It's not XMR_Cast false. My rigs got virus mining ETH.... It show chinese app and using Claymore 9.7 to mining. F*** this shit.

I tried everything to get this miner to work on my rig with 5x AMD RX580, but it refuses to find any shares. The only thing I see is: [19:02:30] Connected to pool. [19:02:30] New Job received (CryptoNight). [19:02:30] Difficulty changed. Now: 60000. [19:02:34] GPU3 | 46°C | Fan 0 RPM | 6240.7 H/s [19:02:34] GPU0 | 45°C | Fan 0 RPM | 6171.9 H/s [19:02:34] GPU2 | 49°C | Fan 0 RPM | 6175.0 H/s [19:02:34] GPU1 | 49°C | Fan 0 RPM | 6327.4 H/s [19:02:34] GPU4 | 44°C | Fan 0 RPM | 6079.6 H/s [19:02:38] GPU3 | 47°C | Fan 0 RPM | 6490.3 H/s [19:02:38] GPU2 | 50°C | Fan 0 RPM | 6543.8 H/s [19:02:38] GPU0 | 46°C | Fan 0 RPM | 6509.7 H/s [19:02:38] GPU1 | 49°C | Fan 0 RPM | 6543.8 H/s [19:02:38] GPU4 | 45°C | Fan 0 RPM | 6493.6 H/s [19:02:42] GPU2 | 51°C | Fan 0 RPM | 6540.6 H/s [19:02:45] GPU3 | 48°C | Fan 0 RPM | 6490.3 H/s [19:02:45] GPU0 | 48°C | Fan 0 RPM | 6516.2 H/s [19:02:45] GPU1 | 51°C | Fan 0 RPM | 6540.6 H/s [19:02:45] GPU4 | 46°C | Fan 0 RPM | 6490.3 H/s [19:02:46] GPU0 | 48°C | Fan 0 RPM | 6500.0 H/s [19:02:46] GPU2 | 51°C | Fan 0 RPM | 6464.7 H/s [19:02:46] GPU1 | 51°C | Fan 0 RPM | 6527.5 H/s [19:02:46] GPU3 | 49°C | Fan 0 RPM | 6487.1 H/s [19:02:46] GPU4 | 46°C | Fan 0 RPM | 6458.4 H/s [19:02:50] GPU1 | 51°C | Fan 0 RPM | 6542.2 H/s [19:02:50] GPU0 | 49°C | Fan 0 RPM | 6512.9 H/s [19:02:50] GPU2 | 52°C | Fan 0 RPM | 6509.7 H/s [19:02:50] GPU3 | 49°C | Fan 0 RPM | 6491.9 H/s [19:02:50] GPU4 | 47°C | Fan 0 RPM | 6490.3 H/s
And after two minutes my rig reboots.
Fan 0 rpm ? It is probably the problem. This is my run.bat: cast_xmr-vega -I 0 --opencl 1 --algo=-2 -S sumo.pandapool.nl:5555 -u Sumooxxx.60000 -p x -R -G 0,1,2,3,4 I can't find anything wrong with it. algo 2, not -2.

Dok,
I am having an unusual problem. One of my win 10 rigs with 4 Vega56s had to have win10 reinstalled due to OS software screwup, so I thought I'd try your software without AMD Blockchain drivers using win10-64bit-radeon-software-adrenalin-edition-18.3.4-march23 drivers.
No matter what I do your miner will only hash on GPU 0 and 3, GPU 1 and 2 do not hash, they are recognized, but no hashing, I have tried very low intensity, but with no effect.
Any ideas?
Get back to Aug23. Me can't do shit in 18.3.4 either. Even disable/enable vega by my hand in device manger still making crash. No idea why.

1350 h/s vega 56 ref
1100mhz/1407
XMR Cast 0.9.6
AUG23 Driver
Try couple of hours improve i realize even same 56 ref, same brand, has different quality. Some can't even past 1407, some can do 1452. And rig crash after xx minutes. Driver 18.3.4 crash a lot, idk why, win 1709. Go back Aug23 Change XMRCast 1.0 and add --maxmem --forcecompute make litte more hashrate. Me 4 Vega56 4 GPUs rig >>> 635W (Using kill-a-watt) so it may @140-145w per GPU, 1385h/s

Hi, Cast XMR version 1.0 is available. Now CryptoNight Lite variants are supported. Lite coins like Aeon, IPBC and Turtle. With the Lite algo higher hash rates can be achieved as it only uses an 1 MB scratchpad. Following hash rates should be reachable. RX Vega 56/64: 4250 Lite Hashes/sRX 470/570/480/580: 1600 Lite Hashes/sUse the --memset option to squeeze some extra hashes. It was enabled by default in the 0.9.7 version, now it is default disabled. It is probably only recommendable if a hash rate monitor is used to reset the GPU if an hash rate is drop is detected. Btw. from my observations the 18.3.4 drivers seem more resilient against hash rate drops then the legacy blockchain beta drivers. Regards, Glph3k Cast XMR Version 1.0.0 (2018/4/24)- Support for Aeon (AEON) CryptoNight Lite variant set --algo=3 to mine - Support for Turtlecoin (TRTL) CryptoNightV7 Lite variant set --algo=4 to mine - Support for Interplanetary Broadcast Coin (IPBC) CryptoNight Lite IPBC variation set --algo=5 to mine - Up to 3% performance improvement with new option --maxmem to allocate the maximum memory of the card. For Vega cards the "HBCC Memory Segment" has to be disabled in the Radeon Settings to use the option. Disadvantage is a higher risk of hash rate drops when the --maxmem option is used. Gandalph3000, Thanks for the miner! My Vega64 with blockchain driver and hbcc off on 1100MHz memory clock shows 1890-1920 h/s on cryptonight v7. Only at the very start I can see 2000+ h/s, after 1-2 minutes speed drops. Still this miner is faster than claymore's 11.3 which shows 1800-1830 (stable, without dropping the speed). Hope next version of cast xmr for vega will be stable 2000+ h/s. CryptonightHeavy = 1000-1050 h/s.
CryptonightHeavy me 1350h/s . I thought mine was low....

We love ur tool and don't want to switch any other tool. Need update for IPBC and TRTL algo

|
|

with what switch can i mine turtlecoin now that it forked ?
No, wait new version

sir... support haven and stellite pliss
Hi, stelllite is support just use the option "--algo=1" to enforce CryptoNightV7, that is what they switched to. Looking into CryptoNight Heavy for SUMO and Haven. But as stated earlier it will probably result in a new app. The changes from CryptoNight to Heavy are to hefty to be implemented efficient in one kernel. So stay tuned. Regards, glph3k Thank for reply and update !!!! Any change for Cryptonight-UltraHeavy

Is this miner can increase the hashrate of 480/580 and 570 series of AMD? how about controlling the fan and set it in a good timing?
Good hashrate (but i think 99% optimize for VEGA series) Can't controlling fan Can't set good timining

Hi, will BAIKAL N support Cryptonight V7 algo?
Cheers W_M
No one know. But N will mining some new "XMR" coin created by Bitman From XMR now we have XMR, XMV, XMC, XMO, XMZ...

Yo guys and Girls i have a question Is it possible for me to mine cryptonigght heavy with cast xmr and send it to exchange with payment id config ? If yes please send me the right config like this format xmrig-amd -a cryptonight-heavy -o stratum+tcp://mine.sumo.fairpool.xyz:5555 -u <YOUR_SUMO_ADDRESS>.<PAYMENT_ID>+<WORKER_NAME> -p x -k But please do it for cast XMR miner if it supports that. Tnx a lot
i think Cast_XMR still don't update Cryptonight-Heavy (correct if i wrong), just V7 things. We need to wait.

Added a Road Map of present and future goals so as to clarify scheduling of developments direct access to page here: https://vegatoken.org/tell-me-moreBecause of the intentional non advertisement of the VGA Project visitors to the site are limited to (I assume) readers of this thread Take advantage NOW, I cant see any VEGA owner being able to resist VGA membership at ITO and QMS release (well maybe the trolls here out of spite) after which the supply demand rule will determine Token Price pg13 post256 for instructions -------------------------------------------------- FYI i sent a damning message to AMD yesterday condeming them for their lack of interest in their core customer base (being miners) by refusing to devote resources for servicing our needs, i seriously doubt there will be a response but hey maybe you never know gamers buy 1 GPU miners buy multiple GPUs are they that friggin stupid or are our suspisions correct in their product lifecycle game play? hey, make a real product or what else u can call "a software, a driver, a tool" and comeback here showing what you doing. If u don;t have anything and force anyone to buy sh*t coin, u just a scammer.
