21  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: March 28, 2023, 04:12:21 PM
Benfica and Napoli are praised by the media, but am I wrong or did Benfica not leave such a great impression at all? Of course the numbers are in favor of Benfica, that they are unbeaten in a group together with PSG and Juventus, that was very good, but the game image is completely different if you compare it to Napoli. I might see Benfica continue against Inter Milan, but against Napoli they seem to me to have no chance actually. And teams such as Bayern Munich and Manchester City are also 2 sizes too big for Benfica. On paper you would say that Manchester City - Napoli will be the final. In any case, a new winner because Napoli has won the uefa cup once in the 88-89 season and manchester City has never won the cup.
Benfica might indeed win the match against Inter Milan later and qualify for the semi-finals. but I'm also not sure Benfica will qualify for the final. what makes Benfica unbeatable at the moment is their defense which is quite extraordinary. if we remember the Benfica vs PSG match we can see that PSG was continuously attacking Benfisa at that time. but the PSG forward struggled even then. and two matches against PSG ended in a draw. so I can't underestimate Benfica. but when compared to Napoli then I think Napoli will indeed be superior.
Benfica and Inter rarely face each other, the last being in 2008, so it is difficult to predict who will qualify for the next round. Possibly Benfica, the only representative from Portugal. Meanwhile, AC Milan and Napoli are both from Italy. But can England leave one club to go to the semi-finals? Maybe Madrid can qualify for the semi-finals, the rest is Man City. Meanwhile, Bayern is one of the representatives from Germany. I think England will fall both.
22  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: March 28, 2023, 03:51:45 PM
There will be some interesting matches to come but the hottest match will be bayern vs dortmund. This will become a very important match caused by it's gonna be the debut of bayern under a new coach thomas tuchel.
Yes, the match between Bayern vs Dortmund is an interesting match to watch. Because this match can also determine the position of the standings. Only 1 point difference between Bayer and Dortmund.

But Bayern must also think about the UCL match which will take place on April 12. Players must play softer to reduce the risk of injury.
23  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: March 27, 2023, 06:42:23 PM
in this match Chelsea will be the host and the percentage of Chelsea wins given by many prediction sites is quite high, reaching 58%, with the young squad currently owned by Chelsea, Chelsea should be able to win more than 2 goals in this match. other news is, conte, who is currently officially separated from Tottenham, seems to be an attractive option to become the next chelsea coach, even though Tottenham has not won any titles but he is a good coach.
A good coach but not getting any titles for his club? That's hard to understand.

Chelsea and Aston Villa have the same number of points. Of course they will try hard to get three points, at least they are close to the top 5 of the standings. But I believe this match will be won by Chelsea with a narrow goal or end in a draw. As many Chelsea players have been injured, this will be the most basic consideration. When many senior players are on the bench, it is difficult for the younger players to beat the opponent's rhythm.
24  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: March 27, 2023, 06:26:37 PM
whatever that is, we have to talk based on data and facts while still being Chelsea coach, tuchel won several matches against man city and that experience is the most important thing for bayern in the champions league this time

I'm sure Bayern will narrowly win against Man City (like when they won against PSG)
Before playing in the champions league, we will see how Thomas Tuchel went about the match against Borussia Dortmund. It's the start of the match he's officiating. Can Thomas Tuchel be in sync with the players? Usually coaches need 2 to 3 matches to understand the character of the players and combine them with their coaching style.
25  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: XRP - yes or no? on: March 27, 2023, 06:04:13 PM
I will stay away from the coin because I think there are many other coins that can provide benefits, when the last bull in 2021 bitcoin and other altcoins made ath, while xrp was not very visible.
At that time the XRP developer was getting a lawsuit from the SEC, so the price movement of XRP during the bull run became stagnant. Even though at that time the price of XRP increased first compared to others, after that it dropped to a low level, and increased again at the end of the bullrun. People don't doubt the price movement during a bullrun, but they doubt the centralized blockchain.
26  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it worth staking stablecoins? on: March 27, 2023, 05:53:07 PM
Actually staking is the same as letting go of your money and trusting other people to manage it, and you get a small portion of that (interest). In general, the loan interest is determined by the lender, while the staking concept of the platform determines the interest on our money.
If we have some money, why are we staking, which we should be able to use to benefit from Bitcoin trading.
It's also not wrong when someone is staking, remembering to avoid financial risks when trading. For me, staking unstable coins is more profitable than staking stable coins.

That can be said about centralized staking. But with decentralized staking, that's another story. You're trusting your funds to the protocol, instead of a third-party. Things can go wrong if the platform is hacked or the stablecoin loses its parity to the US Dollar in an instant. Those are the risks involved with decentralized staking. But I still think it's a better alternative than just saving money in a bank.

With the collapse of major banks across the US, no one is safe these days. It's all a matter of diversifying your investment to reduce the risks of loss as much as possible. Who knows if stablecoins improve to a point where they will become "immune" from real world events? Just my opinion Smiley

I can't understand decentralized staking and centralized staking yet. In general, staking is betting our money on a platform. Do the platforms just ignore the money there and they give us interest? Of course what is given is the advantage they get. Many staking platforms fail because they are unable to pay the promised APY/APR.
It's a different story with hacks or stable coins being strong in the future.
For example, if we are staking with one ETH, we will get 2.7% APR in 120 days or 0.027 ETH. If we trade a 120 day timeframe with 1 ETH, I think we will get more profit than that. From that basis I say trading is better than staking.
27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Circulating supply matters to you? on: March 26, 2023, 06:45:46 PM
What is the fair percentage of a total max supply that are in circulation that can make you invest in a project? It is fine to avoid a project that has low circulating supply? Why? What about if the project is a brand new project and the use case is killing it?
Most people also look at the total supply of the coin before investing. Because it can affect the price increase during a bull. However, the amount of supply that is too low is also less convincing, if the coin price is low. Because it allows someone to hold half of the total coins. I'm more interesting with coins in the hundreds of millions, but I don't like coins with billions. Billions of coins seem like a joke, let alone trillions of coins.
28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how exchanges list news crypto tokens on: March 26, 2023, 06:35:08 PM

i want to know,
how do crypto exchanges list new tokens, what terms and condition or what type of document are needed to list a token .
i really doesn't know anything so may be the written terms may seem off the points
Do you want to list a new token on the exchange? Each exchange determines different terms. This is exactly what it is if you ask the exchange owner directly, or read the terms on the exchange site. But if you use Dex, you don't need all of that, you just need a smart contract...
29  Economy / Economics / Re: How do you survived during covid19 ? on: March 26, 2023, 06:31:40 PM
How did you survived the asshole pandemic disease (covid19)?  Where you sore afraid? How you deassociate with people? How did you get something to eat?
Personally I don't believe in the Covid problem, so the effects of Covid don't really affect my life.
I just follow the interaction restriction rules as best I can. If I think that the limitation does more harm than good, then I prefer to leave it.
Covid is considered the most dangerous disease, but in a short time hundreds of medicinal products were invented. However, there is a disease that is also dangerous and has not found a cure, namely HIV/AIDS, but there are no such restrictions.
30  Economy / Economics / Re: Benefit from Higher Education? on: March 26, 2023, 06:19:49 PM
Statistically, 95% of entrepreneurs have a bachelor's degree or higher and I wonder, for those of you who are involved in entrepreneurship, how useful was higher education for you?
The task of those with higher education is to create jobs, not to compete for jobs provided by someone. So the results of research that 95% of entrepreneurs have a bachelor's degree. However, there are not a few graduates whose work is dependent on other parties. Studies must be able to change the mindset of prospective graduates towards the jobs they will take in the future.

If graduates open a business, of course they already have basic skills both in their business network and in organizational management skills.
31  Economy / Economics / Re: Americans go to Mexico for medicals to cut costs. on: March 26, 2023, 06:08:51 PM
The recent kidnapping of four Americans exposed me to the medical tourism going on in America. I have always thought that the US was a perfect country has very functional health, economic, and political systems. I thought all Americans have access to cheap and quality medical services until I read that over one million Americans go on medical tourism in Mexico yearly.

And the reason why some of them choose Mexico was because of its quality and low cost. These medical tourists are aware that it is risky to do to some parts of Mexico, but they still go there because they want to cut costs.
Is there any other reason why Americans go to Mexico for medical?
America is a large country, if you find people who go to Mexico for treatment, of course we also need to know the location where these residents live. If they live at the border of course it is better to go to Mexico for treatment to reduce costs even if they have to pay passport and visa fees. This is not a quality problem, but it is very influential on the costs they have to spend. Sometimes high quality also cannot reach the ability of the community in general.
32  Economy / Economics / Re: Replacement? on: March 21, 2023, 10:01:10 PM
I have been seeing the progress of cryptocurrency these past few years, and I've been thinking, will it definitely be a replacement for physical money and use crypto as a primary transactions in our everyday life?

Now cryptocurrency has become a means of transaction, even though this has not been officially stated by the government. Many websites provide transaction services through digital currency. In fact, we fellow crypto users have made Bitcoin a transaction tool.
33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin is controlled on: March 21, 2023, 09:48:54 PM
Since most of the major altcoins move up or down at the same time as bitcoin, aren't they all controlled? How does it work?

Cool
Yes, if we monitor market movements, almost all altcoins follow the bitcoin chart. But we also have to monitor the charts of coins that have died on the exchange. If the chart also turns green but there is no change in orders, it means that the chart is only affected by Bitcoin, because there are orders for these coins in the form of BTC.
34  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Doge really go to the moon? on: March 21, 2023, 09:46:27 PM
Since we all know that dogecoin is getting backed by Elon Musk and people also want him to accept payment in dogecoin for his Tesla cars. And since his single tweet can give a boost to the price of dogecoin, what do you think?

Does Elon really take doge to the moon?
I think this is almost a year of running information on Doge, Elon and Tesla. But is it possible for the Tesla company to make Doge a transaction tool in this company? Elon will consider it very carefully. Doges have fluctuating values, while companies will avoid methods like this.
35  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it worth staking stablecoins? on: March 21, 2023, 09:44:38 PM
I have some USDT and USDC in my portfolio that I'd want to stake in a "De-Fi" dApp without worrying about it in a long time. There are liquidity pools in Uniswap with attractive stake rates, but there's also Compound.Finance with its lending services. Both of these platforms are built on the ETH blockchain, so gas fees would be astronomically high. I've read about some platforms being compatible with Polygon (MATIC), but I'd have yet to see if it's worth the shot (especially in terms of security/reliability).

Do you know the safest way to stake stablecoins without breaking the bank? Also, do you think it's worth it? Or should I consider other options? Any suggestions and/or recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Smiley

36  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Favourite MEME COINS? on: March 20, 2023, 05:38:59 PM
I still have Shiba and Vinu, I chose these two coins because they have been listed on many crypto exchanges, for other memecoins I think good, but they not been listed on many exchanges.
trading volume memecoin is my choice for long term investment. (NFA)
VINU from Vita Inu really?
I've been monitoring it on coinmarketcap, and it has good charts. The price drop isn't too bad either. But their platform is still much under development. It's not working optimally. On the swap platform it is only available for two tokens, Vite and Vinu.
Hopefully their platform can develop properly, so that those who invest can benefit.
37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are investors so sceptical about Altcoins? on: March 20, 2023, 05:27:16 PM
I am not an altcoin fan but lately, I have spent some time on the alternative cryptocurrency board and I have seen a lot of topics bordering around whether or not to buy some coins and this makes me wonder why altcoins investors are full of uncertainty and always wanting to know the opinion of others before they invest.

Is there any other reason for this other that the high risk and high volatility of altcoins compared to bitcoin?

Are they asking because they know there are special skills in altcoin analyses or some people are good at picking g g the right coin to invest in?
If we don't need other people's opinions to invest, of course we don't need to be here, because here is only a place to exchange opinions. Meanwhile, investments can only be made on the official exchange or platform that launched the coin. When someone asks it doesn't mean they don't know or don't have their own analysis. But they hope to get additional information both positive and negative. There are hundreds if not thousands of cryptos on the exchange, I'm sure you only saw a few of them, and you must have missed a lot. When you ask questions in this forum, and re-read what they have said one by one, of course you will get an interesting part for you.
there are so many altcoins listed on the exchange and of course it is difficult for us to analyze them one by one, but we can choose altcoin investments at the top at coinmarketcap, among them there are many altcoins that have been around for a long time and still exist today, and have healthy movements , in the sense of keeping abreast of the movement of bitcoin as the mother of all coins. let's just take the example of eth, bnb, matic, all three besides being safe to invest, will most likely provide better profits
Of course there's nothing wrong with what you're doing. You choose to invest in Altcoins that have clear potential for the future without wanting to take risks with other altcoins. I think it's the most appropriate method if we are hesitant to partake on unpopular altcoins.
38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Again Financial Giants Dive into the Crypto Space: Visa, Mastercard, and America on: March 20, 2023, 05:11:03 PM
The current development of crypto is unavoidable for all financial platforms. Then the solution is that financial platforms must follow crypto steps. Either by developing their own blockchain, or following the currently available blockchain. Rejecting crypto is the same as rejecting technological developments. Of course this can not be done by anyone. Crypto will be one of the last solutions for financial transactions. Financial companies will abandon all current transactions and switch to crypto.
39  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: March 20, 2023, 04:57:35 PM
Despite Madrid difficult form, Chelsea doesn't stand a chance of winning unless football does it wonders.
Estimates between Real Madrid vs Chelsea, most cast doubt on Chelsea's ability. Of course this prediction will reverse if Chelsea faces other clubs in the UCL. This requires extra work to be able to win the competition. Real Madrid knocked Liverpool out in the last 16, of course this is a consideration when facing Chelsea who are also from the Premier League.

Yes. An interesting match will be Bayern vs Manchester City, both of which are the strongest clubs in the league this season still in the UCL. It is very difficult to predict who will advance to the next round.
40  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: March 17, 2023, 08:30:58 PM
Manchester City/Bayern Munich
There might be a surprise this season in the UCL, namely Manchester City. Many predict that the UCL will fall into the hands of Manchester City this season. But how can you cross it out. Yes, of course dealing with Bayern Munich is not something easy for Manchester City. Even Bayern Munich has knocked PSG out of the UCL.
