421  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Warning, telegram rogue dangerous application created and distributed by scammer on: April 14, 2020, 07:25:27 PM
I want to send this warning to new people, it may be a virus application.

It's a virus application. Actually a clone programmed to steal your details. This is why it's very dangerous to save sensitive information on telegram.
Next time a stranger messages you on telegram and starts discussing about freebies or want you to download a software, use the "block user button ". That's its purpose.
And I suggest telegram should give a warning to block users that send links, files during their first time of sending message.
422  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Where to Start on: April 14, 2020, 06:47:28 PM
Have all the comments written in here (in your thread) answered your question?
I dont think the OP really wants to know more about that question. After getting many answers from users, he hasnt even responded and the OP has been inactive for the past 2 days.

I really think this is not very good for him and I think very many newbie now make threads in their first posts in the forum and then disappear and leave their threads. Behavior like this is completely useless in my opinion, will only add to the list of newbie who are not cooperative.
I noticed this and was about to say it.
Very said he's just making people do research and crack brain for him. He never replied any of the comments and he disappeared a day after. Reason some members doesn't help sometimes.
I think we should make list of users that always disappears after creating threads like this so as not to waste time on them in future.

424  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: A BETTER WAY TO EXCHANGE DIGITAL CURRENCIES. on: April 14, 2020, 07:28:47 AM
In this case, Binance is the best option.
Their fee is very cheap. And they give best withdrawal limit without KYC.
Binance supports almost all countries and they are adding more fiat pairs to their exchange. This makes them the top exchange because they offer best service and support.
425  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When Will You Start Buying Again on: April 14, 2020, 06:45:16 AM
We don't know what will happen to Bitcoin price after this pandemic and even if there will be a bull run, we can't tell how fast it's going to take off.
Right now, price seem to pretty stable, and best is to start accumulating at any opportunity. Better take action now before regretting. Every buy count right now, you will surely make profit after all this is over.
426  Economy / Exchanges / Re: The WORST support ever. Meet Coinbase. on: April 13, 2020, 07:38:22 PM
You should try and resolve whatever the issue is if you already have funds there. You should be careful during this period because there's lockdown ATM, and support can't respond as they used to. I'm sure they also left the KYC to bots which we all know might not be accurate sometimes.
Just hang tight.
427  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Privacy in Bitcoin on: April 13, 2020, 01:50:09 PM
Some of OPs point doesn't add up. There's no privacy in because of it's blockchain and it isn't necessary to know who owns the wallet address because they don't have name a tag but just some alphanumeric characters. The blockchain just serve as a chain where all transactions are stored and can be tracked without losing them or deleting them.
We all that already into the tech already know how it's benefits and must fight for financial freedom and not against it.
428  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This is why bitcoin is unique. on: April 12, 2020, 09:08:29 PM
That's the beauty of BTC and other cryptocurrencies. Many huge transfers like this one has been made from some whales addresses without high fees.
I would have have put it this was since we are dealing in BTC here
"161500.99956979 BTC worth over 1 Billion dollars transferred with a fee of just 0.00010019 BTC worth only 0.7$.
429  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Investing 1$ every day in bitcoin over the last five years on: April 12, 2020, 04:38:43 PM
Yeah, we all know investing in BTC is good but I am see some inaccuracy in the tweet if we are to follow the pattern.
Let's you want to invest 1$ every day for a month, on the first day, let's say BTC is at 1000$ you bought 1$ worth of BTC which is 0.001 BTC at that moment. Day 2, you woke and saw BTC at 1,200$, you bought another 1$ worth of BTC which is 0.0008333333 at that moment. Now you're having 0.0018333333 BTC.
If BTC goes back to 1,000$ you're having 1.8333333$ worth of BTC.
My point is you won't always get same fraction of BTC as the day before because the price changes and you're getting fraction of BTC worth the $ price at the time of purchase.
It's better you save better amount of dollars and buy bulk in my opinion.
430  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Looking Youtube crypto influencers(good payment) on: April 12, 2020, 12:09:43 PM
You could do everything here instead of referring people to telegram where is known as home of scammers.
Two things might happen if you are really looking for influencers through telegram
- If you aren't careful enough, people with inorganic subscribers and going to contact you with mostly cheap offers. Or,
- Impersonators of YouTube influencers are going try to scam you doing their possible best.

And my advice is that who ever is going to contact OP should also be very careful not to get scammed.
431  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: New project new coin on: April 12, 2020, 05:56:07 AM
You could have come up with a different project name and a use case in this period. Your name shouldn't include a virus pandemic and your use case isn't even unique because your whitepaper is not very professional. No tokenmetrics, no team member, only emails and email addresses doesn't have a domain for team.
432  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Starting point projects. Are they worth the hype? on: April 11, 2020, 07:56:18 PM
Numerous projects are out there with so many utilities and trying to focus on new one will only make us have duplicate when we could have embraced a project that has that utility.
It's 2020 and we shouldn't expect any bull run like 2017 because there's no pandemic like this one back then. What should be hoped for right now is stability and slow growth.
433  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stay away from centralized wallets on: April 11, 2020, 04:07:01 PM
The fact that you have lost access to your wallet does not mean that all centralized wallets are bad and not trustworthy. There are many examples of wallets that work for a long time and have an impeccable reputation. The question is always about how you relate to your security, whether there are any gaps or vulnerabilities in your system.
Exactly what I was about to ask now. Centralised wallets aren't secured, yeah, but they can be easily recovered if you forget your details like password. You can also enable 2fa on your wallet but decentralized wallet on the other hand, if you lose your details like private key or phrase, there can't be any support to help you. That's what makes you have control over your wallet.
434  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is it bad to store 24 words from Ledger hardware wallet in password manager? on: April 10, 2020, 09:44:42 AM
I keep this information in notes in different parts of my house, I hope I won't lose anything  Grin
That's one of the best ways to pass phrase and password but it becomes lost once there's a fire outbreak.
Safest method to write them down is by using the metal/steel password managers. It can't get burnt like paper. You can one on cryptosteel.com , it sells for around 74€ and I'm sure it worth it.
435  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Exchanges. How do they work on: April 07, 2020, 09:26:15 PM
You can buy on an exchange like Luno with your Mastercard or Visa card depending on the country you're in because they don't offer their service in all countries. And then you can buy your BTC instantly with the rate offered by them.
Secondly, exchanges like Binance which allows you to set the order price/rate accepts fiat deposits too and you can deposit and make an order for yourself at any rate and wait for an order to match with yours.
Above all, make sure you enable maximum security on your exchange accounts to maximise the risk of getting hacked.
436  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is this A Misdirected Coin? on: April 07, 2020, 06:04:35 PM
I got some bitcoins sent to my exchange wallet. Now, I'm wondering if this is not a mistake. How would I know that this is mine since I'm not expecting payment from someone. Ordinarily, I wouldn't have minded since I ask for donations on my scam review and news site. But this amount is way higher than what I have gotten before now. What would you do under this circumstance since there's no way of contacting the sender?

Depending if it's a legit exchange or not. If it's not a legit exchange, then it's a either you end up being told to deposit some certain amount of coin to be able to withdraw or some other conditions. I wouldn't advise you to do any.
And if it is a legit and reputable exchange, you should contact the support. You should preserve your dignity and not take things into hand because of anonymity.
437  Economy / Services / Re: [CFNP] BestChange Bounty and Signature Campaign on: April 07, 2020, 07:07:26 AM

Are there chances to see more slots for Member rank, Best_Change? I don't want to keep my hope too high if there is no chance to see it.

Thank you for your interest. However, at this moment we are not planning to open new slots for users with Member rank.

I sent you a PM
438  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Crypto over health on: April 06, 2020, 11:50:18 PM
You can't tell or advise holders on what to do with the holdings. I'm sure most of them have enough fiat before deciding to own some cryptos for holding. It won't make sense to sell during this price crash and later regret selling off just because of what they want to eat. Protective kits are important but that doesn't mean you should sell of your assets because of panic.
439  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 100 Dollar Stable Token on: April 06, 2020, 05:28:39 PM
Firstly, you've got a great idea and you shared it. But what I am more concerned about is how do would you keep the price stabe when you said there's going to be a fluctuation(starting price of $1) up 100$ before it becomes stable. And I don't think it's a good idea to to sell the token at the rate of 1$, token price may crash once ×2, x3, or x4 profit has been made by investors.
440  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This is why I sold my 0.67 BTC!! on: April 06, 2020, 02:35:47 PM
Bitcoin is a store of value which exactly what you just did. You needed it and you need no one's permission to sell. You made your choice and I see no reason why you should tell anyone. There are other holders in your situation that has also made same decision. My advise for you is to spend wisely and stay safe.
