3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bitcreds(BCRS) | Argon2d16k CPU PoW | Masternodes | BlockchainDNS for IPFS on: February 22, 2021, 08:47:39 PM
We've updated the rewards structure on the website to reflect the changes we've made as of v1.7.1 to provide more funds for the future development of Bitcreds and also to reduce the total BCRS issued per block over time.

We're likely to hit block 1,000,000 in a few days which will see a couple of changes. Firstly, the block times will change from 128 seconds to 360 Seconds. Secondly, the block rewards will change as set out below (and in the OP of this thread) which will provide more funds for the future development of Bitcreds.

Both of these changes will reduce the total BCRS issued per day.

Hey there, old CRDS user here, how do I redeem BCRS with CRDS? I have my old CRDS wallet still.

In less than 5 hours from now, at 6 PM UTC, we will make the switch to Argon2d16000 so prepare your wallets for mining as it will be the only way to mine Bitcreds after the hard fork. Expect your mining speeds to drop by up to 100x in comparison to Argon2d250, the algorithm currently in use.

Since this is a hard fork and taking precautions is recommended I advise not to send any significant transactions until tomorrow just to make sure you're on the right chain and the network is running smoothly.

If you like in-wallet CPU mining or you just like the stock, give it a go Grin.

I like the stock!

Also if you need any help with anything let me know! Could be a fun project!

11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Phoneum - Mobile Crypto App & Gaming Platform on: May 28, 2020, 10:47:44 PM
Ohh man you did not get that??

THIS PROJECT IS A SCAM!!!

You do not "make money" ever by playing their games!!
1. If you want to reach ANY withdrawal limit on ANYTHING, you must buy their shitty package if you do not have half year of time to invest in their apps.
Some users who were there since the beginning and playing their first game was not able to withdraw anything, for example after half a year, somebody even after buying their scam packages. Just visit google play reviews.

2. Only OWNERS make money!! Thousands of stupid humans watching their ads on daily basis.

3. You are able to withdrawal but only if you invest 1000x more in cash than directly buy specific coins OR if you are planning waste something like 2 hours DAILY for half or even whole year.
It is something like 365 - 730 hours. With today's rate, it will be something like 3 USD?
0.002 - 0.004 per HOUR OF TIME WASTING!!
BUT after some time, this token price will be AGAIN zero, even on "new" exchange, because after some time, some stupid time wasters will be able to withdraw and then they will dump it on exchange. So, the price will be 0 after sime tome.

4. Of course, they will be buying some of the shitty tokens by themself to keep the price high to motivate stupid users to watch ads and maybe even pay real money for shitty packages, but after the first wave of selling, they will stop, dont worry about that. (This is the reason why there are so high withdrawal limits, especially for their shitty token.)
- There was already one dump after their SCAM ICO, I mean after the start of trading of this shitty token. The dump was made by "owners"/developers. Nothing changes, it was and it is still big scam.

IT IS SCAM!!

Yeah i think im going to have to agree with you on this. I am consulting with someone who is trying to develop a token for their App, his dev team suggested using Phoneum as a platform, which now that I look at it, doesnt even make any sense. What a load of shit.
12  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Crypto Index Fund Looking for help! on: May 17, 2019, 01:11:24 PM
interesting...definitely need something better than CMC to chart price

I sorta think of this as a proof of concept. If this actually goes anywhere I would like to pull data from maybe the top 5-10 exchanges and aggregate the price that way. I just was running out of steam, and I wasnt sure if people were interested but this is encouraging.
13  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Crypto Index Fund Looking for help! on: May 17, 2019, 01:10:03 PM
Hey everybody, been a while since I have been around. I had a pretty poor experience with the last coin I worked on, but I want to try again!

So, I have a website which basically functions as a coin index. Currently it pulls data from coinmarketcap, aggregates it together and divides by any divisor that is entered. There is also a decent amount of customization that is available. For example adding individual coins, organizing by market cap, organizing by token etc etc.

Anyway I don't really know what to do with the site. I also don't have the time to work on it and promote it as much as I would like. Thats where you come in! I am really open to move this in any direction, either starting a token, monetizing the website, keeping it informational whatever. I really just want it to go to good use because frankly I think it is pretty cool.

For anybody curious the website is https://daoment.com/

In my opinion crypto indexes are pointless, because 99% of all coins usually follow the same pattern.
I like the design. Why do you have a signup option?Perhaps you could make this a paid membership platform offering premium features for a low fee.I can't figure out any other way to monetize such website.

So, i tend to agree however when I first started this project it was pretty easy to see the cashflow from large cap to small cap alt coins. Which is what I was trying to capture. I was also hoping it would catch bubbles/trends. I.e. First we had the premine scams, then all the ICO/tokens, then Masternodes were huge etc. So really It was supposed to have a collection of each category of coin.

Also signup is still not set up! Working on that!

Have you ever considered (if technically possible) to create a financial product that is linked to both index depicted in your site? likewise people can just invest in crypto coin without own any crypto... (futures?)

So, this is certainly something I have considered. Maybe a token who knows. I am very hesitant to do some sort of ICO launch, maybe it would be free i don't know. Also there are theoretically as many indexes as we want. So yes I guess the long answer is I am still trying to figure that out lol.

the problem with cryptocurrencies is that, their value is determined by the cryptocurrency index.
This is a very a good idea. Especially if you do create custom indexes. I can help you promote. No strings attached. Just help.

Thank you, we are still a bit off from that point. I need to figure out exactly what we are doing, i.e. should there be a token associated with each coin, is it just advertising, bla bla bla.
16  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Crypto Index Fund Looking for help! on: May 17, 2019, 01:05:19 PM
Love the idea of custom indices. I happen to know a bit about this question, since I developed an index myself: https://www.mahaadvisors.com/index

I'd start by writing up some sort of methodology behind the index so people can see how it is calculated. For instance, it sounds like it is pure market cap weighted, but the ranking of coins below the chart is not (a few notable outliers are Binance Coin and Cosmos).

I'd also recommend adding some smoothing to the larger time intervals of the graph, since displaying each data point as is causes performance issues and can make it difficult to read, since each individual point is so large.

Happy to talk further, this is an area I've been working on for a while.

Thanks man. Yeah the smoothing is a must. Working on that. And the weighting is not super complex at this point... might have to look into that. And yeah ill send you a message!

Very interesting. I’ll need to sign up later and check out the customization. Might be fun to build a custom index and actually back it with real holdings.

Yeah im working on a way to add custom indexes for each person! Thanks
