1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Samsung To Accept Cryptocurrencies As Payments- Good or Bad? on: September 21, 2018, 10:01:54 AM
That's great! Samsung is a huge industry just like Rolls Royce which now also accepts bitcoins for payments. The more huge industries accepting it, the better for the movements in the markets. If the trend continues then maybe we can expect upwards trend again.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any advice for a newbie? on: September 21, 2018, 09:56:29 AM
Welcome to the club! I think you have a good start. I started with about the same amount and I just kept adding little by little. Don't allow yourself to come to a point of thinking that bitcoin can make you rich overnight. Keep learning first. Don't rush. Just chill.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency to be Taught in Schools? on: September 21, 2018, 09:43:05 AM
Some sort of discussion perhaps is more appropriate than including in the education system itself as a subject because it is not regulated hence there may be legal implications with that. Discussion is okay just to sort of bring awareness to the students.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What about negatives of Crypto? on: September 21, 2018, 09:35:33 AM
Is there anything in this world that does  not have negatives (cons)? Of course there will always be negative aspects in crypto, volatility being one if you are into trading. You have to constantly monitor the price so you will know when to buy or sell. It's just like that but if you focus on the negatives, then everything in your mind will be negative too.
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Founder of Bitcoin on: September 21, 2018, 09:28:23 AM
Bitcoin has already been able to establish itself with the people knowing that the founder is Satoshi regardless of his anonymity so I prefer to have him remain as is. Revealing himself at this point may be too dangerous for himself plus it could have some legal implications too.
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: only rich people can use bitcoin to make a profit ??? on: September 21, 2018, 09:20:28 AM
Of course not. If you invest on bitcoin thru trading, you will most likely earn profit depending on the movements of the market so the question is how much you are going to invest and not if you are rich or not.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Which do you prefer, bank or crypto? on: September 21, 2018, 09:09:22 AM
If you are to choose, which one would you prefer to store your money, banking which is susceptible to fraud like identity theft, lost and stolen cards, ATM withdrawal scams etc., or cryptocurrency wallet which is susceptible to cyberspace scams? Why?
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My Prediction/Fear Was Right!! on: September 16, 2018, 09:16:55 AM
We all know from the beginning that the markets for cryptos are highly volatile, right? I know it's a frustrating time but if you let it get the better of you, you might go insane so just relax and trust that the market will move to our favor soon.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good or bad idea!!!! on: September 16, 2018, 09:13:20 AM
Invest in crypto and learn to feel the movements of the market. Don't rush. It requires patience and understanding and again, there goes the famous saying "Invest only what you can afford to lose."
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Currency is fastest way to get rich ? on: September 16, 2018, 09:08:29 AM
If this will be your goal in joining crypto investment, to get rich fast, I'm afraid that you might be fallen into a trap because you will be reckless and chances are, will forget the basics of avoiding scams. Greed is the root of all evils in crypto investments.
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Anticipation from the future ? on: September 16, 2018, 09:03:31 AM
Yup that's right but it would be much better without the number 1. I feel sorry for those countries banning Bitcoin because I can envision that in the future, bitcoin, along with other cryptos might be the only form of currency left and those who ban it now will have to catch up.
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How does bitcoin affects your emotional and mental aspect of your life? on: September 16, 2018, 08:57:14 AM
In the beginning, I was kinda paranoid about it given the rumors that it's a scam but then it also made me decide to just play it cool meaning, low investments only and I still do the same now. As they say, invest only what you can afford to lose.
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Satoshi Nakamoto's identity revealed ? on: September 16, 2018, 08:45:16 AM
These are all just speculations. We will never know his true identity. Who knows if he is even human? He could be some kind of AI which was supposed to be just an experiment that had been successful. Even then, this is just speculation. If he wanted to have his identity revealed, he would have already done so a long time back.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency prices falling on: September 14, 2018, 11:17:01 AM
We all know that the markets for Cryptos are highly volatile right? It swing downwards, it swings upwards and so are the foreign exchange market. If you notice, USD is quite high now but did you also notice that other foreign currencies are very low? That's just the way it is so take it or leave it.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stop Crying about Crypto! on: September 14, 2018, 11:12:04 AM
I agree! When you entered cryptos, you should have known from the beginning that the markets for it are volatile and that it can have rises and dips. Why whine when it dips and quiet when it rises?
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your first thought in joining cryto? on: September 14, 2018, 11:07:15 AM
When I first joined cryptos, bitcoin to be exact, my first thought is probably what most people thought too. That it's going to make me rich quickly but...I did not have that goal in mind. I mean, I'd like to become rich of course but not "quickly" so  I'm just playing it cool until now. Just little by little investments.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin down Altcoin down on: September 14, 2018, 11:02:13 AM
Based on experience, there seem to be a relationship with the two although there is really no definitive explanation or confirmation about it. You may just notice that if the trend on the other is high, same goes with the other one. My guess is that it's because most of those who holds bitcoin also hold altcoins. Just my two cents.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My Future in Crypto on: September 14, 2018, 10:57:10 AM
If you are a beginner and don't have much funds to stay out of job so you can focus on crypto investment, then it's not a good idea. Like all other investments, it takes time for the ROIs especially with the current trend. Crypto making you rich overnight is a myth. The only thing that I know that can do that is when you win a lottery lol!  Cheesy
19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The reason why Bitcoins is the safest system on: September 14, 2018, 10:50:10 AM
"First of all if you own a bank account in a good bank then you should know that its very hard to hack one's bank account, it's almost impossible unless done due to personal flaws, like sharing your key or bank account details or something , you know the system behind Bitcoins and the system behind banking system is same ."

I beg to disagree on this. I have worked in a global bank for over a decade and while I know that the security measures are extremes, it is not impossible for the accounts to be hacked. Have you actually looked at the statistics of bank frauds over history? Identity theft being on top of the list. In the US alone, there were 16.7 million cases with a cost of $17 billion by the end of 2017. And those are not because of personal flaws. Hacking are done by big time syndicates whether in banking or in bitcoin.
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if someone bought up all the existing bitcoins? on: September 14, 2018, 10:39:59 AM
That does not seem possible even David Gates do not have the intention of buying all the bitcoins even if he can afford it. I don't see any reason why someone would do that. Besides, I don't think it's gonna help the movements of the markets if there is only one person with bitcoins. If I were you, I would not worry about something that does not exist.
