1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin taxes. on: February 04, 2018, 03:31:38 AM
Since the world saw the whopping 1500 per cent upsurge in the value of Bitcoin in less than a year, it automatically suggests that cryptocurrency has become the top choice for many investors. As in many countries, millennials anxiously talk about tax-free crypto countries and taxation laws of their countries, these millennials, just like you and me, are also Bitcoin or crypto investors and HODLers. Hence, legal loopholes around the most popular cryptocurrency has been of prime importance for tax authorities.  Even though Bitcoins are not specifically mentioned in the income tax act, Bitcoins are assets which are usually owned so holder can gain from an increase in its value. In that sense, they acquire the definition of capital gains. Which is a wide definition as per the Income Tax Act. Since, One needs to pay tax on profits made from investing in Bitcoin. One should declare the income while filing taxes.

The issue of digital currency taxation is one of the major obstacles to its popularization. Bit similar to gold, want to tax only for real currency transactions tax.
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The future of bitcoin can only be placed on the guarantee of a large ore pool? on: February 04, 2018, 02:58:46 AM
Currently, the computing power of ghash io, the largest mining pool, is getting closer and closer to 51% of the entire Bitcoin network, a trend that has caused many concerns. Ghash io has posted an open letter (PDF) to the community promised not to launch a 51% attack. ghash io has taken steps to stop accepting new miners to reduce computing capacity growth. But the future of Bitcoin can be fully pinned on such a guarantee?

Bitcoin self-regulation mechanism from bottom to top is very efficient, there is no such guarantee does not matter, the mechanism of Bitcoin is not based on the trust of others or the central agency operation, and the mine is only a mine pool, the mine pool Itself does not grasp the real power. What is really worrying is that in the future, the makers of mining chips will only have one or two monopolies after the fierce market competition. Like Intel in the cpu field, this is a real threat. Of course, based on the interests, this is Chip companies are likely to develop an amd such competitors is in the final long-term interests, but the mining chip monopoly will always be a lingering shadow.

Bitcoin market, bitcoin miner, Bitcoin teaching, and more. Huh
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin price manipulated by Wall Street? on: February 03, 2018, 10:17:54 AM
Some analysts explain the recent decline of Bitcoin price by the Wall Street investors, who tries to enter the market massively for a discount price after the first future contracts expired January 26.

Here a quote from a trader with large followers on Telegram:

Quote
Bitcoin price prediction cobe and C.M.E contract is expiring on 26 Jan 2018 on this date after contract expiration we will see biggest Bitcoin pump of history wall street buy back of Bitcoin .Bitcoin future contract mostly got long postion holding which is mainpulated by wall street players  Before 26 Jan 2018 wall street buy altcoins and we will see another huge ATH for altcoins before 26 Jan 2018

What do you think?

Taking into account the news coming from Wall Street it is true, but only partly. The belief of people in BTC also affects its price.

Can Wall Street investors actually manipulate the entire digital money market with Bitcoin futures? The answer seems "yes" given the market's decline last week. Although Bitcoin did not rebound immediately in the short term, most of the coins began to rebound after the futures contract expired.
5  Economy / Speculation / Re: do you think bitcoin will go back to 6000? should i sell now? on: February 03, 2018, 10:12:08 AM
It depends: (1) what is your average price?; and (2) how much does this investment represent in your total savings/portfolio?

Answering your question: no, I don't believe BTC will touch the 6,000 level

Unfortunately, I see btc hitting 6k within the next couple weeks.
At least momentarily it will, then it will establish a new line in the mid 7k range, then another week, we will see it dip to the 5k range.

The issue with the price fall is that the market is there to short BTC hard.
Those who are shorting btc, especially since the futures market was opened up, are booking some serious profits.

Most in this game are day trading it. buying and selling making some good cash on the daily rise and fall.

The price of bitcoin has experienced some ups and downs in the recent period. At what price to sell bitcoin to see personal investment philosophy.
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to evaluate, "bitcoin can not be bigger, because a bigger country will be un on: February 03, 2018, 10:08:16 AM
A common argument about bitcoin is that "bitcoin can not be made bigger, and when it is bigger, it will be violently controlled by the state because the bitcoin owner will not be violent, so the bitcoin will eventually be controlled or eliminated."

This is a typical conspiracy theory, in fact, the crux of the problem lies in uncontrollable speculation. Why did Bitcoin attract so much attention during this period of time, everyone just stayed in the passion for the myth of overnight riches, no one was concerned about or believed in the technological changes behind.
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin for Taxi on: February 03, 2018, 09:52:55 AM
If bitcoin can be connected in taxi payment, with bitcoin we can pay in a split second and furthermore quick. we simply need to have an essential thought for the proprietors of taxi organizations in numerous nations. this will make all exchanges can be brought together and furthermore taxi clients straightforwardly pay taxi charges to the organization. one option is the organization gives a solitary wallet address that is synchronized with android-based taxi applications gave by the organization. I do hope that Uber think about it.

I think Bitcoin will reduce the tourists' confusion over currency conversion rates. Moreover, a confirmation of Bitcoin payment time is about 10 minutes, there will not be any refund issue. Bitcoin payments For taxis and car rentals, it is not just for travel, it's also for average commuters.
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Will there be another virtual currency like Bitcoin? on: February 03, 2018, 09:49:28 AM
Bitcoin is really hot now, can there be no good person to write another bitcoin to circulate with it?
Is there any significance or value for the second bitcoin?
Or ask the question, if there is a second bitcoin, will the current bitcoin and the world have what effect?
Thank you for answering.
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: !!! Suicide Watch !!! on: February 02, 2018, 04:46:39 AM
I just can't understand why people put more into this than they can afford to lose. There are so many warnings not to do this everywhere. This is part of the risk of investment. I thought every investor would be aware of this. And even if you did lose everything because you put too much money into crypto then seriously dude.. why would that make you depressed? It's only money. Try meditation and come to the realization of the transient nature of all things. Our death is already certain, you should enjoy this short life that we do have, go out and explore the world and make real connections with people. You definitely don't need money to do that. It's something nice to have but if losing it is making you suicidal then you must look deeply into yourself, your life, and your priorities as such thoughts are indicative of a more serious underlying issue that has nothing to do with money. What's the solution? I already said it.. meditation and the realization of transience. You'll see how trivial and funny a thing money and all material things are then.

I'll tell you why. Because they're greedy!
If I were to explain the current situation to a new panicking investor, I'd tell him to see it as a safekeeping. You weren't satisfied with the state of your fiat money that was losing value when put into a bank account or held in the form of cash so you bought something that is going to keep growing. Something that has a booming economy behind it and something that can't be taken away from you. Something that is limited in numbers. If you have coins keep them just like people who bought at $1000 kept them when the price went down to $200 because later it went back to $20000!

This is the worst case scenario that would ever happen if you invest a lot of money on a certain currency and you expect to profit a lot, As I always said from my previous replies on different thread, it is best to invest only the money what you afford to lose and do not expect too much from your investments. Majority of the time expectations leads to disappointments and that kind of scenario is very depressing.

Suicide is not the solution to all the problems in the world even if you lose a lot of money it is still not the solution. Life is more valuable than the money that anyone lose even if its a very huge amount. Maybe not all people can help in financial aspects in here but We can help with our inspirational words.

To all of our brothers and sisters in here who lose a lot, It is not the end of the world there is still hope as long that you're breathing.  Smiley

I think every investor should be aware that bitcoin is a venture capital and that you have to prepare for the loss first. If you have not gotten ready for it, try a small amount of test water.
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Whats the future of bitcoin with these high fees? on: February 02, 2018, 04:31:35 AM
Well looking at how high fees are applied for our transaction it is really impractical or not wise on our side to make payments with Bitcoin now. The ridiculous price of network fees make Bitcoin not look like a currency if the future anymore. Plus the bad thing about it is the sender or the buyer is the one who is shouldering the burden of the network fees, for me I don't like how I will incur additional cost just to send/pay on something using Bitcoin as it is unwise and more expensive to do so. It will look more of like a investment vehicle rather than a currency in the future.

SegWit is considered an optimization technology that can help Bitcoin scale up. Even though the transaction cost of SegWit technology is half that of a normal transaction, only 12% of Bitcoin transactions take advantage of the technology.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs Ethereum? on: February 02, 2018, 04:29:31 AM
Both are good for long term investments and also NEO are competing those coins. But I rather to choose bitcoin and I really trust them. Wishing that the price of bitcoin will be reached the highest value in the history. As of now the price is in the deep but it will surely pump up again between February and March.

I think Ethernet is suitable for speculation, bits for hedge. One is smart contract engage token, one is virtual gold.
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Biitcoin Gambling Casino Tips on: February 02, 2018, 04:25:26 AM
If you are optimistic about bitcoin, you can add a low leverage to do more long-term. Such as 2 times the leverage, you can double the revenue, but also because the leverage is relatively low, it will not be forced to open when the bitcoin price is temporarily reduced.
13  Economy / Speculation / Re: India just BANNED Bitcoin? Will BTC now crash? on: February 02, 2018, 04:21:44 AM
India has not banned bitcoin. Someone has already said that India should, like China, strictly restrict bitcoin transactions, they do not prohibit people from investing in bitcoin.

India simply does not recognize Bitcoin as the legal tender, but it also acknowledges blockchain technology that encourages payment systems.
14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Bitcoin hit trash attack will happen? on: February 01, 2018, 04:04:50 AM
If someone malicious trash attack, will cause Bitcoin to collapse? Huh
15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is garbage. on: February 01, 2018, 04:04:06 AM
Any cryptos using Blockchains in the future will die out because quantum computers are on the way.  The new cryptos which do not use blockchains are the future.

In terms of the financial sector, as long as the funds flow in flexibility, some people take the plate, even scams, but also for a long time to play the wind and water. There are countless start-up teams who earn a lot of money by selling their designs. In the vast number of digital currency, you can not see clearly what is hidden under the sounding package of monsters. So I can not buckle all the pots to bitcoin.
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: the price of Bitcoin a case of being "Limited Edition" on: February 01, 2018, 03:26:10 AM
If Bitcoin is going to be limited always to 21m coins that will be nowhere near enough to go round to everyone in the world.  Which would mean there will be a few faceless whales at the top controlling everything.  Even worse than the banking system now.  And everything a big secret.  It's all gone wrong somewhere and I've lost my faith in Bitcoin.

The currency is the virtual currency according to the equation is calculated out, and the result is only more than 2000, so the total number of COINS are fixed.
17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin can be taxed, How will that affect the investment? on: February 01, 2018, 03:12:40 AM
The CFTC is involved in the Tether case, so I'm thinking the government will end up taxing them as commodities, which is actually great.  I mean, its going to be almost impossible to enforce taxes if you do business on non USA exchanges but they'll try.

If cryptos are taxed as commodities, theyll be subjected to much lower tax rates than income tax rates.

Encryption monetary income may cause up to 20% - 30% of the tax, but it depends on whether the digital currency can be regarded as a kind of business income or capital income.
18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The relationship between blockchain and P2P on: January 31, 2018, 02:29:26 AM
For a P2P platform, the monthly cash withdrawal fee is also a small expenditure, but the average P2P platform will pay for this part of their own costs. The application of blockchain powerful online trading capabilities, to third-party payments, or bank funds managed to complete the funds quickly, prepared, transparent transactions, P2P platform is a good thing.

P2P technology is the cornerstone of blockchain technology. The blockchain itself is a decentralized system composed of p2p, but also needs to consider the consensus among nodes, that is, how to ensure the data consistency between the nodes without being damaged by malicious nodes.
19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: will people lose intrest? on: January 31, 2018, 02:27:25 AM
I think people will not lose interest because bitcoin is a digital gold that if sold we can benefit from the sale and purchase of bitcoin in addition we can also store bitcoin for the purposes of our lives and our families. Wink

Like people, no one in this world can not turn around. Bitcoin is gone, you will fall back on another.
20  Economy / Economics / Re: Why people says gold is better? on: January 31, 2018, 02:23:39 AM
Actually today I watched a video on facebook which is about spending bitcoin and gold in USA,it says it is difficult to spend bitcoin but some places are accepting bitcoins accepting as payment like supermarket, restaurants and some institutions. But no one accepting gold as payment then why still people says gold is better?

Gold is still better than bitcoin. Because if bitcoin is the father of all cryptocurrency. Then The Real money is the father of bitcoin. And Gold is the father of Real money. Did you get it? I hope you got it. Gold is also can be made as Jewelries unlike bitcoin. Yes, bitcoin can be exchange to cash. But Gold is still better.

Because gold has the function of value and value scale, the total amount of gold is relatively stable, and when there is uneven distribution there will be price increases.
