1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Spells of Genesis - Innovating the Game Economy with BitCrystals (BCY) on: October 13, 2018, 08:57:57 AM
Well bittrex just delist bcy Huh

The BTC-BCY market will be delisted on 10/26/2018

Any of you good enough to paste a link to Bittrex announcement about this here?
If it's true liquidity of BCY will be much lower but as long as development of the game continue there is nothing to really worry about. In next bull run it might get listed on another big exchange.

Monero (XMR) could pump hard next week! 18th oct hardfork  Roll Eyes
Hardfork again, really?
which sort of main purposes of the coming hardfork (18th of Oct)?
If I remembered exactly, the XMR had forked months ago.
Yes, Monero community has agreed to make hardforks regularly. But they are all expected and collectively accepted by community. If you want to evolve you need to make changes.
With this fork Bulletproofs will be added which should result in lower fees and other new features. Read this https://www.reddit.com/r/Monero/comments/9igfub/what_does_the_hard_fork_on_the_18th_of_october/ to get more info.

Welcome to Blockmaster telegram group. https://t.me/BlockmasterSi

The group serves as a unified telegram group for ARCO,NEVA,LANA,TAJ and NETKO blockchain projects.

We are merging into the unified group to bring our communities together. Managing multiple telegram groups is becoming a time
consuming task and this time is better spent developing the projects.

4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: October 02, 2018, 05:30:52 PM
Just 3 months left in 2018. Anyone want to make predictions for the xmrusd price on 31 Dec 2018? I'm guessing $175.

I temporary stopped with my predictions. I predicted Bitcoin bottom for September but it did not happened. Too disappointed to take new predictions. If Monero will not go over 0.03 btc then we will not see Monero over $200 for sure. Luckily 2019 starts day after. And with that at probably 3 years with a positive monero price.

Yeeaaahhhh, but we need a number, so ask your crystalball and give it to us  Grin
I think he lost his crystal ball and now he is waiting to get new one, then he will make new "predictions". Tongue
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: LoCoins - Buy and sell coins locally. Fast and safe! on: September 28, 2018, 02:46:39 PM
I hope so. But as I see the regulations that are cumming it might become very difficult to buy any amount of crypto anonymously... Sad
All you need to buy crypto "anonymously" is a person who is willing to sell you crypto directly. No law can prohibit this. Smiley

Which local payment methods you accept
What do you mean? Please read OP first.

As i understood, your services is only available for Slovenian users (users in Slovenia), so i want to know about future plans to extand the service for other countries and suggest you to translate this thread to Slovenian language and post it in local Slovenian board.
Yes, for now it's only available in Slovenia. They would want to expand throughout whole Europe and beyond (neighbour countries will probably be priority for core team). But one of the problems is dealing with regulators/laws regarding crypto currencies in different countries (almost every country has different laws). Another difficulty they have is getting in touch with local shops/businesses. They can't just call someone or travel blindly and hope for the best.
So that's why they want to get some people from different countries to help them. They also offer some kind of affiliate program (for now it works more on case to case basis). If you (or anyone else) are (is) interested in connecting new partners with LoCoins you can write me a PM and I'll connect you with founders of LoCoins.
About translate and posting - I don't think it's really necessary to translate it in Slovene (at least for now) but I will think about it and when I'll have time I may write it. We don't have our own board and I've already posted link to this thread in Slovene topic.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: LoCoins - Buy and sell coins locally. Fast and safe! on: September 22, 2018, 03:05:35 PM
How is LoCoins going to tackle the upcoming regulations and help keep their customers anonymous? Will buying crypto anonymously even be possible in the future?
They will work according to latest laws. So if regulations won't allow customers to be anonymous, they won't offer anonymous purchases.
There will probably be a maximum amount you can buy anonymously so I assume you will still be able to use LoCoins but only up to limits.
I think regulation is necessary for adoption of crypto as people will trust them more after proper rules will be set and there won't be any guessing what you can and can't do.
7  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [Motivation] A little extra effort will pay you in long run on: September 22, 2018, 02:54:18 PM
I would add some things.
1. Also watch Youtube videos explaining things you are interested in. You can find some very good videos, you can also find channels which are constantly publishing good and informative videos.
There are a lot of better resources than Cointelegraph and Coindesk.
2. Some mega threads can also be very good resources and starting point.  But those who are about certain project you're interested in, not threads like "Did bitcoin bull run begin".
5. I agree with this 100% don't chose sig. campaigns for which you know you will have to shit post. Many campaigns are paying per post now. So don't always aim for maximum (if you can't).

The Monero Moon – A new curated weekly newsletter regarding all things Monero (Issue 2)

https://medium.com/@johnfoss/the-monero-moon-issue-2-c1e4e945ba14

just read a bit. Headlines and intros. Very nice. I assume you are the author or involved? Merits send. Good stuff

Yes I am.

I'll try publish an issue every Monday, however there will also be periods when I might skip a week and publish a fortnightly issue instead.

An update every 2 weeks is good, since you are doing this for free.
Have you think about creating mailing list? Observer was informing us also via e-mail that new issue was published. I liked that.
However you post links to new issues on many different media so no need to rush with e-mails. Just a suggestion. Smiley

10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Age of Rust - Blockchain Adventure Game w/ RUSTBITS and GAME CARDS on: September 21, 2018, 07:33:56 AM
We got a lot of questions on whether our future city flying-car clip was in-game engine or a pre-rendered movie.  It's all playable in-game engine, here's another preview:

Video clip: https://vimeo.com/291008515

This game is actually looking pretty good. I thought it will be more like old school adventure game where you only "move" through pictures.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SNC] SunContract - Open Energy Market FIRST P2P ENERGY TRADING IS LIVE!!!! on: September 21, 2018, 07:28:24 AM
SunContract is going to be listed on a new exchange Kriptomat that will open another fiat/SNC pair and allow mainstream users to easily buy SNC tokens.

https://twitter.com/kriptomat/status/1041707487676784643

Kriptomat will be the  fiat gateway on SNC platform?  I remember in past it was said there will be one, but i forgot if it was added or not.
You can already deposit on platform using SEPA remittance. But I guess two way trading will first be possible on Kriptomat. Volume probably won't be very high but having a FIAT pair is always good. Smiley
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: September 21, 2018, 07:19:57 AM
Monero used to look very good, but over the past year, it has become less interesting, although I think it makes sense to hold it for another year and sell it on the growth. Who thinks anything about it, is there a charge for this coin on ToTheMoon?
Can you elaborate on bolded part? Are you talking about price or interest?

I am a TRADER and sometimes also a HOLDER and recently I learned more about profitable investments from SITE and BOT (telegram) but all are scams
Recently appeared a BOT Mining Cloub (app telegram) I noticed many reviews about it and also tried to invest 60 $ and the results are quite good. I plan to invest 1 BTC in this BOT. Everyone let me comment on it

You told us nothing so it's really hard to comment anything... Usually this kind of stuff end badly (lending/cloud mining/bots etc).
What I wanted to say is BE VERY CAREFUL! Crypto space is full of all kinds of scams and once transaction is sent there is no going back.

... I agree, I just always add the link with my signature.

You could find more information about the game "ŕ table !" in my previous post linked just above by 7jaka7 (thanks  Wink ) ...

Have you ever thought about real signature with this info? I think whole discussion would be more transparent and easier to read, while still providing all the links.
If you are interested tell me and I can make a simple signature with relevant links if necessary.

No problem, glad to help. Smiley

A lot of support from Digibyte fans under comments in OP. Good to see.
Can anyone describe a story of DGB and Binance? (When they first applied? How many times? Officially or just community try? Did they reply with reasons for not listing it?)

Interested in this too and it might be good to add that to the above tweet too.

I understand the frustration but I don't think this tweet was the smartest move. DigiByte will do good either way, but Binance still could have been a nice extra source of liquidity and volume for DGB.

There is no real liquidity on Binance, it's wash trade warehouse! They make their money from listing fees, that we have never paid and never will. I totally believe there will come a time in the not too distant future, that the whole DigiByte community will be glad they couldn't lose their DGB on this exchange. It perverts the whole crypto market scene!

Anyway, you wanted to know about DigiByte attempts to get on it so......

https://medium.com/@josiah_digibyte/on-going-listing-attempts-for-binance-684a0faf1a1b
I couldn't agree more with this policy of not paying any exchange anything. No one has paid for BTC listing on any exchange. So if listing fees are main business income for exchange they should ask themselves some questions about their future.
Thank you for link!

6000 confirmation?  Huh heu lol crazy
That really is a lot, if you take 15s on average for 1 block confirmation this comes to 25 hours, more then one day. That is too much, but safety should be n.1 priority so that's what we must go through.
18  Other / Meta / Re: Where to post? on: September 19, 2018, 10:56:14 AM
I just have a quick question just to make sure I'll post new topic in the correct board/ child board.
I am going to make a description of a service called LoCoins - https://locoins.io/. It's basically a platform with which you can buy/sell cryptocoins in your local shop. They currently operate with 4 currencies - BTC, LTC, BCH and ETH. If further description is needed I will be happy to tell more.
So I was looking for the right place to post it.
I would pick "Bitcoin Forum > Economy > Marketplace > Service Announcements". Can someone just confirm me that this is the most suitable one? Thanks!
Since it has BTC then I guess you are on the correct page. Service announcement should be a good choice for you. By the way, good luck with your project.

I see another possible board which is Bitcoin Forum > Bitcoin > Project Development. The description says...
Quote
Organization of Bitcoin and related projects, bounty campaigns, advertising etc.
It's not my project, but will forward your wishes to it's founders. Smiley
Topic made in service announcement, I think it is more suitable as project development.

If anyone want to check it out: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5032638.msg45899893#msg45899893.
Locking this topic now.

20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: LoCoins - Buy and sell coins locally. Fast and safe! on: September 19, 2018, 10:20:18 AM
So in order to start a discussion I wanted to share my personal experience with LoCoins.
Yesterday I sold some ETH using LoCoins. I already had account so I just needed to find suitable shop for selling. Since Ljubljana is not very big I've chosen a shop with smallest fees: MM GLOBAL - Trade WTC. They have same fees for all currencies either you are buying or selling them - 4%, which I think is not a lot for OTC trades. Definitely less then bitcoin ATM's.
Once I've selected the shop and amount I wanted to sell, I've sent ETH [1] to specified address and went to the shop. Meanwhile transaction got accepted, so when I came to shop (they had LoCoins logo beside their doors Smiley) seller was already waiting for me. He knew exactly what I came for so we were done very quickly. And I was done. Quick and safe, just what they are promising. Smiley I think if I would already had an account made, be at the shop, use ETH (for it's fast confirmation times) I would be done in 2-3 minutes.

[1] Don't send ETH from exchanges! Also when buying don't put exchange address as address to receive coins!
