updated thread with MtGox SEPA delays and Bank of America issues.

Update it again. This morning my SEPA transfer arrived. Less than 48h, as always.

Done. But mine didn't, and it's already 6 days.

2 trades in and already over 1 min lag  Roll Eyes

I'm stupid...where are you monitoring lag at?

You can see it on most live charts like ClarkMoody's or Bitcoinity.
In addition, this is the call to check it yourself: https://data.mtgox.com/api/1/generic/order/lag

How come the reported lag by all sites is raising if they are on cooldown?
Any thoughts on that?

I keep reading the title as Reptilia(n) public diary

As you are not the only one to say this <sigh>, please tell me what this reptilian thing is? I have a pleasure to not know anything at all what you are talking about..

I suppose it is because the characters resemble the word "reptilian", those lizard-like things...
My guess is that it is simply your name in the format R. Pietila. Probably *  Roll Eyes

Edited, just in case I nailed that...

Funny how this thread's name is "wall movement tracker".
Everybody is tracking that wall at 76

Respecto al tema fiscal, yo lo he puesto en manos de mis abogados.
Recomiendo a todos los que en algún momento cambien a la divisa de su país que hagan lo mismo.
Luego a nadie le gustan las sorpresas...

Hola Soy nuevo y tengo algunas dudas.

And how would you receive European money? It is waiting 2-3 days again, unless you are doing this in advance or accepting credit cards / paypal...

Something funny happened with my post count; I have made 5 of them, but after deleting some triple posts the count reseted  Huh
Anyway, I have been reading and checking the forums long enough, but never had the need to register until now. I am not some hell of a poster, in fact I am quite lazy unless I have something important to say... would just like to have access to the whole forum in case I need it at some point.

Thank you!

Is a SEPA transfer the same thing as going into a bank and wiring the money across? I sent fom Lloyds TSB in UK direct to the Japanese mt.gox account.... or I have done something slower than that?

If you made the transfer to the Japanese Mt.Gox bank account (at Mizuho Bank Ltd. in Shibuya) then it can be slower in most of the situations. They state 2 to 5 days on the site.
To order a SEPA transfer, you must use the Poland bank account credentials of Mt.Gox. To do so, just choose the option "Euro Bank Transfer (Europe)" when adding funds in your account. The bank and account credentials are on the bottom of that same page. For some banks the BIC [WBKPPLPP] may show "invalid" or something similar. Just add three 'X' before it [XXXWBKPPLPP].

Hope that helps =)

I have had my share of btc-e too in the past.

I do like exchange diversity in the market. I also like how they allow for several different currencies to be traded.
However it was not nice to discover that they only allow to transfer amounts up to 0.01 BTC and you kind of loose what is left on your account, since you cannot trade or transfer it. Right now 0.009 BTC might not be much, but it is still of my property. On top of that, they lack a proper method of transferring traditional currencies.

Give them some time; I expect them to keep improving and play a major role in the near future. Won't recommend them now though...

SEPA transfers take anywhere between 24 and 72 hours. If you are from the EU that is the fastest I can think of.

Also, all 3 of mine (from different banks) took less than 48h.

This has probably been asked many times, but since we're all here to make meaningless posts anyway, what exactly counts as 4 hours of active forum use?

You can check your "time logged" at the top of the forum page.
