1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Ethereum Classic: Withdrawing pre-DAO fork funds from a wallet contract? on: April 17, 2017, 01:51:04 PM
Hello,

I'm in a bit of a struggle and would apprecieat help from any1 on this.

I had pre-DAO fork coins in a smart wallet (set up on Mist).  I would like to withdraw them but I cannot get the freaking mist application to sync the blockchain!  It is excruciatingly slow!  I even tried syncing from the geth client executing it with --oppose-dao-fork switch using a VPN to ensure it's not my ISP filtering out P2P traffic. Also enabled forwarding port 30303...still very slow sync.  Been running for 3 weeks already and I'm only up to block 2 million something

So I decided to change approach and interact with my wallet contract using the contract tool provided via https://classicetherwallet.com/

I'm not sure what value should go in the "_value" field?  I thought that was for the amount to be withdrawn so I put '1' for 1 ether but the transaction posted on the blockchain with 0 ether.  What am I missing?  Can someone please guide me through this?  Any help would be greatly appreciated
