Looking at chimk's post history, he's contributed a lot to his Local board. I believe he can achieve the legendary rank in the next 120 days. calculating his merit history, he has received over 160 merits in the past 120 days, so I don't see it as a difficult task for him though.
TMAN's merit would help him rank up quickly though, and I'm sure he would be a legendary member by merit alone.
702  Other / Meta / Re: 10th anniversary art contest on: November 12, 2019, 01:35:50 PM
Small suggestion @theymos, it would be good to create a poll picking the top ten or twenty art works by 22 November 2019 and post it for voting. Through this even the community users can help in choosing the right winner. One who gets the increased number of votes can be rewarded as the winner of the contest.
I don't think that's a good idea because a public poll can easily be manipulated by some forum members and it will be a huge stress for Theymos to manual screening for cheaters.
Even submissions with high merit may not be considered by theymos as winner. Let Theymos decide the winner.
What is the best practice to submit multiple entries?

Better to edit same post and make an indication on each art uploaded
703  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Will You Do To Recover Bitcoin? on: November 12, 2019, 01:05:52 PM
In 2010, you came across a site that was giving away bitcoins. The site said it was free money so you signed up.

A balance on a site is just virtual until it sits in your wallet. Not your keys, not your wallet.
Quote
How would you recover your BTC?
There might be no way to locate such website again because most websites that gave free bitcoin during that time are gone.
Just accept your fate and move on because the biggest mistake you made was leaving it on website.

Dengan memangkas limit post menjadi 5 (penyusutan 50%) maka budget yang harus dikeluarkan otomatis juga akan berkurang sekitar 50% juga.
Itu sebuah strategi yang jitu buat mengurangi spam dan hemat anggaran

Very weird situation with post count. For example, i had got one post counted from yesterday and made today 6 posts. But in my signature page on Yobit it's only shows 4 posts (1 from yesterday and 3 from today), and it seems, that my two last posts will be counted for next day (tomorrow).

Strange.
I got the same thing today. Only 4 posts have been counted for today and the others for the 12th november.  Undecided

Apakah ada yang member yang bermasalah seperti ini?, cuma dicounted 4 post perhari dan dicounted besoknya?
Solusinya mungkin bisa bikin 6 post perhari biar bisa dicounted sisanya besok.

sdmax2018 is a bitcointalk username not a telegram username.
You are reading too fast.

and the post you quoted above shows that the user is telling him about a telegram pm he/she sent.
What I'm saying is that the connection would be clearer if the @sdmax2018 bitcointalk account also mentioned @sande123 as his telegram contact.
Is Andruu the only admin on that bounty group? If so, I guess that should be enough to conclude that they are one and the same person.

Sorry for reading your post wrongly.
Andruu is the only admin in the group and here is a thread where he mentioned his username and his bounty group in the telegram campaign part

It will be a solid proof if you show us a screenshot of the telegram ID and quote a post where he had posted the same telegram ID in here in forum.

You can follow the link to his group and check everything there.
He posts his advert in his group, he doesn't post here.
Edit: I can't quote a post where he mentioned his telegram name because the thread has been locked but here is the link to the thread

710  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How Paxful sellers cash their prepaid gift cards when they sell BTC? on: November 11, 2019, 11:40:14 AM
Lot of trust is needed when transacting Prepaid Cards and Gift Cards with a seller. There's no way to prove if a gift card is valid if the seller already used it. Even reliable sellers sometimes are scam, they reap buyers once in a while after building trust with them.
As the comment above me already stated, buy gift cards from trusted companies.
I spent a lot of time looking for a secure way to buy Google Gift Cards using bitcoin, but almost found nothing. Even in btt forum here, it remains the same trust problem.

There are lot of sites that accepts bitcoin as payment for buying gift cards from them. You can try out Egifter and MySmartPrepaidCard. They have some good reviews.

I've seen so many power sellers on Paxful.com are selling BTC for prepaid VISA & Mastercard gift cardsor Amazon/iTunes cards.
I wonder how they quickly cash or redeem the cards numbers which they get from their buyer because it needs to be transfer the
card balance immediately because the buyer can reuse the card after getting btc, so how sellers quickly cash these gift
cards?
I checked PaxFul for offers on Prepaid cards like MyVanilla and other, there was no offer for almost all the Prepaid card listed on PaxFul. Prepaid card can be used by two or more people and I think that's why there are no much offers.

they will exit scam once new funds are not coming in.
Indeed they will/are.
The details of which method Ronald Aai is employing to attempt that, you will find outlined here.

Oh, I didn't see that actually. Nice thread also BTW.
We should not give these reapers any chance.

Cloud Token days are already numbered just like other ponzis that exited scam.

714  Economy / Scam Accusations / Cloud Token Ponzi Scheme on: November 10, 2019, 04:59:17 PM
So, I saw this thread about cloud token some days ago, and they appear to be a ponzi scam. Cloud Token Wallet promises 6-15% monthly on investment by trading investors funds on an automated trading bot. I don't know if a similar thread has been created concerning this, but here are some red flag about why you should not try to store your funds there.
- You are required to sign up with a sponsor code when creating the wallet. You're given mnemonic phrase( which I think is only for recovery process within the wallet) and some 16 digits login ID.
- Bitcoin transaction takes long to appear on cloud token wallet
- You need to have some CTO in your wallet (which can only be gotten by investing) in order to send crypto out. Imagine saving funds on the wallet. Transaction fee is also ridiculous.
 image loading... <br />
- You can't export your private keys and the only private key you are given is for the ETH wallet and it isn't safe.
- Matching bonus and ranking system bonus is also ridiculous. 100% on first level.

Edit
- No proof for increase in CTO price.

In conclusion, Cloud Token Wallet appears to be an online wallet and a pure ponzi scheme. Forget about the events they have organised or the partnership they have secured, they will exit scam once new funds are not coming in.
NO TO PONZI

Please create a similar thread in the scam section for reference, I just log in this morning in my telegram channel and was surprised that I was added to an airdrop channel and group when I don't remember joining any bounty campaigns or airdrop because I don't like airdrop in the first place, I just leave the group and the channel and reported these two, it sems these people are now more active ib Telegram because they can control the group, compare to this forum.

If you do not want to be added to these random groups, you should change your privacy settings.

Settings > Privacy and Security > Groups and channels > Who can invite you > My Contacts.

I'm not sure if I got the sequence correctly but you should be able to manage once you go to your privacy and security settings.

Fix that part. You got the sequence correctly.

I think moving it to scam section is OK rather than creating another thread for this. Or what do you think?  Smiley

I am writing to inform you all about a scam telegram channel that always share fake exchange airdrop of same pattern to you.
I joined Airdrop Partnership Channel and discovered that they share fake exchange airdrop that organises fake giveaways like “send 0.5 ETH to receive 5 ETH instantly”.
So I decided to join one of Airdrops on the channel, I joined Bittrex Candy Bot . I submitted my ETH address and wrong email address and everything. I joined both group and channel as requested by the bot and here's is the first red flag.
1. Pinned message is about XRP Giveaway with a fake Bittrex domain.
 image

2. I used the search button and discovered that the group was just created this month.
Tap on search.

Same thing with other ongoing airdrops there like HITBTC airdrop and others too.  This channel has been promoting fake airdrops and they are of same pattern. I'm posting this for awareness so that no one else will fall for this scam. I've reported them and you should do the same too.

PS: Sorry for bad English.

Edit: if you know of any telegram group or channel like this one, comment them below and I'll add them to the list.
717  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: VODDs - Frozen account for over 3 weeks. Have they taken all my money? on: November 10, 2019, 09:42:39 AM
allegedly they sent a letter to my home adress yesterday

will report back once  this mess is solved

Best Regards

I have never heard of VODDs before and I will say it's very unprofessional for them to hold such funds for weeks.
If they refuse to solve the problem, you can open a scam accusation thread against them.
718  Economy / Services / Re: CryptoTalk.Org Signature Campaign [Yobit Panel] on: November 10, 2019, 01:52:25 AM
"Because it's a bot."

Ok, I now understand very well what the problem is.
Lot of participants in the campaign but they're making bot do all the work, no wonder it pays spammers.
I hope getting kicked by the bot doesn't mean I am going to be on Yahoo's list of banned participants. Haha...
719  Economy / Services / Re: CryptoTalk.Org Signature Campaign [Yobit Panel] on: November 10, 2019, 01:35:12 AM

discovered that 2 posts was added, 1 paid and the other was not. The posts were not supposed to be counted in the first place because my first post was an application to join roobet and the other post was made after I changed my signature.

So, as you said, you didn't paid for that post after you changed signature. It probably means that Yobit bot don't see their signature on your profile and you won't get paid for further posts that you will make.

You don't understand what I mean. I'm only asking why did they pay me for post that's a signature application.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5188047.msg53032502#msg53032502 This was my first post yesterday and I was paid for that which is totally wrong. That's what I was trying to draw their attention to.

You will probably get kicked out from the campaign soon. Their bot is the one checking your posts and if you have the signature, but they can't do that every minute. Last check they saw you had the signature so the bot kept counting and paying.
I think you are the one that doesn't understand my post well. The bot isn't supposed to keep counting posts after I removed the signature.

You missed his point mate,
He got paid even after joining in another campaign. He is concern about the budget of this campaign, he's being generous here.

I was paid for the bounty application post I made and that's funny and the bot keeps counting after removing the signature, though it didn't add BTC.
My whole point is that why did it pay me for a non constructive post.

Edit: you should check the post count and the posts I made yesterday to understand what I'm talking about.
720  Economy / Services / Re: CryptoTalk.Org Signature Campaign [Yobit Panel] on: November 09, 2019, 08:36:30 PM
I would like to call attention of Yahoo to this. Today, I left Cryptotalk campaign and applied for another one, I got accepted and changed my signature. But this evening, I checked my CryptoTalk Signature panel on yobit and discovered that 2 posts was added, 1 paid and the other was not. The posts were not supposed to be counted in the first place because my first post was an application to join roobet and the other post was made after I changed my signature.
I am leaving this feedback so that  yobit can fix whatever error/glitch is happening because it will affect the budget.

PS: Sorry I used the send to my BTC balance button.
