03, 2022, 10:07:19 AM
If you want to safely store your funds in a mobile phone, it's better to use an old one as a cold wallet.
I don't think it is possible to turn a mobile phone in to a true cold wallet. Even on flight mode it still receives and transmits data via a number of channels.
Which ones are you thinking about precisely please? If the sim card is out of order/removed and if there is no connectable wifi network where you are I don't understand how a smartphone could leak a seed outside neither any data.

You can also do the opposite : using an old laptop or tablet that you won't connect till their seed is in use
Cold storage should never connect to the internet, even for a moment. If it does, then it is no longer cold storage.
If there is not anymore funds in the seed they store and if you don't plan to use this seed again (like anybody should do) I don't understand what risk there is in using them again. You can use devices as cold wallet without having to sacrifice them, that was my point.
18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: My questions regarding wallet on: July 03, 2022, 09:13:23 AM
Dear Members,

I have a few questions regarding wallet to store crypto bitcoin over $20k and other altcoins as below.

1) I use a trust wallet to store crypto. My question is how safe it is to store over $20k coins? Yes, of course, I take care of keeping my mobile safe and virus/malware free so never click on any unknown link as know about his as i am in IT field.

There are many YouTubers who always recommend for hardware wallet to store coins valued over $10k but i have following questions regarding hardware wallet?

2) What if I lost or damage my hardware wallet? Do i need to buy same hardware wallet and restore my coins? or can use private keys in any other online wallet and get my coins back?

3) What if the hardware wallet is damaged or corrupt?

4) Instead of hardware wallet can I keep the separate phone to store my coins in wallet app like trustwallet and keep disconnecting from the internet unless i want to do transaction. Is this a better choice?
A hardware wallet is safer than a software connected wallet because it works in the same way as a cold wallet. That is to say, it internally signs transactions with its seed and only sends those signed transactions to the computer without exposing the seed.
If you want to safely store your funds in a mobile phone, it's better to use an old one as a cold wallet. That is to say, you should never use it as a phone till your funds belong to the seed in it, you should remove the sim card and only use it in airplane mode (no wifi and even bluetooth connection). It's even better to physically turn off/remove antennas if you can. You can also do the opposite : using an old laptop or tablet that you won't connect till their seed is in use and broadcasting signed transactions with your smartphone.

Thanks to all.

I wanted to cash out to ATM card and someone told me about bitsa card but from some reason it is not compatible with any of my 4 android phones !! I dont want to go into risky deals each time

You can try and do some deals here at bitcointalk. There are some services and P2P trading available at Currency Exchange Board and in case you don’t want to risk any deals, you can ask for an Escrow to make no scam will happen during the trade. Escrow service requires minimal fee but there some trusted users here that will provide that for free.

How this helps you on doing P2P deals.
CMIIW but if he is looking for exchanging USDC against fiat it's certainly more accurate to look at the Altcoins Marketplace. On top of that he can find trustworthy Moroccan members in the Arabic or French speaking local sections. There is even a marketplace section at the french speaking board.

BTW the ANN of Bisq is here if he is looking for https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5230289
