1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [BLRY] **BILLARY COIN**| Multi Service Payment Solutions | on: July 27, 2017, 01:07:54 PM
So no connections is a big issue, unfortunately, I don't think I have the time to fix it. It is with a heavy heart that I formally announce that I'm going to be stepping down from my position as the BLRY dev. It's been a fun 14 months or so, but I simply do not have the free time to give this coin the love it needs.

If anyone or any group is interested in taking over this coin, please PM me.

Any answers about BITRREX? OR ANOTHER BANK?

I'm working with a few community members to raise the necessary BTC (3) to get listed, and that's still of Richie will let us. So I want to do this right and get all our ducks in a row first. Just knowing that the BTC is available will be the first step, I'm not asking anyone to transfer anything.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [BLRY] **BILLARY COIN**| Multi Service Payment Solutions | on: May 27, 2017, 06:28:21 AM
The next steps are to get on Bittrex.

I've had PMs from several members in the last few weeks saying that they're willing to donate BTC towards buying our way onto Bittrex. So I've been mulling this over, and it might be time to proceed with this, as it's not fair that Yobit is dropping the ball like this. We're trying to think of the best way to move forward for this plan to succeed, I'm going to make contact with Bill or Richie in the coming days to figure out the exact cost a BLRY community member tells me it's 2 BTC, although their Helpdesk FAQ says 3 BTC), if they're even interested, how soon it could be done. I'll keep you guys posted.

Has anyone tried contacting the Yobit admin staff to resolve this by the way?

Fear not community, we're going to have a much better alternative to Yobit very soon.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [BLRY] **BILLARY COIN**| Multi Service Payment Solutions | on: May 26, 2017, 09:58:08 PM
So is there any exchange right now? Anyone knows what is wrong with yobit?

I've been dealing with the mod DominikHerzog on Yobit, he's relaying the issue to the admin Blacksmith. I apologise this is taking some time, but it's out of my control. The wallet is performing well, so there's nothing wrong with the blockchain. There are a lot of coins on that exchange that are in maintenance, I just don't think they have the manpower to look into all of these issues in a timely manner.

I recommend to anyone who wants to help solve this, send a private message to DominikHerzog on Yobit, and see if we can POLITELY ask them to fix this issue. I do not want to send 1000 people to fill up his inbox all shouting at him, that will NOT fix the problem. Do so gracefully and politely, and maybe that will help show them that the BLRY community wants this issue resolved soon.

I will keep using the channels I have on Yobit to push this forward, but as I said, it's not my exchange, so, unfortunately, I can't wave a magic wand and make the issue go away, though I wish I could Smiley

Alright, this is the last time I'm saying this, as perhaps some of you can't understand English very good. I'm not paying more money for a third faucet. That is all. Comprende? If someone wants to pay for one and fill it with coins, I'll promote it. But that's the beginning and the end of it. This has nothing to do with the other developments that Team Billary is pursuing, which I promise you are more interesting than a fucking faucet LOL.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [BLRY] **BILLARY COIN**| Multi Service Payment Solutions | on: May 22, 2017, 10:05:49 PM
Lol, 2x noob posters getting scared. bye!

There's no "farewell tone", and to imply that me stating facts truthfully is giving the altcoin scene "no credibility" tells me that you have a flimsy grasp on the English language, so any further berating of you would be a waste of effort.

It's me being honest, as I've always been with this community. I'm not fronting more money for a faucet, that's all, it's not a priority for the development for this coin.

We've had 2x active faucets for over a year, if you haven't got your fill already, I'm sorry I can't help you. If community members want to set up a faucet, I'll post it on the front page, but that's pretty far down the list of what I consider to be important.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [BLRY] **BILLARY COIN**| Multi Service Payment Solutions | on: May 22, 2017, 02:02:20 AM
any new faucet for this coin. that faucet u mention on here first page does not work. so kindly update new faucet. thank you

There's no faucet at the moment, if someone wants to set one up I'll be sure to post it on the first page.

The guy who set up the first faucet ran off with almost 20k BLRY, (I gave him 10k as payment, then I filled it up with 10k from the premine, only later realising that they were the same address, so the faucet was his personal account, pretty hilarious oh well, at least it was active and working for a few months until he ran off). And the second guy just ran out of coins. I'm not going to be putting any more coins into a faucet at this point, as I don't have many left, I've paid people working on this project in BLRY for promotions, marketing, and development, not to mention the tons of free giveaways in the first month, the faucets, and the many bounties. Truth be told I don't have much left, and I haven't sold many, only about 0.5 BTC total, and I have less than 50k in reserve. So yeah, I still believe in this project, but I simply don't have funds to pay for the development and hosting of a new faucet, and filling it with coins. Sorry!

Yeah, boomyak is right. 30+ BTC of buys today from 1500 to 2100, and then immediately brought back down to 800 within 20 minutes. This exact pattern has happened 4 times in just the last month, massive pump, and then one person drops it down within minutes. The timing tells you everything you need to know, he's trying to accumulate. Sometimes it's within seconds that after there's a big buy, someone will sell just 10 coins to bring the price back down, it's pretty hilarious and very transparent. Remember what really happened here guys, because the troll is banking on you only seeing a red candle a week from now, as his teeny tiny dumps make 30+ BTC of buys looks like nothing. People aren't so easily fooled Wink

I'm glad you got it working Hashman, I'm not a linux guy myself, but I had mylinux guy looking into it. The commits you're referring to yes were intended to clean things up, this is the first time I've heard of any issue from it, but you have it working now, so I'm happy.

And this pumpmycoin group, I have to say, I'm wasn't sure if they were legit or not, I think this might have been the first coin that they pumped? But it seems to be real, it's hard to say, it could be a coincidence, but it was interesting to watch that's for sure. So thanks guys at pumpmycoin for kicking ass with BLRY Smiley

For your trainspotters, BLRY reached a new record marketcap of $361,522 USD!!!

I've been trying to compile the wallet on Ubuntu and have been having trouble, likewise for the daemon. You need to update the wallet to work with the latest versions of libboost.

Here's the error I get when compiling...

~/cryptos/BillaryCoinSource/src$ make -f makefile.unix
/bin/sh ../share/genbuild.sh obj/build.h
make: *** No rule to make target 'obj/irc.o', needed by 'billarycoind'.  Stop.

I downloaded the file from the Daemon link you have on page 1, if there's a more recent version let me know. However, it would be best if you could fix it so I could compile it myself.

./billarycoind: error while loading shared libraries: libboost_system.so.1.54.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

I've compiled two other coins so far and didn't have any trouble, and I don't want to install an older version of libboost. Furthermore, on Yobit the wallet has been in "maintenance" for a while now, can you deal with that?

Just use the source from GitHub, I'll look into what's going on at Yobit.

Very interesting. I just want to say for the record that we had nothing to do with this, it seems like BLRY is just a community favorite Smiley

If you would like to submit a coin to be reviewed for addtion to Bittrex please visit: https://bittrex.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/202583854-Submitting-a-Coin-to-Bittrex-Updated-02-29-16. Discuss your coin with the community here on slack/irc and give us 2-3 sentences about what makes your altcoin different (hint: innovation is key. Combining features that already exist in other altcoins does not make your coin unique).

Yeah, I've spoken with Richie, waiting on confirmation.

Hey guys, sorry for being so quiet lately. I've had other forces in my life take precedence lately. I'm going to be making more frequent posts here in the coming weeks.

Again, i apologize, but it was due to events beyond my control.

And please, use google translate and post in english in the future. This is the main english thread, so it's important that everyone can read.

I shared some of the people I spoke with, the Deputy Governor of the Bank of Jamaica (who I went for lobster with on Thursday, and Damien Marley was at our restaurant xD), the General Manager of the JSE, and also I had a bonus meeting with the Chairman of the JSE on Friday morning 2 hours before my return flight, it was held at the boardroom at the actual site of the JSE, which was nice to be invited to (the conference was at the Pegasus Hotel, not the actual JSE building).

As for the nature of the deals and partnerships, they're all being negotiated. What I learned is that no deals really close at the convention, it's a whirlwind, people are moving from meetings to meetings all week. It's more about making contacts, and working on establishing some agreements, but nothing closes at the event.

There were people there talking about infrastructure, civic services, agriculture, trade routes, stem cell research (that one was really interesting, check out Dr. Janice Fisher @ www.drjanicefisher.com, last year she gave a blind person back their sight, 40% in one eye, 60% in the other, which is the first time that's ever been done in the world, a truly tremendous feat), recycling, irrigation foreign investors, options, futures, etc. etc. etc. SOOOO many presentations, it's impossible to nail anything down, the best you can do is try to generate interest, and follow up on your contacts to hash out some deals, which is exactly what we're in the process of doing.

I have a skype meeting with the board @ the JSE on Tuesday morning, and the TSX on Thursday. My team has already proposed some offers, we're waiting to discuss their (hopeful) counter-offer, and then we work out logistics.

Due to the confidential nature of the proceedings, I won't be able to share the details of these meetings. Once we have some legal agreements written up, signed, stamped, and notarized, then you guys will be the first to know.

No one's interested in me talking up crypto at the Jamaican Stock Exchange Annual Investors Conference? Just concerned with a bittrex listing? #sad

It would be nice to be listed there, but I don't have 3 BTC to spend on it. If anyone wants to donate 3 BTC, I will follow the required steps to get it listed.

1fFk9ZWPdB98vi7JzZTUpXThwkSH8B6yZ

Or really, anyone could just take it upon themselves to do it. I don't think you need to be the dev to have all the information that they require, anyone can get that info from the OP in this thread. So if you have 3 BTC and want to get it listed, and don't trust me to do it, then you can probably do it yourself Smiley

Anyways, as I've said a few months ago, we have plans to trade on our own exchange(s). And I can tell you that after meeting with the Chairman of the JSE this morning, and a board of directors member of the TSX, that focusing on Bittrex will seem like small potatoes in a few months. I can't give away my plans, as my partners and I are under a non-disclosure confidentiality agreement. I really want to tell you guys more about this, but alas, that's been my dilemma all week. So many meetings, so many presentations, and everyone's trying to probe you for information, and I had to be really careful to not give away our plans. I feel like the cast working on the new Star Wars film, where they know that they can't under any circumstances talk about the plot, but I know they want to Smiley
