1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Criminality and Bitcoin on: July 18, 2017, 09:56:12 PM
Correlation isn't causation, as well as crime and Cryptocurrency aren't mutually Inclusive.
This is true for P2P Platforms like Paxful.

Only blame when nothing is being done to catch or prevent criminality.

2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you buy Bitcoin now with hard cash? on: July 18, 2017, 09:15:21 PM
I've used lots of Payment options to buy bitcoins via Paxful and Physical cash is not off
the menu.
3  Economy / Speculation / Re: Should I cash out my BTC now? on: July 18, 2017, 09:07:23 PM
It's up to you. As for me, I will hold or hodl all my babies...I mean Bitcoins and keep buying small amount.
In fact, just bought a few more last week at Paxful.
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is BTC for you? on: July 18, 2017, 09:05:26 PM

6  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Online Shop that accepts BTC on: July 18, 2017, 08:28:51 PM
I can pretty much do this on Paxful. All I do is sell my Bitcoins for Amazon Gift Cards and load it to my account and the rest is history.
You can also buy iTunes cards.
7  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I'm panicking, tell me it will be OK... on: July 18, 2017, 08:22:31 PM
Settle down.

Several months ago, when I bought my first set of bitcoins at Paxful,
they also said It's dying, blah blah blah.

Just store your coins at a personal wallet with your own private keys and you'll be fine.
8  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Kraken don't want to send me back my money! on: July 17, 2017, 06:57:43 PM
If you're dissatisfied, just wait it out then GTFO.

That's what I did when coinbase pulled that stunt on me.
I waited for 6 days only to get an automated response.

I've ran back to dNet and Paxful after they restored my coins and the network
became stable-ish.
9  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading Advice... on: July 17, 2017, 06:51:52 PM
Always check a platform/site's knowledgebase.
Read and understand thoroughly before trading.
When in doubt, always ask the support team.

I.E

I trade mainly at Paxful.

I've read their knowledgebase and recently joined their admin mandated tutorials.

Before my first BTC bought, I asked them lots of question like how to activate Escrow service, rates, etc.
10  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What's the most that you've made or lost in a single trade? on: July 17, 2017, 06:30:51 PM
Well, I've bought approximately 4 BTC at an average price of 700 dollars a piece
when I was just a few months in buying at Paxful.

So yeah, they've pretty much doubled.
11  Economy / Marketplace / Re: What places do you do your shopping online? on: July 17, 2017, 06:21:30 PM
I can pretty much do this on Paxful. All I do is sell my Bitcoins for Amazon Gift Cards and load it to my account and the rest is history.
12  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to increase BTC? on: July 17, 2017, 06:15:21 PM
Well, try trading in a P2P marketplace where you can trade your BTC in a cycle.
It can vary on how you feel but for me, Paxful is my main trading grounds.
13  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading is unpredictable job. on: July 17, 2017, 04:43:18 PM
Yup, agreed. Unpredictable AF.
That's why I have decided to trade in Paxful where I can trade for other things like gift cards.

Not life-changing profitable but still generates some revenue that helps me put food on the table.
14  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Hold or Sell on: July 17, 2017, 04:38:52 PM
keep on holding! Never gave much attention to all the jeers Bitcoin receives.
Even when I bought my first bitcoin at Paxful, there were lots of nasty comments
about it. Just kept on buying small portions from time to time.
15  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Buying clothes with bitcoins? on: July 17, 2017, 04:30:03 PM
I can pretty much do this on Paxful. All I do is sell my Bitcoins for Amazon Gift Cards and load it to my account and the rest is history.
I can buy anything I want from there Including clothes.
16  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-03-23]Who's Buying Bitcoin? Demand Persists Amid Fork Fears on: July 03, 2017, 11:57:23 AM
Fork Fears are really out of the picture because if that was the case we would have seen a slump in price but fortunately, that's not the case!
I honestly think demand as suddenly risen as a result of the proposed segwit2x which has a possibility of improved transaction tranfers and possibly reduced transaction fees.

Just bought .03 BTC again today at Paxful.
It's a leap of faith I guess.

I haven't read the news about segwit but It's good that people are being due to this.

The fork will come but rather than hesitating to buy, I buy mine monthly.
Small amounts through P2P marketplaces like Paxful until I get to 1 whole BTC.
Slowly but surely.

Nothing good will come from worrying. Just buy and hope for the best  Grin

LOL. I like your attitude mate. That's true optimism when it comes to bitcoin price. Well know that the price is purely speculative but what the hell. I'm also stashing some bitcoin as I can and buying if I have extra money in my wallet. Just like you said, hope for best in the future. Grin

I have feared before and failed to purchase BTC but this time around,  No fear man.
This is kinda turning into a religion-ish faith, I know lol
17  Local / Other languages/locations / Re: legit site to buy bitcoin from south africa on: July 03, 2017, 11:38:13 AM
I have online friends from SA that buy bitcoins at Paxful as well.
Might be because of the wide range of payment options.

Well, yeah I have traded with people from SA as well. Bought at least 1 BTC with them on Paxful.

20  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How do you convert cash to bitcoin anonymously? on: June 30, 2017, 07:09:30 AM
