i was trying to mine neoscrypt with rx570's . But after running smoothly for 10 minutes, My pc crashes and auto restarts. My overclock settings are ok. 1250/2050. It run smoothly with other miners. But when i try to mine with this miner, It crashes after 10 min, no matter what algorithm i am using. same result everytime. I am using blockchain driver and windows 10.
1250 is high, mate. Do 1150/2150 or 1200/2150 I am using blockchain driver
Please use Adrenalin. just a notice, if you have a vega only rig you need to stick to blockchain. for example a 8 vega rig you loose around 500hs/card -4khs/rig with adrenaline on cryptonight u right. Vega stick with blockchain driver Aug23. No hope. |

Ok, so i reset my bios, changed all appropriate PCI settings to Gen2, enabled 4g, re-installed windows 10, ran all updates, disabled update service after that, plopped all 6 sapphire pulse rx 570's into PCI slots 1,2,3,4,5, and 7...then installed radeon crypto drivers and STILL ONLY SEE 5 CARDS.
Anyone got a flamethrower?
Set bios to default and just do 2 things: 1. PCIe Speed to Gen 2 (Advanced -> PCH Configuration -> PCI Express Configuration -> PCIe Speed) 2. Enable 4G You're going to see 6 GPUs in Devide Manager. If not, your riser has problem  Exactly. U must see 6 gpus on Device Manager, otherwise ur riser sucks |

Keep an eye when rig mining, touch the cable after 5 minutes, if it hot, turn off ur rig immediately. It may cause explosive

Just got my aftermarket vega 56 and it's using hynix memory.
can i still flash it to the manufacturer's vega 64 bios from reference cards? (samsung)
or which vega 64 bios can i flash to?
I'm having the same issue. I purchased a vega 56 red devil which has Hynix memory. I can't find any vega 64 bios with Hynix memory at all, they all have Samsung. Might have to stick with samsung only unless they start making Vega 64s with Hynix later on. Microcenter near me has EVGA SuperNOVA 850 Watt 80 Plus Platinum Modular ATX Power Supplys for $164.99.
Would two of these be ok instead of a 1300w or 1600w Platinum? Any pros/cons to using 2 separate PSUs?

Using 2 PSU good too, the problem is PCIE cable. Each vega need 2 x 8 pins, and I don't know how many PCIE that PSU supplied. As I see on web https://www.evga.com/products/product.aspx?pn=220-g2-0850-xrPCIE Cable 2x 700mm, 850mm (m) 2x 700mm (m) (I think they got 5) so you need to buy 1 more cable for each PSU. ^ Extractly, 1 Vega need 2 x 8 pins ! Don't have enough cable. And the cable don't sale individual... |
