1  Economy / Economics / Re: which will u choose to buy on: December 21, 2020, 03:07:25 AM
what are you gonna do if u have millions dollars of cash ? are  you  gonna spend it all for ferrari high class car or invest bitcoin for survive ?
I'd diversify my portfolio. Perhaps, half of it or less I'd invest in crypto.
Other half in low risk investment tools suhc as fonds, foreign assets, perhaps stocks to some extent.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO, IEO, IDO, STO which best? on: November 05, 2020, 02:10:17 AM
Which do you think is best for a new project and why?
I guess for an investor IEO and STO are the best options just because there is a better chance of an honest high quality project.
However, you can always find a decent ICO project as well as scam IEO - its mostly about the research you do before investing
3  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: OWNR wallet. Buy, exchange and store crypto. Licensed service. on: November 02, 2020, 11:48:21 PM
There weren't any news for like a months from OWNR - is team still there?
App is working, its support as well, so I assume everything is fine, but that'd be nice to know what is up.
4  Economy / Economics / Re: Second lockdown in Europe can their economy survive this?. on: November 02, 2020, 11:45:03 PM
Furthermore it’s pertinent to note that this lockdown has come during the holiday season, and if it continues to stay in place then Europe’s economy could be severely impacted, and therefore in my personal opinion it could take year’s before European economy completely recovers.
What is the worst case scenarios that come in your mind when you read this news?.
Can't disagree, it will take several years for european countries to get rid of lockdown's aftermath, but thats their choice.
Look at USA, they've proceeded to open everything when it clearly was not completely safe to do so - and they did it to boost economy, because they thought or maybe still think its worth it.
European countries, on the other hand, still value people's lives over economy.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Finally!! McAfee is arrested in Spain and now facing extradition on: October 06, 2020, 11:48:35 AM
Dunno about you guys but I am really happy with this step from SEC
Finally SEC is trying do something good, instead of trying to ban decent projects like Telegram's gram was
6  Economy / Economics / Re: money is root of evil on: September 15, 2020, 05:42:52 AM
instead of money we should have vouchers to buy everything from the shops goods foods
and everybody will get eqaul ammount of them the vouchers
So, the communism then?
Its controversial as much as current capitalistic system, the problem is - we as people are not ready to feel equal with everyone else neither we are 100% about being competitive.
Its the golden middle, its somewhere in between, we're just on the way to figure things out.
Human's culture is too young to decide what is the best way
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum and ETHER difference on: August 31, 2020, 06:49:39 AM
as I entered the crypto currencies and read about projects involved, i did not realized the fact that Ethereum is not the same as ETHER (ETH) and seems to me that most of people take these two as synonyms, although that is not the fact, so i will do a simple explanation for beginners
Ethereum is an implementation of blockchain with defined rules, it is the same as Bitcoin is another implementation of blockchain with defined rules, it is a broad meaning, and there could be many different instances of Ethereum blockchain implementation, these instances are defined by genesis block for each of those, and all blocks that are subsequent to this particular genesis block, while
ETHER (ETH) is a native token of Ethereum public mainnet instance, and as such can be used only on this instance, but there are also other instances - for example many testnets - Rinkeby, Kovan, Ropsten - which are public as well
as other example of instances, there are private Ethereum networks, such as Nightfall instance by Ernst and Young
so basically Ethereum is much broader term than ETH (ETHER) and one should bear that in mind when talking about about crypto currencies and digesting news regarding Ethereum blockchain implementation, that does not have necessarily to have influence on ETH crypto currency
Even though this wasn't the simplest one to explain the difference between two - thanks for your effort, I learned quite a few new things from your post
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which site do you use to get fresh updates on different projects event on: August 19, 2020, 01:20:44 PM
It's an easy way to make money if someone trades based on different event I think. But when I got the news, I can not entry at early point. So, which site do you use to get event update of different projects? Is there any app which can notify you before 15 days of an event? I would like to get all the possible ways to get such event update. Please share which one do you use.
I always search for news manually, just googling.
But there is one source that I keep coming back quite often is cointelegraph which helps to keep track of both events and news
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Forget bounties and Airdrops on: August 05, 2020, 09:23:27 AM
I currently have my interest in airdrop and bounties but the truth remains that the payment rate for bounties and airdrop is reducing, blockchain holds great promise and I feel it's necessary that one start taking courses on programming, because i see Blockchain technology becoming a major additives for applications, its never too late to stay relevant.
You got it right - crypto is most certainly will be the source of work and money for many developers.
If you're going to develop own product/coin (which is going to be useful of course) this could be way more profitable than participating in airdops and bounties
10  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: OWNR wallet. Buy, exchange and store crypto. Licensed service. on: August 04, 2020, 05:53:12 AM
I like that you've added full EOS support. Will it be possible to buy EOS via Ownr one day?
They have added full support of EOS like a week ago, your request is kind of hasty.
Anyway, you still can buy other crypto through their app and exchange it to eos if you want it that much
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: top 6 cryptocurrency , Invest in 2020 on: August 04, 2020, 05:34:21 AM
I've seen similar Titan-shill thread  a month ago or so, it was a bit disturbing, but I can live with it as long as the rest of the top is fair play.
But this time I don't really agree with Ripple choice, its downtrend hasn't ended imo and so it seems like its falling for 3 years straight.
Yeah a lot of people still hold it, market cap is huge, but that doesn't tell me much good about it
12  Economy / Economics / Re: Will India be more progressive in the coming years? on: July 30, 2020, 05:17:50 PM
India is second-most populous country after China. India will be more progressive in the coming years due to its good connectivity with China. Even after suffering so much from the effects of the epidemic, the Indian government will be able to develop their country very quickly. India is already considering legalizing crypto. If India supports crypto, they will quickly become more progressive.
If India supports crypto and people adopt crypto in their regular life then Indian economy really has a chance to be revived in the next 3-5 years
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ARE ICOS STILL LEGIT? on: July 22, 2020, 03:00:18 AM
yes indeed most of the ICO is a scam but not all, maybe those who invest in ICO because they have done a lot of research and believe if the project will develop and provide many benefits
The era for ico has already started and it looks like the only quality ico that can attract a lot of investors. I have seen so many scam icos dead before it has gotten even a single investors.
More smart investors will bring ico into the its golden era again.
Yeah I believe in this too. Smart investment is going to win over blind so called "angel" investment.
This way decent ICOs will get their funds for developing, scammers will get lost eventually
14  Economy / Economics / Re: China economy and how they handle Covid-19. on: July 03, 2020, 08:57:30 AM
I think Chinese people followed all the Governments guidelines and health protocol...no wonder,  they are now containing the virus in their country. And aside from that, chinese people are very dedicated and hardworking and most of them are doing good in handling business...no wonder, their country is rich and growing. Surely then, they will gain back their losses immediately in all aspects especially their economy because of their persistency and hardwork.
And don't ingore fact that China is a country with pretty closed borders.
And they really don't like sharing any valuable info, so easily could be lying about that
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Why we trust binance exchange? on: June 28, 2020, 01:59:21 PM
Some of the reasons that attract me or others as well to Binance is the easy registration process, very easy to understand user interface even for the first timer in crypto space,  Altcoins keep on increasing and one which is not worth is being removed, good liquidity on the exchange and good safety feature as well.
Crypto related services are sometimes really hard to get even registration done - I totally agree, binance helps with this.
But its liquidity was that great during this March dump, afaik kraken and bitfinex were providing majority of liquidity on the global market.
binance's wide choice is something I appreciate the most honestly
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trying to decide on: June 26, 2020, 07:43:28 PM
Hey guys,
So I'm pretty new currently own some Ada, Vechain, ZIL RSR and Flexacoin.  Considering exchanging one of these for Dent, and maybe BAT.
I'm not into Bitcoin really but looking for a high reward possibility coin.  ANy insight or thoughts on any of these? or any high reward/risk ones you guys like?
I don't have a huge amount invested, but thinking about just going all in on Cardano and just holding to save the stress of looking any different ones.
WOuld love any tips or suggestions.  I like CHarles- Cardano alot, I really get the vibe they are onto something big....
Dent is not a good option in my own opinion. Ada, Vet, Zil are all good choices. Well, if you need other choices, you may take a look at coins like XTZ, ALGO, ETH etc. They may be worth investing some bucks in.
Cant agree more about xtz and eth. Algo is questionable tho. I'd say monero has much more potential among other altcoins
17  Economy / Economics / Re: India-China border tensions on: June 25, 2020, 06:59:59 PM
If India and China join in a military conflict then Hindus finally will stop writing shit code for a penny and finally the Chinese will stop climbing everywhere they can
The talks are in process and yesterday both countries had long discussion and today as well they are having discussions which is a good sign and may be the resolution would come out soon and peace will will prevail in those areas and among the countries too .
Yeah I tend to agree. Even if they won't come up with a solution soon - the discussion is going and it could be a state of relationship for those countries to exist within.
The tension is not worth of starting a war. I believe none of these two huge countries would stand against this point
18  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: OWNR wallet. Buy, exchange and store crypto. Licensed service. on: June 25, 2020, 06:57:13 PM
EOS is a great project, yes, but there are a lot of others valuable coins too. Are you planning to add other projects faster? Binance listed DGB today, it could be nice next candidate
Have you ever even used DGB for anything except trading it?
I vote against it, it would be much better to add monero or tezos since their usability is wider (and they're good for trading as well)
19  Economy / Economics / Re: Which is better, staking or investing? on: June 22, 2020, 08:56:13 PM
My most important question: Which is better, staking or investing?
Staking doesn't produce anything of value, it's just useless inflation. For every "free" coin you get by staking your portfolio is depreciating by a similar amount (or more, if some other bagholders have masternodes or some other contraption that produces more inflation).
Staking does not produce any value, investing is not that of a stable.
You better use both to minimize possible losses I guess
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Future whale wannabe on: June 03, 2020, 04:34:22 PM
If you have the money to take the risk then it may work out for you, I'm not the old me who look things the way people do anymore, there is always more that met the eye
Tron value was once 0.001$, no one expect the price to reach 0.016$ today, if you ask me that's a big gain.
In 2017 Komodo coin was 0.002$ and today it's trading for 0.62$, these are big gains that are way superior over anything big coins like Bitcoin can give, the bigger the risk the bigger the profit, that's the motto of altcoins
It seems like you already 've said almost everything OP got to know.
I'd like to add two obvious yet important things - there are no way to tell if a coin/token is going to be valuable overtime
and you have no profit until you hold the coins (I mean hasn't exchanged them)
