201  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin is a good investment now, because... on: September 14, 2017, 06:03:23 AM
Because after a few years, all your investments are going to be tripled or more than that. As long as you can buy bitcoin, just keep doing it and take advantage of the dip and don't listen to anyone that creates negative news about bitcoin and just keep on holding.
202  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Advantages of paying with Bitcoin on: September 14, 2017, 03:16:47 AM
For me it's really the transaction with no hassle. Just copy the address and pay it and you can already see that it is showing that there is an upcoming deposit.
203  Other / Off-topic / Re: Job Vs Bitcoin on: September 14, 2017, 02:52:58 AM
Hi, I was wondering if I should quit my job and focus more on bitcoins? Because I think it might get me even richer without a job?  Grin

If you are not the breadwinner of your family or your own family then that's not goin to be a problem but if it is then I would not suggest to do that because that is more like a  career suicide.
204  Economy / Speculation / Re: Cheap Bitcoins! on: September 14, 2017, 02:37:19 AM
Maybe it's a good time to buy for those who have money but I just hope bitcoin don't drop too much less than $3500 because I always exchange it to fiat whenever I need some extra cash.
205  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bought my first BTC @ $4600, slightly worried on: September 14, 2017, 02:15:09 AM
I see you can't control your emotions. Nothing to be worried about because it always fluctuates like this. Its going up and down but eventually will go more upward. You should have a mindset that your lucky enough to buy now unlike anyone else that will bought it next year that is going to be almost or more than $10k.
206  Other / Politics & Society / Re: WHY NOT ALLOW MEN TO MARRY MORE THAN ONE WIFE LIKE MUSLIMS DO on: September 13, 2017, 09:02:30 AM
I would want having two wives but it will create more problems if that became legal. If a man coming from a poor community having many wives and make many children then it's just going to be a disaster. Having just one wife and 3 or 4 children is already hard enough to provide their necessities so adding more will just make it complicated.
207  Other / Off-topic / Re: Does Aliens exist? on: September 13, 2017, 07:58:26 AM
No, but I'm not closing the idea that there is a chance that they exist. As long a s there's no solid proof of physical evidence then I will not still believe that they exist. And if they are real, I'm not sure that they don't have human-like appearances like what we see in sci-fi movies.
208  Other / Meta / Re: Real Life Bitcointalk? on: September 12, 2017, 08:16:16 AM
Great idea. I also think so, I am interested to meet/see theymos,Lauda, yahoo, jamaleezaz, sylon,Vod,lutpin etc person.Don't know I can see or meet with them, but I am curious about them a lot.my curious mind/eyes want to saw them Smiley I think one day I will get a chance.
However, Til now I meet some people from bitcointalk, they are really good guys.

Count me in. I bet they are old or maybe between in the 40's or 50's. I like the idea that maybe one if them is a girl. I hope they would give us a chance to meet them or atleast know more about them.
209  Other / Meta / Re: Jump ranks on: September 12, 2017, 07:58:16 AM
Hi there .
I've  a question : can I jump ranks? I mean can my rank go from "newbie" to" member " if I post 60+ posts in 2 weeks ?
Or let's say : can someone rank goes from newbie to member without having Jr rank?

I'm just like you when I started. I was impatient and asking how to become a Sr member quickly but sad to say you are going to spend time posting here to achieve that.
210  Other / Meta / Re: Account still on newbee status? on: September 12, 2017, 07:35:31 AM
This post is really funny. Question that you should be asking is "how do I rank up?" and not "why all these other account are already higher than me with just a few months?" and it took you so many years to notice this and started asking.
211  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: This post is for those that think they missed the boat on: September 12, 2017, 07:17:03 AM
I don't know but maybe I'm just halfway late. I never knew bitcoin over the past years but still glad that I'm already here when it was $900 and spikes to $5000 so it's not that really bad.
212  Other / Meta / Re: What is up with people just randomly giving negative trust on others accounts? on: September 12, 2017, 06:54:38 AM
There is nothing wrong here IMO. Your post should even be removed for that ref. link spam IMO:

This thread is another example (as is the one the quote is from) of you opening a new thread without actually reading into how the forum works.

They are like epidemic. The spammer acting innocent and not trying to use their heads. They might be used on posting a lot of referrals in every social sites and forums and thinking this is not different.
213  Other / Meta / Re: Posts quality, WTF!? on: September 12, 2017, 06:08:16 AM
Hey guys, I’m not an old-timer here, but posts quality problem is so evident and eye-catching even for me though.
80% of threads consist of pointless posts simply simulating discussion and activity. When I saw few paged threads with paraphrased replies my first impression was like WTF is going on, really doesn’t look like a normal talk. Didn’t take too much time to sort things out and realize where a problem is. IMHO, signature campaigns should be better regulated, maybe limited and users rank system is quite imperfect. I’m not against campaigns at all, but you cannot force one to post regularly and maintain meaningful conversation, it’s frankly incompatible, otherwise you undermine forum the very aim to let people discuss and share useful information.

So do we need changes?

No, a lot of threads are mostly consists of opinions and different views of every individual so everyone has their own thoughts. If you want "normal talk" then find other bitcoin enthusiast personally so you can discuss with them with useful information face to face.
214  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in College??? on: September 08, 2017, 03:16:58 AM
It should be mandatory in universities and colleges so there will be more users of bitcoin. The students should be more familiar in these field because they are the ones who will also use it in the future.
215  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin be used by ordinary citizens? on: September 08, 2017, 02:59:08 AM
I know that ordinary citizens might encounter some difficulties learning and adapting but they can in the long run. Using computer and credit card was also hard for me when I started but now I feel like a professional.
216  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If you have some BTCs, why not have some Gold too? on: September 08, 2017, 02:30:46 AM
I like gold and I want to own some of them but it is not like bitcoin that you can easy get a profit from it. Its value is stable in the market so it's not very attractive for a trader like me.
217  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin a road to 10k. on: September 07, 2017, 08:41:38 AM
This is going to happen for sur on the midyear of 2018. Everything is going smooth even the fact that bitcoin just recently had a split event this august so I know 10k is reachable.
218  Economy / Speculation / Re: Assume the worst, governments ban BTC and implement their own Blockchain. on: September 07, 2017, 08:28:21 AM
I will still hold my btc. The government does not speak in behalf of every citizens on their country. The can't put down btc because I know that majority will win because many people will support the use of btc.
219  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to start trading alt coins? Beginner Tips! on: September 07, 2017, 08:11:24 AM
Some beginner tips:

1. Regularly read Bitcointalk forum
2. Check coinmarketcap.com for current real coin values
3. Check coinmarketcap.com history of coin you are interested in
4. Check the ANN thread of the coin on Bitcointalk
5. Many coins have their own blogs/ forums you need to follow to be up to date
6. At start choose coins that are already established and stable
7. Make yourself a portfolio of 3 - 5 coins for start
8. Do not jump in ongoing coin pumps, you never know when it will dump.
9. Make yourself a strategy for coins you will long term invest and maybe 2 gamble coins that are more risky but offer higher profit.
10. I recommend starting with Bittrex
11. Do not instantly sell your coins if they dumb instantly for no obvious reason ( research why)
12. At the beginning its better to aim for small profits like 5% - 10% +
13. Always keep some BTC to react when needed (buy)
14. Start slowly, take your time. 2 month in research and observation is recommended.
15. Always reinvest a share of your profit in your favorite coins and use a share of profit to gamble
16. Do not jump instant in new coins with big investment. If it looks promising to you start low and follow the progress.
17. If you advance and make good experience you could start to invest in icos, but watch out lots of scam around.

Add:

18. Never be emotional in your trading. Be objective! (thx to @Investor for the tip)
19 I also advice that when you already developed a good trading strategy, you stick into it and keep your discipline  (thx to bamboylee for this tip)

Good luck!

Would appreciate to add more tips to the list to give some valued info to beginners!

Good job on posting these tips sir. This is very effective if you just hold a few altcoins but if I am holding more than 20 coin then this might be too much time consuming.
220  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Dogecoin on: September 07, 2017, 07:46:58 AM
Day by Day dogecoin decreases.
What's the matter?

is any reason?
coinmarketcap 0.00000043 btc per doge

there are hundreds of topics about this and the reasons have been repeated a lot of times. Doge is one of those dying coins. it started as a joke coin and it caught on because the community liked the "joke" and because it was early days and there weren't that many altcoins to choose from anyways.

but because Doge is not really doing anything special + it has a gigantic supply of multi billions of coins + it has no cap and will increase day by day to infinity = this coin will remain like this, always falling and going down in price.

sometimes you see a small come back or a pump but they never last and it doesn't mean Doge is not dead.

Right, it is just one of ther first altcoins that were made and very popular to most traders. Doge only rely its rise to fake pump and dump groups.
