1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: 0.1 BSV Reward - Simple help needed on recovering Blockchain.info backup file on: May 16, 2021, 06:26:15 AM
Try reading the instructions here: https://btcrecover.readthedocs.io/en/latest/Extract_Scripts/#blockchaincom-second-passwords

You basically just run btcrecover with the --data-extract option instead of the --wallet option and specify all the other options (tokenlist, typos etc)... refer: https://btcrecover.readthedocs.io/en/latest/TUTORIAL/ for instructions on the various options you can use for trying to bruteforce the password... when prompted, input the second password "hash" that was extracted and the script will then attempt to bruteforce the password.

There is a blockchain.com specific example here: https://btcrecover.readthedocs.io/en/latest/Usage_Examples/2020-05-08_Recovering_Blockchain_Wallet_Passwords/Example_Recovering_Blockchain_Wallet_Passwords/

and a youtube tutorial here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eS0VUl3w69Y&list=PL7rfJxwogDzmd1IanPrmlTg3ewAIq-BZJ&index=11

Thanks again, I just sent the BSV to your address. Wink

Thank you very much for the guides, could you please Private Message me your "Bitcoin SV" Address?
I was initially planning to pay a 0.1 BSV reward for help here. (not much I know)
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / [SOLVED] 0.1 BSV Reward - Help needed recovering Blockchain.info backup file on: May 16, 2021, 04:41:12 AM
Hi guys,

I have my old blockchain.info wallet backup file "wallet.aes.json"

Here is some part of the file content:
Code:
{"pbkdf2_iterations":5000,"version":2,"payload":"l5wAmAZrWx32WXXvIu6bwjDKhgDDo+yIXkKYt8zfalwlW/6sdFK/NeZCUrIxmAFZT5DIWXV0OE7kc+wHwjn2Nz/rIlS0tJHNUaCQ0cP1HMYhkjqRKghsn5epEoPt/4lAPA=="}

I know my primary password, and part of my secondary password.

I need a tool that can iterate between characters quickly (password is like ~15-20 chars long and I have the first 11 characters, I know it is alphanumeric only, all lowercase)

I have downloaded "btcrecover", ran the tests using this command in Terminal (I don't use Windows OS):
Code:
python run-all-tests.py

The tests are okay, but I'm not sure on how to proceed now?

I tried the script on "extract-scripts/extract-blockchain-second-hash.py" and after entering my correct primary password, here is the output:

Code:
Blockchain second password hash, salt, and iter_count in base64:
...

Now do I use this second password hash somehow or I need to use another method with my "wallet.aes.json"?

Hello,

I was on vacation and when I came back I realized I'm getting an unusually high amount of stakes in Radium wallet,
checking the forum it appears that you've had a hard fork recently.

Is it enough if I just download the new version and replace it with the old one now?
or there are files which I should remove first and download the chain again then import my wallet backup? (the wallet backup is taken 7-8 months ago)

That's the end of cryptocurrencies? My portfolio's value is €2500 less than a month ago and it's still decreasing. I guess the crypto world is over, right? The total market cap has decreased by billions. I was planning to keep everythinf for long term but I guess I will loose everything.

I'm down 7 BTC... finally sold it all this morning but now the market is rising Grin Huh LMAO

save yourself and your money. don't be stupid, get out while you can before the bottom is reached.

don't bet all your money on a "hope" that this market will rebound, it may not.

take your profits and move on.

what profits man, most Poloniex Altcoins (except 4 or 5) are like -50% to -70% in the past 10 days
either the bottom is here or these coins are dead

I think polo f*cked the market when they removed the trollbox,
no one knows what's going on so they just stop buying, whales can't start hype...
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why All Coins Dump? on: July 10, 2017, 01:33:28 PM
This isn't a dump!
it's a f*king market crash...

most of the coins are already dead, I don't think they can recover!
take XVC for example, I sold some at 0.00021000 , re-bought @0.00018000 and @0.00015000. now it's at f*king 0.00008000

and it's not even stopping... we might see worse soon
I kept rebuying and rebuying RADS,PASC,CLAM and a lot more as alts dropped, now I'm out of money and they still drop Grin

bye bye money

Does any pool works?

No pools work as one person has been mining the entire supply for well over a year.

The selfish miner is probably the original dev Nathan Rixham, who scammed people and stole their money, and never paid back his debts. Looks like vindictive sabotage going on to me, he's still around, and wants BTM to fail.

Looks like polo have no reason to keep this coin listed anymore, I think they only put up with the selfish mining as they used the marking system in the troll box.

Why is it that only 1 person can mine BTM? why can't any one else and why devs don't do anything about it?
if you have any real info about this person, can you please share it so we can try some other actions? some of us have a lot of BTM and I'm afraid actions of this guy might get BTM de-listed soon on polo

Can any one please help me?

I'm on an iMac with macOS Sierra 10.12.4 (was on 10.12.3 few days ago but Radium was acting the same)
Radium version: v1.4.5.0

I've been trying to sync my Radium-Qt wallet for more than a week now...
sometimes it downloads very few blocks and stops but 99% of the time it doesn't download anything.

Screenshot:
~edited~
(This is the current state, I've been keeping the wallet open for hours each day. Usually I have 2 or 3 active connections to radium network but sometimes only 1)

P.S. I have XBC / PPC / BTC wallets as well, they all download blocks very quickly every time I open them (so I assume the issue is not from my side).

HI!

Sorry for the issues, there are some syncing inefficiencies that we are working on fixing in the wallet. In the meantime, you can download a blockchain image from https://github.com/JJ12880/Radium_Chain/releases/download/1.0/data.zip.  Extract that to the MAC equivalent of  of %appdata% (where the wallet.dat is) and it should catch you up to a few weeks ago. As always, remember to back up your wallet.dat, if you have any coins in your wallet.

Let me know if that helps!

Justin (jj12880)

Thank you very much, I'm in sync now.

Hi guys,

I hope it's okay to ask here,
but I've been desperately looking to buy a single (1) Pascal address to hold my funds outside the exchange

Can any one who's willing to sell me 1, PM me or Reply?
