Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to know if the project is fake?
|
on: July 19, 2020, 07:02:08 PM
|
1. Check for plagiarism 2. Check when the project start development, if it's same year as 2020 and few months ago be more careful 3. If the project is listed on exmarket, p2pb2b, latoken, vindax the project is undeniable useless 4. Check real profile of the team on social media, make sure they have more than one pictures of real self 5. Ask impressive questions about development and future plans
Best point so far IMO. Plagiarism, exchange where a project is going to list or conduct IEO and profile are very important when choosing a project. A good project won't plagiarize other or list on list in shitty exchange. You will observe professionalism when you see a good project.

Thank goodness i have never used this VPN. One really have to be careful selecting VPN to use. I'd rather use TOR or DuckDuckGo. Some VPN services are very shitty anf same thing goes for social media accounts.

The hack incident won't have any effect on crypto because it's scamming and the currency doesn't matter in my opinion. Twitter is the one that has a lot to do about their level of security. That's a lot to happen in a day. Reputation of the users that were hacked have been tarnished to some of the scam victims.

Truly speaking, bounty hunters are the most frustrated and disappointed set of hustlers here, airdrop sometime but less work. Hunters participate in campaigns for three months and still end up with rewards of $5, this is crazy. So you are absolutely lucky if you get at least $20 from bounty.
Most time the worth of reward drops due to price dump and to make it more worse, the bounty hunters are the one blamed even after they sold tons of tokens to investors cheaply during presales. I can bet with my account here that 90% of the said quality projects NEVER Conduct bounties. i said and i will repeat, most New projects listed on quality exchanges do not conduct bounties. many has failed to conduct COMMON Airdrops. whether you research OR NOT, we are left with campaigns looking for fame here and have little or nothing to offer.
If you are too hungry to join bounty campaign without checking their legitimate, you will never get a good one. In 2018, yahoo62278 brought mb8coin, in 2019 Hhampuz brought temtum. There were some other good projects too which I can not remember at the moment. If you are patient enough, you will get good campaign for sure. Good bounties like those only get to come around once in a while. Hhampuz and Yahoo62278 manages good bounties not like some managers that accept every bounty that comes there way.

The answer here is no. If there's, then everyone will be rich by now. There's always a risk in every every investment and you should know that as an investor. Banks investment, stocks, shares are all risky. You can do your own research and stop looking to take financial advice from people on internet.

Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Oldest scam in the book can help you make money

In my opinion these people that got their money scammed shouldn't receive any help because they are too blinded by the riches the scammers promised them, I have seen a lot of scams and this victims of bitcoin doubling scam should be ridiculed and laughed at because they have fallen for these, I am standing by that opinion because most of these victims are functioning members of the society, they are not your run of the mill old people getting scammed by tech support scammers, these so called innocent victims are not senile, so in my opinion they should not receive sympathy because they are pathetic and gullible, these makes the work of people who are trying to educate people about scams less effective because no matter how much effort they put in, these pathetic gullible losers still fall for it.
You may be right about the scam method used being a old one but remember there are lot of people that doesn't know about some things. You're very harsh and this thread is very unnecessary at this moment because it looks like you're in support of the damage done to the victims. Not all of them is going to learn their lessons anyway but we should watch out for anyone we know with a ponzi mindset.

I'll keep saying this, Google needs to be strict about the app they add to their store. Especially Finance apps. They aren't like Apple. Better to go to official site to download rather than use search bar in Play Store because one might get list of apps with same name there. I checked the link but it keeps loading on Play Store without any result. Seems it has or delisted or something. Can someone confirm?

Very hard to tell though. I can't it as coincidence because the transaction would confirm anyway just longer during wait time. Paid accelerators are a no-go too. They charge a lot more than the transaction amount. It's better to use proper fee and avoid looking for accelerators.

You're tired of ponzi schemes and pyramid schemes because they are scams and yet you still need a good investment with low budget. You're definitely going to blow away your money. Do away with looking for get rich quick mindset. You can invest in Binance Lending platform and earn slow and steady income

what do you think of this wallet?
Exodus is a great wallet though but not open source even though you can export the seed to wallet like Mycellium. Exodus can come in handy while you are using your smartphone. Hardware wallet would be a great option here. The Ledger Nano X is good and can be gotten from official website. Do not buy on sites because it might come with preloaded seeds.

Economy / Scam Accusations / [WARNING] Oqex.io is Running a scam Arbitrage Trading Group
|
on: July 15, 2020, 08:15:10 PM
|
Telegram Group Link https://t.me/arbitragewithcash Exchange Link I was recently added to the telegram group and everything about the group turns out to be scam after I did some research. What they do is drop Arbitrage tips. You buy on Binance and sell on Oqex.io. Firstly, you are not permitted to post except the admin Secondly, only their exchange is where's being suggested to sell after buying. Lastly, this thread poster complained about having withdrawal issues with them. I would advise not to make any deposit on this exchange to avoid losing your coins.

You can access Youtube for this type of informations . There are thousands of video from different content creators . Some of them maybe on your understandings some not.
Also have it in mind that infos from some youtubers can also be misleading. Some runs pump and dump channel and pumps don't always end well. Some gives investment advise, flaunting riches online. They look for referrals for ponzi schemes. We should be careful when sourcing for infos, especially on youtube

They have been taken down, but it doesn't mean they are going to stop. And if these criminals tasted success and had scam hundred if not thousands of dollars, they will repeat the process. So we better watch out for this kind of fake giveaways
Its their habit and they will continue their activities until their death. All they need is just some easy money and they don’t care about victims. Whenever they get some fund from one of their money stealing project it works like a inspiration for them and they work with full confidence to be a millionaire overnight. Scammers have much patience than investors and due to this reason investors are one step behind in the mind game with them. That's their bad habit. They always think they're smarter than everyone. They always find a way to improvise. I noticed something recently about scammers that posts about giveaways under Elon Musk's post. Before, Twitter seems to flagged any fake screenshot with Elon Musk's name, but now, they found a way bypass that by changing the picture quality and everything. We shouldn't give this scammers chance and should always burst them

Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Everyone should read this Bitcoiner's story

This story shows many benefits of how bitcoin can help in situations. He took the opportunity even as an early adopter and escrow deals which he earns from and also made him a reputable member in their community. With Bitcoin, you don't need anyone's permission to transact, it's decentralized. No fees like the banks that takes certain % or fixed amount for withdrawals and deposits.

General meaning of a blockchain is a block of chain where transactions are stored for evidence. You can't delete the records. No one can. Blockchain is very broad and not a thing you can learn in just one day. There a lot of books about blockchain. It's different world entirely.

Biggest joke. Example of funds are not #SAFU If a company like that doesn't know the vulnerability of a web wallet, then they deserve getting low ratings. Haven't even heard of their name before but seeing this news won't even make me go close to them. This hack would affect them because they seem not to much userbase and it's going to affect them.

This is what we call power of social media but it is not meant to use this way. Firstly, it's wrong to give financial advice without a disclaimer which I'm sure he didn't tell his followers. Crypto is very volatile and some followers might have high hopes thinking that's how things work here. I think he's loading off his bags by asking them to buy. I don't even see doge touching 1$ anytime soon.
