41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's CryptoNote GPU Miner v9.7 on: September 07, 2017, 05:32:16 PM
Guys,
Please take the non-Claymore discussion to a thread that is not about the Claymore miner.  Seems a bit disrespectful to use Claymore's forum for his miner to talk about other miners you are using.  Also, Claymore stated he was going to update this miner after he finished the update on his dual miner, which he did a few weeks ago.  I am looking forward to an update to this miner because I have found it to be unstable with newer cards, and I find his miners to be somewhat user friendly now that I know how to use them.  I don't mind paying a fee as long as it is stable and capable.  With the price of XMR going up I am chomping at the bit to find a good Monero miner that isn't confusing to set up.  I would hope that Claymore would read this thread and provide some feedback and possibly hope on when he will release an updated version of this miner.

Here is the link where claymore sated that he is now working on Cryptonote miner: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1433925.msg21469682#msg21469682

I hope also to use his new miner very soon! As i wrote in my previous message "I pay the fee without problem but this miner has also stability problem on my system, because of this I'm using the sgminer. I hope cleymore will release new version soon."

Thanks

Im using SGminer-GM and it is giving 820Hs on each rx 580 - 8gb, i think there is no fee using this miner.. right?

i stopped using claymore as i notice that it taking fee's continuously. correct me if im wrong and i hope that Sir Claymore could gives us a new updated miner soon..

would it be possible to do Dual mining under cryptonight algo.?

I'm using also sgminer 5.5.5-gm on my rx480 rigs. My config is: rawintensity: 512, worksize: 4, gpu-threads: 2. My cards have custom bios for eth and they are clocked cc:1125MHz/mc:2080MHz. Powerlimit in AB -10 and CoreVoltage -96. It gives me 750 h/s per card.

@Jbodz83, can you please write your config and core and memory clocks?

With my config Claymore cryptonote miner gives me about 735-740 but there is a dev fee in this speed

Hi, i used 896 rawintensity

Core Clock 1150 / Mem 2050 on rx 570 4gb and Core clock 1200 / Mem 2225 on RX 580 8gb / -96 mv / temp under 40C / 85% Fan speed (hope this helps and let me know if my config is too much.. as i dont want to have trouble with my GPU's as well  Grin )

Great! I changed my rawintensity from 512 to 896 and my hashes jumped from ~750 to ~850. My core and memory clocks are same as I wrote! I will check it for stability and if it will work stable I will change this option on my other rig.
I don't think that such high memory clock is ok for video card! I run my cards not high than 2150!

Thanks for the good rawintensity value Smiley

Hi Dev,

If my ISP couldn't provide a public IP. I will not be a masternode, right? Sad

I found this error from start masternode.

"Not capable masternode: Can't detect valid external address. Please consider using the externalip configuration option if problem persists. Make sure to use IPv4 address only."

I had the same problem. Try to check under settings->options->network the "Map port using UPnP" option.
Also in your router enable UPnP
This solved my problem!

Nicog:
You can control multiple nodes from one wallet, but each node must have its own wallet and unique IP. So each masternode will require either a vps or a static IP.

Vivo is very light on resources, so you might be able to get away with some of the free tier Vps's, but I haven't tried that myself

Thanks GerryMc for your answer! I will try it with VPS as soon as I have more coins!

check the guide here how to setup a single or multiple cold nodes. on a vps with 2gb you could run 8-10 vivo daemons max. I wouldn't recommend more then 5. haven't tried to max it out by now.

I'm running already one masternode which I made exactly as in this guide, but without VPS. I'm running it on my windows 10 machine and in the wallet options under network I checked "Map port using UPnP" to make it work. Of cause in my router UPnP is also activated
But I did not found the guide how to setup multiple masternodes, If you have some exact links please write it here

Anyway thanks for your help!

Can I run multiple separate masternodes on only one wallet?
Thanks

Hallo,
I made my first masternode and after i mined 60 coins, i transferred this 60 coins to exchange account address. But at this time my masternode stopped working and i was forced to make another working masternode.

Can someone please explain how to transfer mined coins from masternode zero account to some other account and at this time do not interrupt working of this masternode itself?

Thanks in advance
Nico

Open VIVO-qt
Click settings -> options
Select wallet tab
Check enable coin control features
Click ok

This would put the 1000 coins in the bottom of priority
You need to ensure your coins are confirmed before you send out

Hope it help, thanks

Thanks for your quick and informative answer!
I will try it as soon as I have more coins!

Nico

great work semtexzv. thank you very much!
I made some tests and it works great on my 5x rx480 rig. I get 100-101 MG/H. Thanks!
But with old driver (I had 16.11.5) I got very high memory usage on my windows 10 64bit machine. With 4 GB memory I could not run 5 cards but only 3! After I changed the driver from 16.11.5 to 17.7.1 there is everything OK! I can mine with memory usage under 2.5 GB (whole system).

Can you please make the temperature and fan control over the config file so we can set the target temp and fans works on auto to hold the target temp as in sgminer for example!

Thank you very much!

Someone is manipulating with the prices very very hard! in 5 minutes from 1600 down  to 600 sat and back again! Someone like to buy the coins very cheap!

Can someone please optimize the sgminer code for AMD RX cards??

Is there any better gpu miner that is on the official page? so far, nothing works for me except for miners from their website....
sgminer прекрасно работает на RX 480

But it is too slow comparing with ccminer which is good optimized for CUDA!

@palgin
Can you please also speed up the sgminer for AMD RX400/RX500?
Thanks

I may take a look, but I haven't got any AMD for testing, I can't compete with Wolf0

If it helps, i can test in my RX480 and Radeon 380. I think, some of Radeon-User would do the same.

Ok. Than we need to ask Wolf0.
@ Wolf0
Please help us - AMD miners - to speed up our cards! Make the miner software with fee as Claymore Dual Miner. I will pay you for optimization with big pleasure as many AMD miners as I think!
Thanks
