Again Bertmod measures VRM temp, not ASIC.

The official firmware status page temp is also from VRM?

 HW status:

ASIC slot #1: 54.0 ℃
ASIC slot #2: 53.0 ℃
ASIC slot #3: 55.0 ℃
ASIC slot #4: 43.0 ℃

All,

We have been shipping products for a while now and while everything has not gone perfect we thought it was time to provide a little update on out status of things.

So far the factory has produced about 700 products, while it seems a lot we were hoping for more by now,

This has been a very steep learning curve and we have adjusted the manufacturing process to be able to produce more boxes per day to try and catch up with the backlog.

We would also like to take this opportunity to say that we are aware of the following outstanding issues including but not limited to

Hosting environment delays,

Shipping delays,

Performance of some devices are not up to specifications,

Power supply’s causing issues damage to some boards.

Packaging and delivery issues.

We would like to state that we remain committed to improvement in all of these areas and more. We have all of our staff dedicated to fixing the above issues above anything else.

Our customer service department are working as hard as they can to keep up with all the customer requests and we would like to apologize for any delays our customers are facing while we make our way through these issues.

The good news is we have another firmware release today 0.95 This version is specifically aimed at the power consumption of our devices and again contains more stability fixes in the firmware, We have identified issues in the communication between the controller board and the ASIC modules which were causing some very bad performance in certain cases. we recomed that anyone having either power consumption issues or performace issues takes this patch. Please note that this patch will be automatically deployed to all hosting boxes in our DC.

The patch can be found here

www.kncminer.com/userfiles/file/ kncminer-0.95.bin

We do accept that things are not going as well as planned, We are however doing everything we possibly can to get things back on track.

Thanks

KnCMiner Team

Nice price drop considering the increasing difficulty in November, so they will continue selling devices in november.

What are shareholder's thoughts on the Just-Dice rollback? Currently, we're down around 40 BTC from the JD investment.

Should we continue to invest in just-dice?

I wouldn't risk more in JD for now. I remember this fund was originally stated as a very low risk fund, you may want to invest accordingly to keep the risk low.

Hi,

I am trying to register for a new account in bitfunder.com
On the signup page there is a place for entering the BTC address with below remark

(Note: This address will be posted in public view, with a listing of shares per asset.
This will ensure your anonymity, while being able to prove identity, and holdings.)
This address will not, and can not be used to withdraw to.

Now I have a wallet on blockchain and was planning to enter this address in the BTC address box but the last sentence is not clear. Should I be creating a new wallet specifically for this bitfunder account as it says I cannot withdraw if I mention the address?
17  Economy / Securities / Re: [BitFunder] BITINVEST - Transparent low risk investment bond on: June 09, 2013, 09:45:43 PM
TOTAL: 18.941 BTC
Paid as dividends: 17.0496 BTC
Dividends per share: "You will be issueing (17.04960000 / 3888) = 0.00438518 per share. Final Total: 17.04957984."

Why is management fee not shown in the latest posts, I liked the way transparency was maintained in earlier bi-weekly updates/dividend posts Smiley
18  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: KnCMiner Openday Wednesday 5th & Monday 10th June on: June 07, 2013, 09:36:41 PM

scam ? no way. risky ? yep.
i am more concerned about difficulty in october or bitcoin price than about kncminer being able to built what they have planned. will they deliver in time ? no one knows.

Thanks for sharing.

I am quite concerned with the bitcoin price as well in coming month, the market will be flooded with sellers trying to convert money to fiat....more supply than demand.
