141  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Terms and condition a must read before signing up any online gambling site on: July 19, 2021, 06:29:50 PM
It's the way to go because many of the times these gambling sites protect themselves with terms and conditions, while the players themselves just hate to read them and only act surprised when these terms are quoted to us and try to play victim when some rules are broken.

Is it correct and proof to say our reading culture is getting worse by the day?
142  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Daytrading vs Holding on: July 19, 2021, 03:12:51 PM
If am to compare Daytrading and Holding in terms of risk and rewards involved,  Daytrading has a component of high risk and high reward while Hodlers take the low risk and low reward which many of us see as the undesirable and long route.

Holding is the best strategy for those who don't want to trade or can't trade.
Besides not knowing  how to trade or not wanting to trade, holding could also be considered less stressful and a safer option as you don't need to be looking at charts regularly or required to have the technical knowledge on how to go about it.
143  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Elon tweet again that he is supporting Crypto against Fiat on: July 19, 2021, 02:50:57 PM
Elon Musk has damaged the crypto market several times by the actions he has taken through his twitter account. I feel sorry for those who have suffered so much loss as a result of Elon Musk's actions.
After the crash of crypto happened because of his careless tweets I have put him in my ignore list, I wonder why he hasn't kept his opinions about crypto to himself but chosen to share these thoughts to the world.
If he has something to say, why doesn't  he give opinions about Tesla or space x so that people know what his up to and give feedback about what they think about these projects.

I recommend to friends on this forum not to believe what Elon Musk said.

144  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why green bitcoin mining has become a trend? on: July 18, 2021, 10:30:29 PM
Because Elon brought it out to the attention of world and it reactive which showed how serous the matter is and for the best interests of mother earth, going green is the only way for a sustainable environment.
Once cryptocurrency mining is all green, big money will start flowing back in  and if this is trending then it's good to see miners are going this direction.
145  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin, Dogecoin Gain After Musk's Tweets, But Will There Be Another Bull Run? on: July 18, 2021, 02:32:33 PM
Dogecoin, which started as a meme currency but received a lot of support from the billionaire tycoon in the past few months also gained in value. But this positive trend in the cryptocurrency market is no guarantee that it will see the bull run, which started at the beginning of this year, again so soon. At most, the value addition to the price of Bitcoin and other digital currencies over the past two days most likely seems temporary.

What are your thoughts about these 2 coins' future and is it possible that Musk will decide to the hype on something else also?
Elon is a business man and if he believes that a project has some potential he will invest then hype but  unfortunately he usually talks about btc and doge, but lately bitcoin seems to have fallen out of his favorites.
Btw i don't see him jumping  for another project anytime soon neither am I writing it out as the cryptocurrency market has a large pool Of coins which could change his interests anytime.

Green coins are getting more popular. Why doesn't he mention any of them? Which one do you think needs such a kick?
Green coins  Huh Not familiar with them will look into them, and btw had Elon tweeted about them like he always does, I would have known about them.

The raffle ticket holders have been drawn and here are 15 names of winners who managed to get $5,000, who is at number 10 is lucky enough to only have 334 tickets but can be included in the list of the winners, this is pure of luck.

I think everyone that has less than a thousand raffle tickets must count themselves lucky for this draw because competition was heated ,with others with more tickets not winning!

Indeed it's  a game of chance and anyone can win.

Congrats to all winners

149  Other / Off-topic / Re: How do you handle stress? on: July 07, 2021, 06:19:03 PM
For me I try to get myself calm and try doing something that will put my mind off it as I believe it's all in the mindset.

The best way to get relief from the Stress, would be to watch your favorite movie and do stop trading while you are in stress.
This remedy could be used by us younger people ,I think for the older generation this can be ineffective.

Riddle #9

Paul has used a software wallet for his crypto for almost two years. Although he has never had any issues with it, he has learned that using a hardware wallet is much safer. So he took advantage of a Black Friday deal and purchased a brand-new hardware wallet with a discount.

Once the product was shipped to him, he started the setup process for his new hardware device. When the installation wizard asked him whether he wants to create a new wallet or restore an existing one from seed, he chose to restore from seed.

He entered the seed of his multi-coin software wallet, which he has kept written down on a piece of paper in his new hardware device. Within a few minutes, all his portfolio and crypto balance became visible to him on screen.

Paul is happy to have increased the security of his assets and that they are now safe thanks to his new hardware wallet.

But are they really?
Did Paul make any mistakes in the setup process, and is there something he should have done differently?

Help Paul to figure out the correct steps.
Paul bought the hardware wallet with the intention of better security, but the power of better security from the hardware wallet isn't utilized because his portfolio is still connected to the software wallet which means if he loses his seed phrase written down on a piece of paper, then access  to his coins is also lost.

The best he  should have done imo is create a totally new wallet on the hardware wallet and sent the coins from software wallet to this hardware wallet without forgetting to backup the hardware wallets seed or private key.

153  Economy / Services / Re: 1xbit.com honest review campaign (open) on: June 26, 2021, 10:59:09 AM
My review of 1xbit , I tried the website on my phone and it ran smoothly so did it on my desktop.

Some notable positives from my experience, as a platform serving as a casino without country restrictions like most you have an option to change language to one of the supported languages which are Chinese, English, French, German, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Turkish and many more which is a good thing.

When it comes to funding your account, i like that they have maintained a system of whichever crypto you deposit remains your balance unlike other casinos which apply fiat conversions which is a disadvantage on my side should price soar. The other good thing i like about 1xbit is the number of promotions they have available on the platform which is open to all. The other biggest selling point these guys have is the large pool of sports events which is incomparable to any sportsbook out there by far and they support esports too .

Some things most gamblers might overlook are features like cashouts ,live chats with support, betting in anonymity and many more and all this is available on 1xbit

155  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: A member LIST .. What do we speculate the price will be this summer JOIN IN on: May 19, 2021, 09:49:15 AM
$44041

My reasoning is price can't continue going down, it has to uturn somewhere, and currently seems to have found some support maybe Elon will tweet something good about bitcoin and we can get bullish once more, come on Elon you can do this.
156  Economy / Gambling / Re: Cloudbet | Bitcoin Casino & Sportsbook | The No.1 Bitcoin Gambling Site on: April 07, 2021, 09:45:34 AM
Not sure if this has been asked before but was wondering why we only have two crypto coins with not so high transaction fees i.e bitcoin and bitcoin cash yet we have ethereum and five other erc20 tokens on the platform which have very high transaction fees regardless of amount, any chance we shall see coins with low transaction fees like doge, tron, ltc, dash etc?

Out of DOGE, DASH and LTC, which one do you want to see added first?
In this order I don't mind , but any of the three will also be a great addition to cloudbet!

1st LTC
2nd DOGE
3rd DASH

158  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you like Volatility? Debate on: April 04, 2021, 05:53:34 PM
Having seen people trade news via fundamental trading which is a volatile time and has shown traders to come out profitable at these times, I can say volatility is very good for trading!

You don't want markets which look like they are on holiday waiting for markets to open, trade when markets are volatile they always pay both sellers and buyers!!
159  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🏆 Blockchain Casino Awards (2021) | The Best Crypto Casinos 🏆 on: April 04, 2021, 05:21:13 PM
I have seen your criteria of scoring/grading the casinos and sportsbooks but did you consider having the community give names of sites they gamble on to make this more competitive because all I saw was fortunejack, 1xbit, cloudbet, stake and a few others I have seen here on bitcointalk!

BTW Didn't see duelbits or roobet anywhere on the list, did they fail to make the cut? AFAIK these would give any crypto casino a run for their money!
160  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Risks of instituations holding bitcoin on: April 04, 2021, 02:21:02 PM
The thing that comes to my mind with institutional investors having a big share of the bitcoin pie is control! Bitcoin being unregulated it's very easy for these guys to manipulate the markets to push out retail traders, if not that they can choose to dump their coins and crash the markets....but that's one side of the coin.

On the other side we could see these guys make the crypto markets less volatile as they would dump less, but whatever we do we need some institutional presence.
