442  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers needs to control their emotion! on: June 13, 2019, 12:28:28 PM
I was surfing for some old news articles. In that time, I have came across one news article.

Australian died after his 13 hours gambling with nothing in his hands last.

Check here. https://www.stuff.co.nz/world/australia/105184715/gary-went-on-a-13hour-gambling-binge-he-died-with-nothing-left

Really sad, please do not get upset in gambling investment. Simple, take it as easy game not worthy than your life...

OMG! His addiction make him died. He’s too addicted that his wife left him because of his selfishness. It is too that when you are not contented on something it will be taken to you sooner or later. Gambling will make you hope but will never meet it, you always have your expectations but it will be done because gambling was not for you all the time few times you will win but many times you will lose.
443  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Instead of Gambling Invest in the BANKROLL on: June 13, 2019, 12:12:56 PM
I know people in this subection are probably going to be against this sort of rhetoric, though I know that most people here are avid gamblers. Which is fine, though there is a problem that arises when you gamble all the time -- you're not going to be making any money, and all you're doing is losing.

Wouldn't you much rather invest in the bankroll of a gambling website, so you'd be able to make some money off of people like you?

I do understand that there is risk in giving other people access to your BTC (or whatever coin you choose) though that same risk is present when you gamble and put coins on the platform.

Well in that case some people may preferred gambling although investing is good but some people wants more be entertained in gambling since it can make people emotional it will be happy or it will going to be sad when they but the thing is atleast they want to gamble to have fun while investing is risky like gambling but not that to worky, I mean you can enjoy it every single. That was only my opinion.

446  Economy / Economics / Re: What’s the SINGLE most valuable benefit for you in Bitcoin and why? on: June 12, 2019, 03:20:10 PM
The most valuable benefit of bitcoin for me is that, bitcoin is a source of income and it helps me sustain or fond my everyday needs and wants. What I earn from bitcoin is big compared to my other source of income.
447  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will be legally accepted in every country in the next 10 years? on: June 12, 2019, 03:16:20 PM
I don`t think so, Bitcoin is tax free and if it will gonna be accepted or become legal in every country, then surely it will get taxed which contradicts it`s decentralization. Though there will always be positive and negative effect of legalizing bitcoin in every country, but surely government will control it.
448  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How 18-year old boy became Millionare from Bitcoin on: June 12, 2019, 03:13:36 PM
I am talking about Eric Finman.

An inspiring story that is worth to read.

This is just a summarized of his journey.

Eric Finman is just a typical 16 year old student who is bright and creative. He has smart two brothers and he is the youngest. He is into latest technologies. When his brother introduced digital currencies (bitcoin) at 2013 who his brother brought 50 bitcoins. He decided to compete his brother by buying hundreds of bitcoin worth $1,000 in which his grandmother's  gave.

His brother Ross gave him a book by Ohanian ( a co-founder of Reddit), which indicates the power of internet and which got Eric's attention and interests. He is eager to meet him but there is $8,500 fee which made his parents think it was too much. With his eagerness he founds out and discovered that the bitcoin reached $1,200 and he sold his bitcoin to $100,000.

Finally, he met Ohanian. It amazed him how matured enough Eric when it comes to technology. One time, as a freelancer, he make a Flappy Bird knockoff  game and Ohanian is an eye opener for Eric's eagerness to use internet as a source of income.

He produce his own programmers, etc. And made his own company.

I just thought Mark Zuckerberg is the youngest millionare. Now, it is Eric Finman.

Here is my favorite line from my idol,

Quote from: Eric Finman
"I say if you do not become a millionaire in the next 10 years, then it’s your own fault."

He is now 18 years old. Despite of being disppointment in terms of education, he is now a successful and the youngest millionare by bitcoin and by his innovations and by being creative.

Wow, I`m 21 and barely can pay my monthly bills and other basic needs. I think Erik is awesome and really brilliant for his age. I hope I could be a millionaire soon and not gonna grow old having nothing. I hope bitcoin will make me a millionaire too someday.

451  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: More Bitcoin commercials coming!!! on: June 12, 2019, 02:38:57 PM
Bitcoin having commercials is really good and helpful and will attract many potential investors which could be the start for bitcoin to get back to it`s track again, it will also remove the doubt of many people who is saying bitcoin is not legit. I hope there is Bitcoin commercial too in our country.

453  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is blockchain gambling business beneficial? on: June 12, 2019, 02:10:39 PM
Any Gambling business, when done correctly is beneficial whether it is done on Blockchain or not. Is Blockchain changing the gambling industry? that should be your question. Yes, it is earlier gaming results, winnings and payout were intentionally hidden or were partly concealed from the public. The integration of Blockchain into the Gambling industry will resolve these concerns and many other problems that the online gambling community has been facing.
Thats true, it will be beneficial if its done correctly even though online or not. Well when in comes in business gambling business was one of the beneficial business with few losses since there are a lot of gamblers or addicted on it, this will be the best pick if you will build one. Crypto gambling was very popular and you can see a big progress which you can say it was very beneficial to the owner and players.
454  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Want to quit? Here's how on: June 12, 2019, 01:12:42 PM
Quitting is easy if you want to achieve something, but never easy if you want to stop doing what you always do and what you always wanted to do. This is what you called addiction, and we all know that its really hard to over come. Is this the end? Is there any cure? Let me help you.

1.) if you really want to quit, you should WANT it. You should be serious about it and not play around. Most people failed to change because they didnt take quitting seriously.

2.) Have a stone hard mindset. Picture yourself to the person you want to be. The old person who doesnt need that things in order to be happy. Always think about the future results you will become.

3.) Be faithful on what you are doing. Cheating is not an option. Dont be fooled on peer pressure or the callings of slot machine. Learn how to have self dicipline. Focus on your goal and have a blindfold if needed.

4.) If you already strengthen your inner self, the next steps is already easy for you. You see, yourself is the best enemy you have and we should start changing you by the way you think. Next is, have other things to do that can make you busy. Start trading or having new business. You will soon realize that the essense of the money you lost in gambling.

5.) never to try it again. People are also malleable in nature and even you didnt do it for years, once you tasted it again, you will turn back to the same addict person you want to get rid of. We have a deep caravings for it psychologically or what you called cravings by our subconscious minds that once triggered, can never be stopped.

Lastly, give me merits if this tips help you. Nah. Just kidding. I just want to write a book someday and i need some inspiration. Gambling is fun though.
Very well said, I just wanted to add something "If you really want to quit gambling, entertain your self on other thing" you can do it with your family bonding, go shopping or do vacations. Entertain your self to where you are far to think about gambling. Yeah I really agree to #3 Be Faithful on what you are doing. Cheating is not an option  Grin. Haha Nice one Smiley
455  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can i start a game here in the forum? on: June 11, 2019, 01:32:15 PM
As stated in the title, is it possible to run a game here in forum?
Here is the idea, let's take the example of Noona and Mismar (they are my turtles), if i can publish a live video (in youtube for example) of the tortules competing in a course for many times and offer bets for users here in a live thread by the help of one of the known escrows here, as we see in auctions or ruffles. (is this against forum rules?)
This may look dumb for many of you because i don't take it seriously so i can't explain it well.
I want to know if this is possible here in btc forum or not. And if anyone can suggest more ideas on how to realize this.

Sorry for the bad english.

I guess it is allowed if you can share link from your live game and also the escrow should be a reliable personality in this forum.

I think the same thing about the escrow because that will be important if the escrow agents can hold the money so we can feel safety and the money can be sent to the winner. I still curious how it looks like and I think other members have the same things, they want to watch the competition, and maybe many people will place the bets.
Yeah most importantly was the escrow. It is really possible but they need to have an escrow for players assurance since people are more reliable of having a proof that hving a good words. In money matters especially games you need to satisfy your clients with your legitimacy for them to have more interest in your game.
456  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Royal ramble in the casino on: June 11, 2019, 01:25:26 PM
Gambling can influence anyone and it can also trigger trouble to a greedy player.

I’m quietly playing on the side of the casino when I heard someone was shouting to another player, I’m shock because it happened on casinos so as expected everyone was panicking and most of the players leaves the table. I’m a kind of person that want’s to know every stories, so i ask the other player on that table and he said, the guy was loss everything that’s why he was mad.

Now I conclude that he’s so addict on gambling to become emotional like that, that was my unexpected experience on the casinos. I’m trying to look for a news about this but I think, its not open for the public as casinos are more private as much as possible. Have you experience this one also? Is it normal to have a scene like this?
Well in my own opinion and experience I seen a moment like this before but the guys was drunk and he loss everything after that it's like he wants to kill the winner and make a bad scene in that moment. So it was me who are already frightened so I didn't get to look at everything they did. Well, if you are really addicted on gambling and you loss all your money even if your not drunk you will feel it too very frustrated but not all are like him who can make a scene some are going to cry in there houses.
457  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling vs. "leveraged" trading on: June 11, 2019, 01:21:21 PM
I think was all that are happening in life of a person is like gambling it's very risky. Yeah trading is like gambling you can win and you can lose. It needs  patience do not do it at once play one at a time you don't need to rush everything you can do it according to what your skills can since we are also relying at luck something we need to be careful still.
458  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin has no practical use and could be damaging to the economy! on: June 08, 2019, 04:18:47 PM
Tell that to people who already have their life changed for good because of bitcoin. There are many rumors, false accusations, and opinions of what bitcoin is or what effects it could give to the society but as long as many people are benefiting from it, then who cares?
459  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is for scammers, yea right! on: June 08, 2019, 04:13:13 PM
People who think that Bitcoin is scam or for scammers either don`t know what bitcoin really is or have been broke because of putting their money on bitcoin and hated bitcoin because of it. It`s really easy to say it is fake or scam if you don`t know the thing or you hate the thing. After all, many people are benefiting from bitcoin and other`s opinion does not matter.
460  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin believers/investors are foolish or low IQ people ? on: June 08, 2019, 04:08:41 PM
Putting your money on any type of business or investments is risky, bitcoin is risky as well and not different from any other business. People are lost money because of putting money on bitcoin and some other put their money on bitcoin and earn big amount of money. What I`m trying to say is that anywhere you put your money if you want to earn profit, there is always risk. So, how can you say people who put their money on Bitcoin is low IQ or foolish?
