81  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH 2.0 And High Transaction Fees.. on: October 10, 2020, 07:26:22 PM
Hii Everyone

I have a little question .... Sorry if this sound silly but i just cant help but ask

Everyone has been talking about the much anticipated ETH 2.0 and how it will put an end to the high transaction fees which is currently one of the major problems on Ethereum blockchain.

My question now is , what happens if ETH 2.0 fails to put an end to the high fees ?? would this mean the Death or partial death of ether?

(death--no longer used)
(partial death--no longer used like before)
Well, if you follow the news, the founder of Ethereum network Vitalik Buterin has clarified this thing in an interview by saying that scaling through sharding is the basic part of phase 0 of eth 2.0 which simply means that they want to resolve scalability issues first than anything else so be happy and stay positive.
82  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are you involved with Crypto? on: October 10, 2020, 06:42:10 PM
Aside from monetary incentives in crypto, I rarely come across discussions pertaining to why the average enthusiast in crypto is involved with crypto. While the answer may be pretty straightforward, there are some outliers.

Crypto means much more than just monetary incentives, it's essentially a technical revolution that has involved the masses, something you and I can be apart of. Ultimately, that's probably one of my greatest interests for blockchain and crypto. Another big intrigue for me is the evolution of blockchain tech in itself. I've been around for quite sometime and have witnessed the evolution of cryptos, businesses, behaviors and attitudes.

These 2 factors, along with several others, are the reasons I continue to be involved on a community and business level with crypto. It's become a hobby, passion and business for me.
I think everyone here is an enthusiast and passionate person about crypto and those are the things that bring people at discussion forums like bitcointalk. I have learned a lot here and now i just want to share my experience with local friends and also want them to tale advantage of upcoming bull season by entering now.
83  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: XRP got 30 new WHALES!!! on: October 09, 2020, 09:27:55 PM
XRP got 30 new whales who are holding over a million XRP on their wallet. The analysis says XRP is ready to go up. Read the article below to know more.
https://cointelegraph.com/news/xrp-is-up-30-and-has-30-new-whales/amp

What's your thoughts on it? Can we see Ripple over 1$ again? Or it will stay here?
Xrp has all the ingredients to moon, the team and company is doing impressive work and as far as i know they are developing extensive blockchain ecosystem that will be able to cover all aspects ranging from payments to remittances to smart contracts so xrp will definitely do well in coming years.
84  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin (LTC) Huge Pump is coming with New Update on: October 09, 2020, 08:29:44 PM
Litecoin team are working on new update called "Block Extension" to make coin has Privacy option.

LTC new update will meet huge pump in the next few days.
who else expect that?
Looks like ltc has been range trading for too long maybe the pattern is quite similar to btc as it is also not showing much volatility.
But the positive thing is that soon we can expect ltc and other top coins like btc or eth to break out of this range and from then on we can expect the bulls to control the market.
85  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DeFi Bubble Burst? on: October 09, 2020, 08:06:42 PM
Do not feel bad guys especially those in with the top defi tokens they will recover soon.
Also with massive defi infrastructure under development and some top professionals working to enhance defi ecosystem i am confident that all the good defi projects will do well over long term.
86  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My take on DeFi bounties on: October 09, 2020, 07:20:16 PM
Almost 99 percent of DeFi projects in bounty section are scam, you can say I have no prove but this is just my normal thought.

1. Why are almost all bounties released today DeFi projects?
2. Most of these projects have no information about team
( They are complete anonymous)
3. Majority of them are rushed, you can judge merely looking at website domain and designs
4. There are some that based on Uniswap wannabes

You can't compare these projects with real DeFi projects like introduced bounties like Oikos, Lattice, DIA, and few others, my advice is to be extremely picky after doing research
I am glad that most part of defi hype is over and now non serious projects will be completely wiped out of the market and this was suggested by all experienced members even during massive hype and trend of defi where fake projecgs were making easy free money because people were in fomo and chasing every new project without even reading about it. From now on only quality will matter and only top projects will be able to sustain.
87  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to move on if you've failed to meet the due date of a bounty campaign on: October 09, 2020, 05:54:32 PM
It has happened to me quite a few times but i do not think that we can blame anyone else especially when the manager has announced the time for weekly form filling and usually it is 2-3 days which is ample time to fill the weeks work.
Mostly it happens when someone is promoting too many projects so he can easily forget about a couple every week. I have stopped promoting a lot of projects and stick with only a few at a time.
88  Other / Archival / Re: Review of Several New DeFi Services on: October 05, 2020, 07:36:47 PM
Really nicely put together and it is amazing to see so many good quality projects being developed in the defi sector. Obviously there are dozens of low quality and fake projects launching regularly as well but i see you have chosen and listed quality projects which is the right thing to do.
89  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DeFi: liquidity mining with Obyte. on: October 05, 2020, 06:13:47 PM
Looks smooth but  we need to wait and see how well this platform builds trust in the market because there have been many scams recently in this sector so i would only like to deposit in liquidity pools only if i see a quality platform with good returns.
90  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can new crypto beat Eth in the market? on: October 04, 2020, 10:32:09 PM
There are many crypto token listed in coinmarketcap and been traded in top exchanges like binance, Yobit and lDex exchange which people consider as proficient enough in the cryptocurrency market and knowing well that Eth is ranking number 2 position in the coinmarketcap, let's discuss Do you think that any new crypto currency overtake Eth in times of price value can that be possible?
Anything is possible but i think thay ethereum's number 2 rank looks solid to me and i do not see it being replaced by anyother coin even after many years and Eth 2.0 will even strengthen Ethereum's position in the market and value is also expected to explode in coming months due to massive developments in Ethereum network and also due to bull market.
91  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KUCOIN Hacked on: October 04, 2020, 09:11:47 PM
Singapore-based cryptocurrency exchange KuCoin today underwent a hot wallet hack, hacker managed to bring in about 157 million dollars, but luckily kucoin cold wallet is safe and all hacked funds will be completely replaced by kucoin.

Once again, cybersecurity is MANDATORY in the current crypto environment

Hacker wallet https://etherscan.io/address/0xeb31973e0febf3e3d7058234a5ebbae1ab4b8c23
source https://www.kucoin.com/news/en-kucoin-security-incident-update
The positive update is that the CEO of kucoin has announced that they have caught the hacker and recovered most of the funds, I do not have more details and i hope they will update us with the identity details of the hacker in next updates but it is encouraging to know that funds are recovered so that in future such people will be discouraged to do such crimes.
92  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trying to invest in Binance on: October 04, 2020, 06:57:04 PM
I think all the coins you have short listed or looking to invest are good and personally i have good opinion about them too but considering your small budget I would suggest you to pick only cheaper coins from the list as it will give you more satisfaction and more gains when bull run is here so my suggestion would be Tron, Vet and Harmony.
93  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's your HODL and favorite project on: October 03, 2020, 08:44:41 PM
When you invest in any project in Crypto what did you look before investing?

I have checked:

Team

What are they offering?

What solutions they are providing?

What milestone have they achieved in the past?

Have they completed any promise?

Community

Social media research

Those are the point I checked before investing in any project.

Did I leave anything?

Also, What is the coins or tokens that are good right now? What are you HODL? Explain why you choose that?

Personally I invest in Phore, Chainlink, and LTC. Phore and Chainlink for my Defi craze and LTC and Bitcoin are my other bags.

What's your thought?

#Bitcoin #Binanace #Phore #Chainlink #Litcoin #Ethereum #Ripple #Defi #Blockchain #Crypto
In the end it is all about practicality of the project which can be checked by the use cases, demand in the market, large userbase, massive daily usage, popularity, big community of supporters and constant maintenance and upgrades by the active dev team. All these factors define a successful project to me that is why i always prefer the top coins.
94  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: There is coin who Will compete with very soon on: October 03, 2020, 08:06:01 PM
There is one coin who Will do that.

Its called monero!

Soon it Will move to top market Cap coins.

Lol I forget to mention that economy knowledge is Not a limit of my knowledge
I do not know how big you want to see monero, you should have posted your price or market cap targets so we could have commented if they are realistic or not.
Monero is already big my friend especially in its own category of privacy basee coins perhaps it is the biggest and most usee one.
95  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your opinion on VeChain (VET) on: October 03, 2020, 07:14:03 PM
The marketcap is already big for vet but always remember that it is only one factor while there are many factors at work so i still believe vet will do well and hodlers will be making good money in the end. VET is already working with successful companies and businesses and its revenue will grow even bigger in coming years so i think vet is a worthwhile project to hold.
96  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Anyone looking at YLAB presale? This could be the next YFI on the defi market on: October 03, 2020, 06:34:49 PM
Why would you prefer this new project?
Does it provide you with any extra benefits or features?
Does it provide better or higher yield farming returns?
Can we stake single coin?
Can we take our coins anytime we want hassle free?
Please answer these questions for better understanding and compliance of investors.
97  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Cryptospace is getting Worst on: October 02, 2020, 10:19:40 PM
Imagine a NEW crypto with the Name 'Rope' has a trading volume of over 5 millions usd on uniswap. A visit to the website 'https://rope.lol/" has a BOLD Image of a hanging rope with further inscription 'Do not buy it' followed with a grinding face that looked like someone who got scammed.

In a summary, the webpage is saying. do not buy 'ROPE' you could loose everything and you will regret it. But the reverse is the case.  As a matter of fact. this token made 118%
within 24 hours of listing and have a volume of 5 millions usd on Uniswap.
My observation on this. Most people no longer care about the objectives of a project. they just want to Make GAINS.
the days of do your Research is fast diminishing and most market users cared less about what they do with their money that they can invest on a project with BOLD description "this is a scam' as long as there is a return.

i tried to trade the token but after visiting the site, i lost my little sense in trading on uniswap.

BE CAREFUL....
.
I do not know how people get attracted to all these ponzis while i thought that crypto supporters are here to support this advanced technology.
All these crypto based ponzis that we keep seeing often like forsage, lionshare and many tron based too are doing nothing but damaging the reputation of the mainstream, real crypto projects because such ponzi base projects create a whole lot impression of crypto being a ponzi in general which is far from being true but sadly it does have this negative impact.
98  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A new 10x Yield farming gem on uniswap called $YLAB on: October 02, 2020, 09:00:49 PM
The concept is good but personally i am a bit careful now wspecially after so many defi projects and mostly with y at the start have rug pulled or exit scammed recently.
I will encourage your team to stand out and deliver in the market but currently i will watch from the sidelines only.
99  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is UniSwap the most powerful in the Defi market? on: October 02, 2020, 08:10:50 PM
It’s just 10 days back that DeFi protocol Uniswap launched their Uni token and now Uniswap becomes the first DeFi protocol to cross $2 Billion.

Read more: https://www.worldcoinindex.com/news/defi-protocol-uniswap-crosses-2-billion-in-total-value-locked

Will Uniswap remain it's top position or is this just a hype?
Do you know that trading volume on uniswap platform has also grown over 100% in september which just goes to show that the real investors and traders are being attracted to uniswap now and all its growth in recent times confirms this.
100  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Decentralized exchange volumes hit $23.5 billion in September on: October 02, 2020, 07:36:46 PM
Uniswap has proven to be a game changer and revolutionary platform especially when we talk of decentralized exchange platforms. It is also a fact that due to the revenue earning part through yield farming this type of dexes are popular and market is seeing it as a X factor that gives it an edge over ots competitors.
