I came to a realization that government had stepped in already in some countries who are accepted and acknowledge cryptocurrency existence. In fact they made a regulations that has made some negative and positve reactions over the implementation of cryptocurrency regulations like doing KYC (Knoy Your Client) on local exchanges, Registering ICO projects to the government agency concerns and etc which purpose is to prevent illegal or abuse in the use of cryptocurrency from money laundering, funding terrorist groups and etc. Well can you say about this regulations, GOOD or BAD?
I think regulation is good sign because it gives freedom to people for using crypt currencies with no government threat but still there are a lot of needs to be done. |

Following new last week that billionaire investor Steven Cohen was said to have put money into a hedge fund focusing on crypto, Bitcoin et al. are extending gains today following headlines that BlackRock has formed a team to look into ways to take advantage of the cryptocurrency market and blockchain. In the last week we have seen the owner of Switzerland’s securities exchange in Zurich say it’s creating a platform for trading digital assets. Then, according to Fortune, none other than billionaire Steve Cohen has decided to join the bitcoin party and has invested in a Autonomous Partners, a relatively new hedge fund that is acquiring both cryptocurrencies and blockchain-related companies. And now, as Financial News reports, the world's largest asset manager will examine whether the manager of $6.3 trillion of assets should invest in Bitcoin futures. It is also reportedly reviewing what competitors are doing with cryptocurrencies and how it would affect its business. Notably, the formation of the team marks a change for the company after CEO Larry Fink said in October cryptocurrencies are a speculative platform in Asia and heavily used for money laundering. He has also said Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies were “far from” being an opportunity for institutional investors, and none of BlackRock’s clients wanted to invest in it, according to Financial News. And all of this comes after JPMorgan, Fidelity, and CME among others have stepped into the crypto mix. Bitcoin has spiked back above $6500, back at one-week highs...  And the rest of the crypto space is rising also - led by Bitcoin Cash... Here is one explanation for bitcoin's rise above $6500 that I've seen. Are there other events or circumstances which could explain the recent price appreciation we've witnessed? I still suspect the value of bitcoin is being pushed down via market manipulation (and perhaps institutional investors) although I still have no solid evidence for this. It should be mentioned that pushing the price down and scaring HODLers into selling could be the best strategy to create an accumulation stage where institutional investors are able to "buy in" before the next pump and dump phase. Anyways does anyone have an idea as to what is going on here?  This is not the reason for bitcoin price spiked. There will be big decisions bitcoin ETF on 10 August and people started accumulation mostly financial institutions. If SEC approves it than BTC will be double triple in next 2 months. |

Back in October this was such an amazing and promising prospect, but you can feel people really lost their attention and it seems VTC has become a bit of a forgotten chapter. It has such great potential, but it needs to get back in the spotlights somehow. Great community on Discord, but that’s not enough I’m afraid.. You are right about this idea. This is really the case that is happening generally though there are exemptions, as people go on investing without really taking note of what was the real market for the chosen digital coins. If everyone is just holding and no actual usage then the result will be likened to a prey and a predator. The ones who have invested are waiting for new ones to come in and get out with the earnings or profit and value then goes low. The new ones will be trapped and they will be waiting and gets out just the same. This is the scenario for some. There are coins that are really pushing their products such that the investor is certain that he will certainly gain from it. This is what a coin should be. One that is utilized to gain profit.
This happen with every market like stock etc. With the mainstream usage of blockchain, These things will be eliminated and Top coins specially smart contracts and Application platforms will gain value on basis their usage. |

Is it really possible ? I heard a youtuber making video on it by using bitmex.... is it really a good option to trade on bitmex using 100x leverage? Seeing the risk/reward ratio it looks tempting but the risk looks far more haunting
I will not recommend you to trade on Bitmex, Its same like forex you etither win or loose everything. There are big players on Bitmex that can manipulate the price anytime and it involved huge risk in leverage trade. |

I'm a 21-year-old college student. They say Bitcoin is an invention that will change the world and benefit mankind. In the past two months, I wrote dozens of emails to the leaders and celebrities in this field to try to raise money for my sister's surgery which can save her life. But they all choose a silent treatment, there was no reply. The same thing happened on Twitter. It seems that all they concerned about is how to fish for fame and compliments. Maybe this is the real world.
Sorry to heared about your sister but famous people don't have time to read email. You should try to get help from NGOs in your country. They can raise fund for u. |

I would like to know is anyone really using bots for trading? I have tried some bots from Github in the past, but mostly just lost money with them (mostly because I was using them In the bull run and the bot didn't konw how to handle high jumps accordingly, making me lose money).
It seems bots are fine for stock trading since they are more stable and predictable, but mostly fail for crypto trading.
So is anyone really using bots for trading crypto? What software are you using? Did it ever screw you up with a trade?
If bots make money or give profit than everyone stop learning technical Analysis and start buying bots. There is no easy way to make money. Go and learn something. |

I'm gonna be honest with you all , i have been trading/investing since 2017.
I earned about 110.000 by trading and basically lost it all, i decided to sell the rest and just quit. I'm gonna explain why, this cryptocurrency market
is very manipulative and can easily be controlled and it will never stop. The icos/alts will always keep sucking all the btc cash so it will always be hard for btc to grow and
dominate.
This market is made to make money and profit from noobs it's like a bitconnect scheme. Every dollar that is made by someone, someone will lose money. Every dollar that
is made in this system will be sold to fiat and if there is low btc buy power it will mean that btc will only keep going down. This market is basically made to make
money from new users like a scheme. For example can you actually believe that if you would've put 10k usd into bitconnect you would have a monthly return of about 4500
every month by lending? This is unbelievably high which again means for every btc/dollar you lend out into this cryptocurrency system = someone will lose money that's
the main reason this market won't be there for long. Because it's basically a pyramid scheme.
I am agree with your few points but if sec approves bitcoin ETF than big money will come in this market and many top Altcoins and bitcoin price will make new ATH. |

Yes, economy will grow forever because many natural resources can be recycle. But input/output efficiency rate should be increase in which more substances will be recycle. Third world countries should need to stop their population. And increase their industrial infrastructure.

The community appears to be somewhat dead after the re-Launch. I figure a great many people left after the landfill or were simply unsettle by the relaunch - which lets be realistic brought nothing that much for esteem for a time of work. I am sad however a Logo, Site and Lisk Hub isn't a ton for a time of work with the cash and size of group you have LISK HQ.
