742  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: KSI vs Logan 2 on: November 06, 2019, 03:30:42 PM
I won't think of staking high on this match because the last match between this two ended ridiculously, a draw. This guys are performing publicity stunts to gain popularity.
If I'm to bet on who would win, I will go for KSI because he fit aggressively and doesn't get weak easily. He knows about boxing, Logan only started practicing last year when they fixed a date for the fight.
743  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Impact on gambling on: November 06, 2019, 12:58:55 PM
Luck luck luck luckkkkkk. It's called a gamble for a reason naturally. It's almost pretty impossible to talk to skill when winning after all. Plus, even if calculations are involved, there would still be times where no matter what, a loss would still occur a 100%. Just like choosing a queen out of a deck of cards, with pure luck, it almost seems impossile, but its STILL possible.

Luck doesn't work in all games. There are games where you don't need any skills because the outcome is generated by the system. But in games like poker, sports betting, you will need to analyse well before you make a move.
744  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to be profitable in sports betting? on: November 06, 2019, 12:03:33 PM

sports betting is still simillar to dice and lottery because on sports betting not all your calculations are accurate  or let say its accurate enough but you wouldnt know the whole result of the game.

You can't say both of them are similar. The only similarity is that they are both Gambles.
In sports betting, there are variety of match outcomes which you can pick from starting from the most popular 1 x 2. The 1 x 2 has being people's favorite pick because it's easy to know who would win a game most of the time with the odd difference. But Dice games are just random results generated by computers and can be easily manipulated by the site owner whenever he sees that people are winning a lot.

A lot of us here love sports and we are betting at the same time.
I am not successful in this kind of venture but I would love to know from people here on what they do in order to win.
They say that sports betting has no house edge, but why is it it's still hard to win here?

probably what you need are LUCK and a few RESEARCH.

You're totally wrong for saying LUCK is needed. LUCK isn't a thing you just get. The word is only used by some people after a successful outcome of an event and I hate it when people tell me I won by luck. It's not luck but analysis.

Analysis goes a long way in a sports bet. You can't expect a team that scores below 3 goals in most of the matches they've had together to score over 4-5 goals because you're expecting LUCK to work for you, no it won't.
745  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The pain of playing unders in Football on: November 06, 2019, 10:52:33 AM
It's too risky to take under 2.5 in big matches especially if a strong team against a weak team will make a lot of goals. Why not take under 3.5/3 is a little safe even though the odds are smaller between @1.3-1.5 and it would be better if you make a parlay.

Under 3.5 is also risky. Remember Liverpool vs Arsenal game? You wouldn't have expected such numbers of goals. I would rather bet on half time goals or bet under 2.5 against a weak team.
746  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Compatibility of Legacy w Native Segwit w Nested Segwit on: November 06, 2019, 06:59:28 AM

Blockchain.info, no Segwit, but started accepting Ethereum, Bitcoin Cash, Ripple, and Stellar. Really clear what side its people are.

Blockchain.info wallet supports bc1 address the last time I checked. You can try paste a bc1 address and pretend as if you want to send a transaction out. It's the only legacy wallet I know to have implemented that.
I believe exchanges too are going to allow us to withdraw to native segwit addresses in the future.
747  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Generating a paper wallet securely on: November 06, 2019, 06:32:28 AM
There's no way you can generate a paper wallet offline.
The only way is to use an old computer, generate the paper wallet and print it on an old printer that has no access to Wi-Fi. Or why not get an Hardware wallet and store all your funds there and bury the wallet seeds. Since Y'all trust hardware wallets alot.
748  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain Technology "bottled" up on: November 05, 2019, 08:08:03 PM
This is a great revolution for the blockchain tech, but the problem is that Bitcoin doesn't have smart contracts that companies can use as a payment processor. It's a great thing to see a football club accept Bitcoin and also include the logo on their jersey.
If more aviation or sport industry can look into blockchain tech, I think there will be more adoption.
749  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is 1 bitcoin is a good price as now? on: November 05, 2019, 03:41:43 PM

If you want to get a free Bitcoin, start with Faucet(you can google it, many faucets are online right now). Learn how to store or send your coin, and then try to find a job or bounty that you can do.
for example like writing content, creating a video and many more.

Starting with a faucet will be a waste of time you haven't realised that. Legit paying faucets nowadays have a high withdrawal threshold and it will take long to reach it.
Starting with bounties is ok especially content creation/video campaign with decent amount of subscribers.
750  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What scares you the most? on: November 05, 2019, 02:47:33 PM
Exchange hack or continuous maintenance of an exchange is one my scary thing. Imagine an exchange going on maintenance the moment you need funds urgently or when you just transfered some funds there.
hacked email is the most scary than anything.

i felt it myself when i received an email that someone tried recovered my password.

That's what I was also scared of before too. But you can't get hacked if you have a strong password and 2fa enabled on your email. Also try to have multiple email accounts and also have some security questions on them.
751  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you waste your time for 5 cents worth of bitcoin? on: November 05, 2019, 01:37:10 PM
I will not waste my time on it because I do not know what you're planning on doing with people's data on the website. And I'm guessing a premium plan will be later introduced to users because that is what some websites do now, and they always turn out to be scam.
752  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC Dominance on CoinMarketCap on: November 05, 2019, 01:05:13 PM
I'm expecting Bitcoin dominance to reach 80% perhaps 90% and stay there for all 2020. After that we will have a clear picture of surviving and abandoned altcoins.
I'm just hoping coinmarketcap removes at least 2 thousand of them.

Then it will need a marketcap of over $200bln to achieve that presently. But I don't think a dominance of 80-90% would happen because there are also other altcoins with potentials that would want to also maintain their own dominance too.
And don't hope for CMC to remove 2000 altcoins from the market list without any reason.
753  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [What IF] Part 4 on: November 05, 2019, 09:25:24 AM
My mother would always analyze her dreams into numbers and bet on it in the lottery. Sometimes she wins, sometimes she does not.

I apply the same here because there is no harm in trying to do what is in your dream. If I win, just like in my dream, then it is good and I will enjoy the profit. And if not, well, at least I tried.

Wow! What a great gift right there.
Mine is always the opposite. Sometimes,  If I follow my dream and stake on the outcome I saw in my dream, the game lose, but anytime I don't stake on the outcome, that's when it the outcome always come true.
754  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to be profitable in sports betting? on: November 05, 2019, 08:35:43 AM
It depends on your favorite sport. Firstly, have a favorite sport, don't try to analyse on sport you don't know about. Secondly, don't always bet in favor of your favorite team, analyse the other team and know their ability. Thirdly, do not accumulate too much odds and if you do, make sure the amount you want to stake is not much.  Fourthly, you can buy tips from tipsters with a good record of winnings if you know you are not good at analysing matches.

757  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How would an Economy based on BTC look like? on: November 05, 2019, 05:34:34 AM
I realized I don't think I asked the question as I wanted. In this scenario the country doesn't switch to the coin, the currency is just BTC, built upon BTC, and will continue to rely only on BTC, not some foreign currency like USD or Euro. What I'm thinking is just a new country. Like the idea of Esperanto land.

If as a new country and it to peg it currency to Bitcoin, then they should expect their economy to be a complete mess. Bitcoin is known for instability in price. Best idea is to accept it as one of payment means and not as general currency.
758  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SCAM Youtube Live Giveaways - Litecoin, Coinbase, Ripple... on: November 04, 2019, 04:43:59 PM

Seeing from the picture, many send ETH. I wonder why anyone falls in love with a gift like this? Don't they realize that this system is the same as Ponzi.

There are still more people that will fall for this because of greed and not being properly guided by the person that introduced them to crypto. Most won't even stop if they are told that it's a scam, they will respond saying “someone I know just got paid”  “the system is still fresh, let's join the early bird before it crashes”. It actually depends on the type of person that introduced one to crypto. If the person that introduced you is a ponzi lover, there's a high chance that you'll also lose to it before you realise ponzi is a scam.
759  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: If you want to make money, social media Bounty is not the way! (I guess) on: November 04, 2019, 03:59:03 PM
The problem starts when you want to join them all, which will lead you to great depression when all of that social media bounty will not pays you at the end of the campaign.

True that, and the reason is because most social bounties doesn't give good return like before it used to.
This forum has been flooded with new accounts looking for a way to earn some crypto.

I'm pretty sure your contradicting yourself right now? Not a bad thing and then you rarely join now. To be honest, Bounties isn't really wrong or anything

He never said it is a bad or said he vow to never. He actually stated the true fact about it. Joining social bounties back in 2017 do fetch hunters some decent amount.
760  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: ToS, do you read it before using new platforms? on: November 04, 2019, 02:33:17 PM
I don't always read ToS during signups or registration especially during exchange sign up. I don't move huge funds and I don't violate common rules of exchanges.
And I know there's also a lot of people who are just contacting the support of particular website arguing about the problem they encountered and once the support quoted their TOS before creating an account, what a really huge facepalm  Cheesy

Once happened to me before, it's been long since I used the exchange so I deposited on it the my funds was locked and I was told to complete KYC before I could trade or withdraw.
