Oobit Wallet - new Swap feature for direct trade of one cryptocurrency for another
Just to be clear, users are required to do the KYC process even if they would "only" use this wallet for sending and receiving transactions?

I believe after contacting the company the answer is yes.

Looks like it's heavily inspired by Blockchain.com's platform Wink

They tried to combine the best of all platforms for a complete solution

Cryptocurrency under your control
IMO, the part I've highlighted in red is misleading.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Crypto Legislation – The First Step to Legitimizing Crypto? on: April 12, 2018, 08:28:51 AM

The increasing interest by governments towards developing cryptocurrency and ICO legislation is unsurprising given the crypto-economies recent rise in overall market value and popularity.

While ICOs have been around since 2013, it was only around May 2017 that investors really began to show an interest in these hi-tech ventures.

This trend seems to be continuing, as ICO funding from this year has already topped the entire total earnings of last year (~$3,9 Billion USD for 2017 vs. ~$5.5 Billion USD as of mid-April 2018). The current total market cap is at ~$260 Billion USD from ~$16.8 Billion USD in December 2016 (CoinMarketCap).

In light of this, it’s not surprising that so many major economic powers have been moving towards legislating ICOs. Indeed, 2017 already saw significant legislative activity from countries such as China, Russia and South Korea (Read More). Other countries have been following suit.

5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Has The Bitcoin Bubble Burst? Learn Why There is Current Instability on: March 21, 2018, 04:03:43 PM
I don t think there is a bubble anymore in BTC but other coins are over valued in my opinion

I think the majority believe that BTC has some value but the other cryptos are a different story
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Has The Bitcoin Bubble Burst? Learn Why There is Current Instability on: March 21, 2018, 12:47:16 PM
Is the Bitcoin Bubble Over?

As you begin reading this article, you will notice that I use the term Bitcoin Bubble. In reality we are takng about the whole Crypto Bubble including Cryptocurrencies, Tokens and ICOs.

Anyone tracking Bitcoin and other cryptocurrency since December, will have noticed a trend of extreme price swings, with BTC ranging from $20,042.90 USD on December 17, 2017 to $6135.56 USD on February 6, 2018. Of course, the price drops are hardly surprising given recent announcements such as major players Facebook and Google moving to ban ICO ads, as well as major hacking scandals on various exchange platforms and crypto-wallets.

Perhaps, what is more note-worthy, is that all of these scandals only caused momentary price changes (at least since February). The effect of the bubble craze and Tether scandals in December are still clearly evident, despite its having no apparent negative effects on Tether USDT’s prices or usage on exchanges.

As far I know a twitter profile has some followers not friends. So, where can I find the number of friends from my twitter account?

Followers is what it is referring to.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / A Tool that helps you maximize Crypto Returns - Introducing Pareto on: November 13, 2017, 11:25:40 AM
The Pareto Network incentivizes the generation and sharing of information about tradable opportunities in cryptocurrencies and related assets. It is designed to elevate information about market inefficiencies and deliver more accurate price discovery within emerging crypto assets. It replicates the function of research desks at investment banks, provides a flow of analytic information, and aligns economic incentives around access to this information as a service.

The Pareto Network is the first real-time actionable intelligence platform, providing decentralised investment analysis through their peer-to-peer content marketplace, from content providers who can provide the technical skillset and analysis need to conduct due diligence of this emerging asset class.  It will enable participants to make informed investment decisions in the cryptocurrency markets.  The Pareto network is made of three parts: Original analytical content from Content Providers, the Pareto Platform which distributes content, and Token Holders who received the content based on their ranking by the platform, determined by the number of tokens they hold.

9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trading or ICO on: November 13, 2017, 11:19:31 AM
Hi, everyone. I got about $5000 to invest in crypto. Which one is more secure and profitable: trade crypto (yes, I'm a newbie) or invest in ICO?
I've made my own research and investing in several ICO's seems more attractive for me, but want to know your opinions Wink

That is the million dollar question (or $5,000).  I think it is a combination of both.

There is a great PreSale open, Pareto Network.  They aim at giving Crypto investors real actionable trading news to help you grow your crypto profits.

Check out their thread:

You should have a look at Neufund that will announce a new format called ICBM -  Initial Capital Building Mechanism.

You actually keep your money and receive their token.

Really interesting and different.

19  Economy / Securities / Re: Best IPO/ICO Platform ? on: October 15, 2017, 12:27:00 PM
There is a new and exciting format of what is traditionally known as an ICO. Neufund will be announcing its ICBM - Initial Capital Building Mechanism.  You participate in the ICBM and receive their Neumark Tokens, but your money is still your own.  How does this work?  Neufund is actually a platform built on the blockchain that is for companies to sell their equity on the platform to interested investors.

When you contribute to the ICBM, your money is not taken by Neufund, but rather held for you for your future investment in these companies, that are called Equity Token Offerings (ETO).

You receive the Neumarks at the time of participation in the ICBM, which has value on its own as all Neumark holders share in a portion of every future ETO token launched on the Neufund platform.
