Based on Charlie Lee's twitter it looks like a fork is highly likely. Brace for roller coaster ride.

ETH's good time is yet to come. Just hold up and wait for 1 more year. When all those new apps built on ethereum come to the market, ETH as the base will then really outshine others. Just HODL

Dogecoin has a strong supporting community and well developed network. Its fast and reliable confirmation and cheap tx fee are outstanding among the thousands of alt coins. I  can't say if and when its price will go up, but I do believe it'll stay alive.

ether won't die. on the contrary, it will grow and surpass btc with more and more projects built on it. don't forget it also has erc20 standard tailored for it. any serious new development will choose eth over btc.

i doubt it'll be widely adopted because no central banks in their right mind would design a crypto in the classic sense. it will be more like xrp and with even more controls. the mass crowd will shun from it.

I prefer simpler traditional ico. This one is just too complex for me. We'll see a lot of complaints.

ETH is going to be great. The current situation can be resolved eventually. Almost all new coins are built on top of ETH. I don't see a reason for us to abandon it now.

What's OP complaining about? Can't people have a little private time and fun? The crypto world should be an informal one. I for myself won't trust a guy in an expensive suit to create a great crypto coin. Let's all have fun!

Is it a good time to buy now? The USD markets of big exchanges seem to have come to a stop. Are new funds not coming any more?

One must defined a set of criteria for "good", "bad", "better" concerning altcoins since most of the common sense seem to stop functioning in this area. I often feel quite confused how to judge one coin from another.

The campaign feels weird and greedy. Too complex and time consuming for me. Pass!

Update: ShapeShift has started looking into my cases. It turned out a few transactions were actually completed but the payments were delayed and buried in the deposit history unnoticed. Other cases are also being handled by them. Slowly got my confidence about ShapeShift back.

Did some trades in ShapeShift 3 days ago but never received anything from them. Logged a case, and after 3 long days' waiting, finally received a good news, at least it sounds line one, from the company about the funds frozen in limbo. They claimed all locked up ETH funds and related tokens have been sent out. Sounds great! But my wallet is still quiet. Still no funds coming home. Looks like my wait has to continue.

The current market situation proves one thing: cryto has outgrown itself. The existing designs apparently can't sustain the mass public's interest. I think the cryto masters should quickly find a solution to unify the cryto confirmation networks which are running mostly in silo mode. We need a crypto's Swift network.

My trades stuck in shapeshift. After logging a case, they told me it might take 24 hours to clear the queue and that's not for sure
