Microsoft restores bitcoin payments after ‘working to ensure lower amounts would be redeemable’

AFTER a controversial move which sent shivers through the bitcoin community, the software giant has rethought the “unstable” currency.

Chinese fraudsters English?

Not so much...
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Don't believe the HYPE! BTC trans. confirmed in 22 minutes, BCH took 3 HOURS!!! on: December 23, 2017, 12:32:51 PM
So I decided to do a little test yesterday and send  a BTC transaction and a BCH transaction at the same time.

Just to make it interesting and give BCH an unfair advantage I decided to set the BTC fee at half the reccomended amount, at around 500 sat/byte. The estimated time for confirmation was 25 BLOCKS or more than 14 hours.

Guess how long the low-fee BTC transaction took???

ONLY 22 MINUTES!!!  Grin

Which means that the high fees listed and the unconfirmed transactions (made up of spam from the tiny cabal of Chinese BCH backers) is PURE FUD!

Bitcoin still does fast and cheap transactions and works like a charm.

So then I was waiting for the BCH transaction I sent, WITH THE FULL RECCOMENDED FEE...

I was waiting....

and waiting....

and waiting......

and waiting.......

ahahaha I almost gave up but it eventually got there.

AFTER 3 LONG HOURS!

What a joke. Cheap, instant transactions? HA!

BCH has a tiny, crappy network and a hacked virus-filled "Electron" client that will send your BTC address directly to you-know-who if you don't empty it first.

Oh well. At least we can all dump this Chinese knockoff BCH and get a nice free profit from those suckers trying to pump it up.

Yet another alt-coin fail, bye bye BCH(inese).

5  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-12-20] Bitcoin Lightning Network Is Coming: Test a Transaction Now on: December 21, 2017, 10:19:17 PM
Finally! Everyone who supports Bitcoin in the ongoing war against BCC have been waiting for. Lightening Network will solve all the problems that caused the rise of fraud-coin BCC and decline of The Bitcoin in last few days. This will prove that BCC has nothing new or revolutionizing to offer and BCC will become just another altcoin again.
What I want to ask is how is LN going to be implemented and when. Do we need another fork or LN can be added on top of Bitcoin blockchain so we don't need to change the rules?

I hate that BCC shitcoin with its stuck up community lead by that buffoon Ver. People who are buying into his promises and PR talk must be blind. I'm ready to stay with BTC all the way, no matter what the price of BCC is and will be. All that I want is for the transactions to become fast and cheap again, just like they were a year ago. When this problem gets resolved there's no stopping BTC.

Exactly. And it will happen. Lightning will bring it and the real BTC will become the most important means of exchange in the world. A store of value, a global, instant, digital currency and the asset with the largest market capitalization in history.

6  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-12-07] Lightning Network is a Success! First Bitcoin Transaction Sent. on: December 08, 2017, 11:22:53 PM
This is extremely important news. When implemented it will solve all the network slowdown problems and reduce fees to nothing, PLUS allow micropayments!!!

This is the key to allow BTC to become a convenient global currency for instant digital payments as well as a permanent store of value (digital gold).

It's coming folks, and with Lightning in place the market cap could go to that of a global curreny, ie, over 10 Trillion, or 1 MILLION USD per BTC  Grin
7  Economy / Speculation / PING PONG on: November 30, 2017, 12:31:11 AM
Think about it people...

Bitcoin hit 10K!!!

We were waiting so long for it to hit 10K!

And today we got to see it hit 10K, not once, but at least a dozen times!

On the way up AND down! It's like a dream come true, over and over and over, backwards and forwards ahahahaha  Grin

8  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-11-14] After periodic drops, bitcoin tends to come back even stronger on: November 15, 2017, 03:23:35 PM
ANTIFRAGILE!

Antifragility is a property of systems that increase in capability, resilience, or robustness as a result of stressors, shocks, volatility, noise, mistakes, faults, attacks, or failures.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Antifragility

That means you take a sock at it with a sledgehammer and the damn hammer breaks!

13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Saving Bitcoins for your Children. on: November 13, 2017, 04:23:00 PM
BTC is an excellent investment right now. Obviously when it has passed 100k it might be time to diversify a bit and buy some real estate, bonds and other assets with the profits so you can guarantee your children will inherit the value in some form, regardless of what happens to the economy or BTC.
14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Truth about the Brazen Bitcoin Cash Scam and the Attack on Bitcoin on: November 13, 2017, 04:18:57 PM
Yes, already sold my free BCH altcoin for a fat and free profit. It's already down over 60% in the last day. When it breaks below 1000...

Bye-bye!

15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Big Showdown - DOGE vs BCH on: November 13, 2017, 02:05:48 PM
Dogecoin not safe to hold, eh?

And how about Bitcoin C(r)ash? Ahahaha:

Who are the stupid bagholders?  Grin

Go pump your centralized counterfeit Chinese garbage somewhere else, and here's a tip:

LEARN ENGLISH if you intend to hawk your worthless tokens to the Western world.

Good luck with your altcoin.

Bitcoin is Bitcoin. It stands alone.

BCH is an altcoin so we can speculate about how it might perform longterm compared to DOGE or NEO or EnjinCoin, etc.

Bitcoin Cash Works
Low Fees
Fast Transactions
Inflation Control

Core BTC Coin does not Work
Insane Fees / $20 to send $60
Insane Wait time / Weeks for transaction to complete

Maybe instead being stupid, you get smart and just fix core coin flaws instead of blaming others because you stupid.

Dogecoin , ok for quick payment, not safe to hold
Low Fees
Fast Transactions
High Inflation destroys it ability to be store of value ,Price per coin will always drop over time, Making too many too fast
(Reason it founder left it)

18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Truth about the Brazen Bitcoin Cash Scam and the Attack on Bitcoin on: November 13, 2017, 11:23:30 AM
It's a pathetic and transparent attack against the real Bitcoin.

Never had a chance of working and the BCH suckers are left holding the bag.

You losers thought people would mistake a centralized Chinese counterfeit scam coin for the real Bitcoin?

Long live Bitcoin!

"Antifragility is a property of systems that increase in capability, resilience, or robustness as a result of stressors, shocks, volatility, noise, mistakes, faults, attacks, or failures. It is a concept developed by Professor Nassim Nicholas Taleb in his book, Antifragile and in technical papers."

Poor Chinese, first their dictatorship made it illegal for them to trade crypto, then they lost all their money pumping BCH.  Cry
