Hey guys, I wanted to let you know about this: HYPER is a new coin that is planning to launch a new MMO later with their coin as the game's currency. They are later talking about possibly adding DVC as well. http://hypercrypto.com/space-based-mmo/This could be a great joint project between HYPER and DVC. Before there are any screenshots on the game I think HYPER will have to lay low on the markets..

That's 4 shares, not 4 times. Devcoin blocks are 50k. Minus mining 10% is 45k. For that round one share = 180m/1588 = 113,350. So over the period of payout you'll get 4 * 113.35k (the 453.8k you reference) total paid out in denominations of 45k (mostly 45k, there may also be smaller denominations as required to split blocks between recipients). [/quote] ah okay. because i expected the 113.35k on that block ^^'

Hey guys, quick Devtome related question. I was wondering one thing about the payouts. Because according to http://dvccountdown.blisteringdevelopers.com/ (same nick so you can see the stats) for round 32 I should be getting 453,800 DVC in total. The receiver files for this round tell me I'll be payed 4 times but for my first payout I received 45,000. So I'm slightly confused if I'm getting 453k DVC or 180k.. Have a nice day fellow Devcoiners!

Hello all, we are still looking for someone to represent Devcoin and speak at our Convention. If you would like to, please pm me or email, alex@cryptocurrencyconvention.com. Thank you! Would an award encourage someone to speak? If so, I'd like to propose something like the MiniMetalMaker "bounty". If you speak at the convention, all travel expenses will be paid for (provided they are under $1500 - this can be changed), and you will also get admission to the convention paid for, through devcoin. Whoever writes a speech and presentation (powerpoint, prezi, etc.) about devcoin, for the speaker, in turn gets 4 shares. (the two people can be the same) How does that sound? If I had known like a year before this might have been doable. I'm unfortunately a polish passport holder and as such require a VISA that's done 6 months prior. *sad face* If it was in Europe I'd have done it.

Umm, hey guys I got a possible noob question concerning Devtome. I'm asking here because the Devtome thread seems to be dead. So here's my profile: http://www.devtome.com/doku.php?id=wiki:user:kochmann799All the articles apart from the one called "How having little confidence affects a relationship" were written and submitted to the front page before the submission deadline of Round 32. When I checked the stats it seems only the four above the subsection were counted in by tomecount as the word count from the stats matches the total I did on wordcounter.net So my question is. Did I screw up by making a subsection? Will my articles still get counted in this round if I line them up differently? Thanks! You're lucky, none of mine got in this round. There is a week long process and each new writer needs to be checked by 3 different people AFTER you post your first 1000 words. I singed up for devtome few weeks ago but didn't post anything just wrote my articles in word instead of the wiki thinking that I was ok if I post them by the deadline. Didn't know about the 1000 words rule. Basically, everything that doesn't get in round 32 will transfer into round 33. With the influx of new writers the process is going very slow, I have yet to be contacted about my devcoin address by an admin and it's over a week now since I started posting on devtome. Nothing to do but wait for the next round I guess. Well, I got contacted and added to the list and everything. I started posting like in the middle of the round. But I want to make sure it's not a layout glitch that is making tomecount ignore those entries.
