21  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A person who won 600k$ in lottery on: September 18, 2023, 06:03:53 PM
It’s hard part to control your emotion in the gambling after the big one like 600K dollars in the gambling.

That's true. The person is very lucky. Sometimes it is better to win small bits till it eventually gets big than to win one big sum like $600k.

23  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is it advisable to invest on Solana? on: April 23, 2023, 10:09:05 PM
Hello buddies, I am considering buying Solana coins and holding for a very long time. I want to know if this is a good idea before forging ahead to buy it.

Thanks for your responses.

It depends on how long u intend to hold Solana. The Outlook for this coin is very tricky. It shows a different pattern depending on the perspective of the analysis.
24  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Bitcoin after dem approve ahn and info about a scam on: April 23, 2023, 09:32:22 PM
Today this thoughts flashed my mind .How would the people react when Bitcoin is accepted by the country. I realised that even approval of Bitcoin shouldn't be our only concern but also the aftermath. Like
1. How many of the masses will accept bitcoin? since some people today are skeptical about banks not to mention a digital currency.
2. Would politician's not have an easier way in embezzling  funds without been caught?
3. What will happen to naira as well as the prices of goods?
4. Would Bitcoin be under the CBN(central bank of Nigeria) or the NSE( Nigeria stock exchange) or would a new regulatory body be created?

So am curious on your thoughts on Bitcoin in Nigeria, if or when approved.

P.S  not related, but felt like I should let the house know. There are certain group of people acting like agents of Techno selling phones for #40000 with promise that you would be provided power banks, Solar umbrella ( which I never knew existed), bags , tables and chairs. Their focus are mainly on business men and women stating that their reasons for the promo is because they are trying to advertise their product called wikoo(Yes wikoo not wiko which I couldn't find online and the product is mehhh). To cut the story short they are scams,my uncle and some others in my area fell victims.
But I think their bank account was shared. One of their name is ojo using Stanbic Ibtc bank. Can they be tracked with this? because I know someone that even bought 3 (#120000). It happened in Edo state, so don't know if they have been to other States or are going to other States, so thought I should share it.

Nigerians are not even accepting the new digital Naira, how do you expect the same country to accept bitcoin?  Up till today, I am shocked that we could exchange (BANK/DIGITAL) NAIRA FOR NAIRA (CASH) in Nigeria like P2P TRADING . In my opinion, Nigeria is not ready for bitcoin acceptance as a legal tender because so many people will get rich and poor very quickly. People in NIGERIA KEEP RAW CASH IN THEIR HOUSES. The current #500, #200 and #1000 notes NAIRA swap in Nigeria is a proof to this claim. Maybe we should Restructure our system again. We are good in that. Lol. One Love!
25  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Not about to give up hope. on: April 23, 2023, 09:08:42 PM
I have had to experience some dark times alone, in the which both family and friends couldn't understand.
The loss most times or the fear of loss opened my eyes to valuable lessons and the hope to rebound after such an experience lies wherein one doesn't stay flat faced on the ground.
Apart from myself, most companies too have had to crash or close down for reasons that sum up as unprecedented. I took the liberty to compile some recent programs that have failed recently with a message of hope to others and individuals that the best can still be gained from any of such awful experience.

No one would believe If they were told some months ago that:
• FTX would collapse,
• LUNA would go to 0,
• 3AC/BlockFi/Celsius would implode,
• USDC would de-peg,
• Interest rates would rise to 4.5%+,
• Major banks would collapse,
• The SEC would attack crypto, and
• Bitcoin will STILL be above $24k.
Here we are, and wherein these failed, others has risen to the challenge with better services and security against similar recurrence.

Am not about to give up hope, so should you.

•What ways have you exercised hope after setbacks or failure?
•What lessons can we learn from your experience?

No-one should ever give up. I bought (Cardano) Ada when the price was high and never knew that it would crash below $0.3 - 1Ada. But right now, Ada has gained substantial amount of value. Don't give up on your dreams. It is only a matter of time for it to come to fruition. . Have Faith!

26  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Important update on Bitcoin. Why is it falling? Will it go lower? on: April 23, 2023, 08:49:23 PM
Bitcoin had been trading within the overbought region for quite sometime now. It is logical to conclude that the price fell as a result of this. Traders are currently monitoring this price action. So far,it has remained bullish. There should be a deeper correction. Let's hope no new market forces change the dominant bullish trend. The market is in a neutral zone for now. I hope this info helps
27  Economy / Gambling / Re: Freebitco.in - FUN Token Investment Experiment on: February 13, 2023, 06:45:04 AM
...
Maybe you are a busy person? But for someone who is not in a hurry and they are also bored, they will like to play their spins slowly. Not only per day but they will also spin it one by one. There must be a different kind of thrill of doing it and I think I can get a better prize this way than if I spin them all together.

If your last claim is last year then I can't imagine the amount of free spins you are having now. That must be huge? And you see, it takes time for you to collect them all but if I were you, I will just sit my fun tokens there to earn passive returns and exciting rewards than gambling them because you can surely lose them quickly.

With 2500 Fun tokens locked he will get:

I am not busy or bored, I like to keep WoF spins as long as I can (usually I spin them all before the Lambo draw...), currently, I have over 1k WoF spins on waiting:

We have two months until the Lambo draw, 60 days x 9 spins every day... I think soon it will be 10 spins daily. I guess I will have around 1700 spins in that time... can I hope that one of them will be Rolex? Smiley That would be awesome! Smiley

This is quite interesting. I am not in a hurry so It is suitable for me 2. Keep it up.
28  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: December 03, 2022, 05:48:53 PM
The Netherlands beat the USA in a big way. The Netherlands played aggressively from the start. In fact, the Netherlands team is much better than the USA. Congratulations to the Netherlands for securing victory in the Round of Sixteen.
Actually USA wasn't that bad, but Netherlands proved they are more capable of getting results. When we look at the positions in the match, it was a balanced match, no one would be surprised if USA won the game. We can say that Oranges passed the tour with the experience. Netherlands' wings worked very well, Dumfries and Blind played great. Memphis also did what was expected of him and played a good game. USA needs a little more experience, they have a young squad. Haji Wright's goal was interesting. Congratulations to the Netherlands.
I am glad the Netherlands is through and it will be interesting to see how far they can get. As you mention, the USA didn't play bad at all and had more shots on target than the Netherlands (8 vs 6) but all in all, I think the Netherlands deserved the win.

I would say that the Netherlands is one of the most deserving teams to win this year's World Cup. They played well on the group stage. Even today their performance against the USA was very good. If the Argentina team can win against Australia today, then the Netherlands will face the Argentina team in the quarter-finals. This is going to be one of the most competitive matches of the World Cup.

I agree with you. Netherland team could win the world cup. The team is yet to be beaten. Is it possible for argentina to defeat their opponent the same way?
29  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin mining ban in Europe on: December 03, 2022, 05:41:54 PM
https://www.coindesk.com/policy/2022/10/18/eu-countries-must-be-ready-to-block-crypto-mining-commission-says/
EU Countries Must Be Ready to Block Crypto Mining, Commission Says
"The European Union's executive arm also wants blockchains to show energy-efficiency labels and to end crypto tax breaks.
Europe represents 10% of global proof-of-work mining"

Can this affect the price of bitcoin or is this another anti-mining statement?

This is clearly not fair for bitcoin miners and it is definitely another anti mining statement. To purchase a complete mining rig and mine bitcoin there is stressful and may not be profitable when considering the ever increasing bitcoin difficulty and energy rate. There have to be a form of balance. This is just not it. Let's Say no to anti mining policy!
30  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Open Your Own Faucet Website Earnings System Script on: November 21, 2022, 10:18:28 PM
Hello, I am interested in purchasing your script. I checked the demo version. I did not find any fraud detection system such as proxycheck or iphub.info . Does it have?

Secondly does it automatically ban users with same IP address in the log?

Thirdly, it doesn't have offerwall or survey section . Do you intend to put it in the next update?

I need a good script for my next website. Please reply.

31  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: October 24, 2022, 04:18:58 PM
I don't think bitcoin price will go down. Bitcoin difficulty keeps making new all time high. Infact, it is more economical buying bitcoin when the price temporarily falls than to mine it with the present difficulty over a long period of time. Bitcoin value should be $40,000 at the current difficulty.  Tongue   Tongue . Hence from the current price action, if my calculations are correct, bitcoin should retake $25,000 level before next month (November) and remain stable there.

Price is not a specific type of trophy that Bitcoin can fight for or grab at any given time. Because any price (including the price of Bitcoin) occurs through supply and demand in the market, not by competition because price is not a competition for Bitcoin.

The price range you say does look logical for the current conditions, but it also needs encouragement from various parties so that more new people are interested in buying Bitcoin at the current price and that will obviously make the Bitcoin price push up slowly. And for price stability I think it will also be difficult for Bitcoin to happen because it is influenced by the number of trades on Bitcoin which is always very large every month.

You are correct. Demand and supply is a factor to consider when dealing with bitcoin price. But mark my words, the probability of my prediction to happen is higher than you imagined. Even Bitcoin mining hardware producers had to Slash their price to encourage sales nevertheles it's still better and more profitable to buy bitcoin now than to mine it.
32  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: October 24, 2022, 07:02:41 AM
I keep waiting for the price to break down and head to new lows, but the market keeps crawling upward. It’s starting to feel like the train is loading up and getting ready to take off. My brain says we’re going to $13K but with each day above $19K it seems more and more like people are accumulating under $20K while they can. Seeing the Fed beginning to spend on bailouts again in an attempt to drop the dollar’s value has me thinking the next move might be upward from here.
You are correct. The next step will be to increase the price of Bitcoin. Current Bitcoin price is 19k-20k up and down. But we are hearing good news about Bitcoin everywhere. I think bitcoin in 2023 high pump will do.

I don't think bitcoin price will go down. Bitcoin difficulty keeps making new all time high. Infact, it is more economical buying bitcoin when the price temporarily falls than to mine it with the present difficulty over a long period of time. 33  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Is Faucetpay paying bigger withdrawals? on: October 12, 2022, 08:17:07 PM
The fact remains that faucetpay.io is 100% legit . From my experience, their cryptocurrency exchange trade is extremely fast. ( Just a click away). Even though their fees rates are a little bit higher to discourage abuse, it is still preferable compared to other so called legit exchangers. To answer your question, I would say Yes, you could bring a huge amount of coins to the site, swap the coin for another coin and withdraw instantly without even making a bet in their casinos.
34  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin 13 years ago... on: October 12, 2022, 12:44:24 PM
~Snip~

I did not get hooked on bitcoin at the time men" but where I am today, it makes me so happy.
I sure do understand perfectly, there is a saying which goes "better late than never".
We all are happy we are here, at some instances, one might feel this regret of not being here when bitcoin was way cheaper, but honestly, I come to understand that in life, every thing happens at their time, nothing happens by chance, those who knew about bitcoin when the price was zero, knew about it because it was their time to know about it, and not even all of them are rich today.

It is not out of place to sometime feel bad for not knowing about an opportunity on time, but then, don't take it to heart, for what will be will surely be.

I don't think it's late to know about bitcoin. From my own observation, bitcoin difficulty keeps on increasing. Infact, some technical review has proved that it is better to buy bitcoin now anytime the price dips than to manually mine it. That means if bitcoin continues in this trajectory, there will be a point where no one will want to sell. This the price goes up .

So I feel happy and agree with you.
35  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does Trading Volume really matter ? on: October 07, 2022, 06:05:04 PM
I've only started noticing the Trading Volume stats on my favourite projects. I am a little intrigued as to what this exactly means, does it really matter much ? Some lesser known projects like Yield Yak have barely $4,000 in Trading Volume, yet the TVL is something like $50 million, whereas a better known project like Raydium has a Trading volume of more than $6 Million, with a TVL of only a little more than triple the TVL of Yield Yak  ( $160 Million TVL )
I'm also surprised that some lesser known gaming projects like Vulcan Forged have a high trading volume , whereas others ( like Axie Infinity ) have a relatively low trading volume.
The way I interpret it right now ( correct me if I'm wrong ) is that trading volume is high when an ecosystem is very active and adoption is growing relative to other projects, so it's a good indicator to buy into that project.

Yes! Trading volume actually matters. It tells you that the current stock is active, valuable and has some degree of usage by people.
36  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Tips that could help crypto beginners. on: September 24, 2022, 10:41:06 PM
~
I mean surely when you have been holding Bitcoin since 2013, you could have been one of those millionaires already.
Being millionaire in crypto is almost similar being millionaire outside crypto. Pray to the crypto gods that the next thing you hold would lead you to being one of those people.
I never dreamt being millionaire both crypto and outside crypto, since it is kind of giving me desperation to make luck be on my side and that is not really a healthy mentality for me.

If crypto was to make a person millionaire, surely every single people on Earth and other dimensions had bought cryptos since.

An investment will always remain an investment. There are similar stocks that if you hold since 2013 would have made someone a millionaire by now. People don't look into the future. Isn't it obvious that bitcoin may soon replace Cards transactions? It's easier to use and transactions are confirmed swiftly. No need 4 chips. I recommend any beginner of crypto to invest in cryptocurrency the same way he/she will do if buying shares.

38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Too good to be true? on: September 13, 2022, 08:41:04 PM
Is it possible to invest 100$ in altcoin and turn to 7,000$? Have this ever happened to anyone on here? Is this even possible?.

It's definitely possible. However most people who invested in such coins never expected such huge ROI. It mostly happens to people who  forget that they invested in a business.
39  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which crypto has the highest potential?? on: September 05, 2022, 09:53:08 PM
Here is  the top 10 Cryptos with the highest potential to grow, can you suggest which is the game changer in 2023??

1. Ethereum

2. Polygon

3. Solana

4. Cardano

5. ApeCoin

6. Tron

7. Sandbox

8. Chainlink

9. Shiba Inu

10. Cosmos

In my wallet majority of the share holding by Solana and ApeCoin does it be a good choice?Huh Huh Huh Huh Undecided Undecided

According to your list,  ethereum would be the best option. However, if you add Litecoin, I would definitely choose it. Cardano seems to have great prospects in 2023 compared with Solana.
40  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Warning] Trust wallet tron multi signature scam.. on: August 29, 2022, 10:58:40 AM
Sorry khaled0111, thanks for the merit. I deleted the post to edit it, I couldn't see your merit before I deleted it, I wouldn't had.
No problem at all! I just remerited the edited post as I believe it's very useful and opens the door to discuss how tron multisig works and how it's different from bitcoin multisig.
And you are right about trustwallet, I just checked it and, indeed, it doesn't allow creating multi-signature wallets.

vv181 explained it very well, thanks!
I found this medium post which I believe is easier to understand than the tron doc:
https://coredevs.medium.com/tron-multi-signature-mechanism-92ac998993ac

Thanks for the information. . There are many scammers and they are likely to cover up their tracks. We should be vigilant at all times. If it is too good to be true, then it's definitely not true.
