1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: BXB-Miner Cryptonight AMD GPU/CPU on: June 19, 2018, 09:25:24 PM
Perfect timing for announcing this miner as I'm trying to get into Cryptonight with my RX 580s. Thank you for this.

+1 for the curiosity of why this has 0% dev fee

I suggest to go for ASIC resistant and  low-cap coins na nasa at least $0.20 ang current price para mas mataas ang profit ratio.
3  Local / Pilipinas / Re: 50% loss in capital on: June 01, 2018, 12:39:55 AM

ADA naman pala ang binili mo, di bale HODL lang tataas din uli yan and will be more than $0.38 pa. Remember solid team ang nasa likod ng Cardano so don't worry. ADA holder din ako and I believe in Charles Hoskinson.

Also, it now supports buying/selling of 20 cryptocurrencies - Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Ripple,  Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum Classic, Dash, Zcash, Bitcoin Gold, Stellar Lumens, DigiByte, Dogecoin, Golem, OmiseGO, Qtum, Augur, Status, Stratis, Vertcoin and 0x
5  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Noah Coin to be Used In some Project in Mindanao. on: March 07, 2018, 01:36:37 PM
This could be good, but let's just wait and see as to what extent this new coin can help our country.

Quote
THE NOAH Ark Coin (NOAHCOIN), a cryptocurrency, will be introduced in Japan by midyear as an initial coin offering (ICO).

It will be used both as a funding source and eventual digital currency for a number of projects being developed in the Philippines – a mixed-use resort development in Mindanao that will include an assisted-living facility, a residential real estate in Metro Manila, an organic agriculture program for farmers in Mindanao, and renewable energy projects in various locations around the country.

6  Local / Pilipinas / BSP: Advisory on the Use of Virtual Currencies on: January 02, 2018, 10:55:41 PM
Lumabas ng bagong statement ang Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas regarding the Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.

Quote
With the recent price surge of VCs, such as Bitcoins, the BSP has observed that an increasing number of individuals or entities may be tempted to “invest” in VC pyramid schemes disguised as initial coin offerings (ICOs) or VC investment products.  The public is therefore advised to exercise caution regarding the acquisition, possession, trading of VCs or dealing with VC-related offers.  Unlike stocks or debt issues, VCs are not backed by any company or commodity and the price is purely dependent on market demand and supply.  As such, investing in VCs presents a highly speculative and risky undertaking which might result into huge financial losses. To minimize risks, the BSP highly encourages existing and prospective VC users to deal only with BSP-registered VC exchanges and maintain only a sufficient amount of VCs enough to address transaction requirements.  VC users should properly secure their VC holdings and observe security tips below to protect the confidentiality and integrity of personal information and transaction details.

Important security considerations for VC users:

  • Set-up and use a dedicated email account.  Avoid using the same email accounts or username that you have used in public platforms such as social media.
  • Keep your VC-related email account to yourself.  In any VC transaction, users need their email account and password.  Thus, it is important to secure not only your password but also your email account.
  • Set a strong password.  Use complex and hard-to-guess passwords (i.e. alphanumeric including symbols, lower and upper cases).  Avoid re-using the same password for more than one service.
  • Observe basic internet security.  Exercise caution in accessing your VC wallet especially when using wi-fi connections.  Avoid installing software, browser plugins or downloading attachments from unknown or suspicious websites and emails.  At the same time, do not leave your device unattended.
  • Subscribe to multi-factor authentication (MFA) provided by the VC wallet provider.  VC users should enable, whenever available, MFA options to their VC accounts.  Adding another layer of authentication can provide increased security to your VC account and transactions.
  • Separate your funds and use cold storage.  VC funds should be separated in two or more digital wallets for transactional purposes.  The main wallet used to store VC funds for future use should be kept offline or popularly known as cold storage wallet to minimize vulnerability to theft, hacking or fraud.

8  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Nakakapag Browser Mining ba kayo sa Freebitco.in ? on: December 22, 2017, 02:08:28 AM
Not worth it ang browser mining. Aksaya lang sa kuryente.

9  Local / Pilipinas / Re: BDO close accounts that have a history of Transaction with Bitcoin on: December 22, 2017, 02:04:56 AM

Ang BSP naman medyo malabo, they have given licenses to the likes of Coins.ph, etc but then sinasabi nilang hindi nila ini-endorse.

Eh di na lang sana sila namigay ng licenses in the first place.
10  Local / Pamilihan / Re: ABRA?? on: December 22, 2017, 01:56:00 AM
1. is it possible to cash in via over the counter deposit in unionbank?
2. how many % ang cut ni tambunting for cash in?
3. how much ang charge ni abra when you want to transfer your btc from abra wallet to another wallet?

2. Ang last na alam ko P10.00 ata
3. Walang charge ang Abra mismo when transferring BTC to another wallet pero may Bitcoin fees as usual
11  Local / Pamilihan / Re: ABRA?? on: December 22, 2017, 01:49:40 AM
I have used Abra before, eto ang mga advantages compared to Coins.ph

- Market rate value ang bentahan ng Bitcoin unlike with the markup of about 1.75% with Coins.ph
- Cash-in via Unionbank now so it's more secure
- You can now buy Ethereum (ETH) in the Philippines using Abra

How about maximun daily limit meron po ba? Is it okay to transfer from coins.ph to abra kasi balak ko ilipat iba para sa Abra ako mahiipon.

Let's just wait and see.

13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Litecoin to be over $5000 in 2018? on: December 14, 2017, 12:42:25 AM
With mass adoption growing everyday, I think Litecoin to be valued at 5,000 by the end of 2018 is possible.
14  Local / Pilipinas / Re: BITCOIN PRICE AT THE END OF 2017 on: December 07, 2017, 07:42:55 PM
I think aabot ng $20,000.00 by the end of the year.

16  Local / Pilipinas / Re: May nabasa ako tatanggap na daw ang Mcdonald Ng bitcoin next year on: December 05, 2017, 04:35:27 AM

Cashier: Bitcoin or Paper money
Buyer Binigay ang bitcoin address or card

Litecoin or Dash siguro ang pwedeng pang McDo payments.
17  Local / Pilipinas / Re: it is posible to hit $10k si bitcoin bago mag 2018? on: November 28, 2017, 04:51:37 AM
Currently at $9,744.90... I guess I was wrong with my earlier statement.

Anyway, Bitcoins never ceases to surprise. Go lang ng go Smiley
18  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Etherium to php exchanger site? on: November 26, 2017, 11:33:51 PM
Pinakamabilis na paraan I think is via Changelly (https://changelly.com)

Pwede mong gamitin Philippine issued credit or debit card mo then diretso to ETH conversion.

Minimum 50 USD nga lang ang transaction.
19  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Pweding Maging Milyonaryo sa mga LENDING ICO? on: November 21, 2017, 11:21:47 PM
Ingat lang sa mga ICOs or anything crypto-related projects na may promises na very high returns.

Kapag "Too Good To Be True" ang mga promises, better stay away before ka pa magsisi.
20  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Do we want our own coin? on: November 18, 2017, 05:28:39 AM
I agree na it's about time na may tatawagin ng sariling coin ang Pilipinas, pero di mo na dapat i-asa to sa government.

Also, I think even though 99% ng mga Pilipino ay walang alam about sa ICO, it's still possible to launch one provided that:

1. Token price will be affordable by the common Filipinos (maybe priced at P0.25/token) and can be bought via both crypto and fiat
2. There will be a massive nationwide campaign marketing and awareness about the benefits of the token
3. The most important of all is - the use case of this token (initial launch should already include thousands of stores that will accept the token as payment even those sari-sari stores, jeepneys, trcicyles, etc.)

It may sound very ambitious, but I'm afraid that it should be ambitious to make it work and succeed.

Just my 2 cents Smiley
