361  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Interesting Case: Sell Bitcoins, Bank Account Blocked on: October 25, 2017, 09:45:56 AM
Almost all exchanges which allow you to withdraw Fiat to a Bank account require for authorization to submit their applications. It seems to me that it makes no sense for the Bank to freeze your admission in order to know the origin of the money. Yet at the same time to pay £ 100 compensation. Are you sure that this story is true?
362  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Proof of Foolishness on: October 25, 2017, 09:35:23 AM
I watched the news man sold all his possessions, even the house and invested the money in bitcoins. That is the case. Everyone thinks that bitcoin will rise in price always but I think this is a big mistake. In the pursuit of money, people lose and you can stay and live on the street. It seems to me that all you need to know the measure. If you have to have income to return the money invested and continue to earn income.
363  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mine bitcoin through game? on: October 25, 2017, 09:30:44 AM
I do not believe that during the game you can earn any significant amount of bitcoins. During hashing the computer has booted up completely and you will not be able to play. If you can play it for production use only spare capacity. This is very small. Now stand even with the GPU can't provide a decent yield.
364  Economy / Economics / Re: What would be the possible impact of BTC in the economy of a country? on: October 25, 2017, 09:12:55 AM
Ofcourse it will make an economy healthy but it depends on how a government will adapt bitcoin. As I see now, those democratic government implements bitcoin with minimal requirements needed to their investors while those authoritarian form of government is having a hard time fixing the regulations and rules to be implemented. To summarized, bitcoin is simply a technology and it depends on how people and government use it will determine its effect to the economy.

Governments do not want to change anything. They think that everything should remain as it is. Their main task is to control the income of citizens with the aim of subjecting them to yourself. Bitcoin makes people independent of the government. They can earn income outside the state. Independent people are difficult to control. This is the main reason why government against bitcoin. But in fairness I will say that the bitcoin will not help the economy.
365  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Gold is Forking Off on: October 25, 2017, 08:34:08 AM
I can not wait for bitcoin gold, will it be better than bitcoin cash or BCC? but I'm sure bitcoin is the main choice although it will appear bitcoin gold.
Bitcoin Gold is clearly trash from their "Secret" Lead developer along with the mining of BTG coins. That is pure BS. They just want to Pump the coin and dump their pre mines, with that they can be rich and scam the BTG investors. Be aware.

I think the purpose of hardfork is not just to split but to update new softwares. Or even throw some old blocks that was mined. And it's too early to judge btg gold if it is scam or not. Miners and devs have risked things for the hardfork. It is not just easy to announce it as scam. It is in each user to face the risk in acquiring btg. Im sure most are already if its scam or not. And for me it is good to have invested btg gold in a wallet if i can acquire free btg. Scam or not its my fault.
I'm always surprised when people say that the project is Scam even before the project came to light. It is not correct. Any project has a chance to develop, or he may die. Constantly appear and disappear new coins. They all scams? No. Perhaps the developers did something wrong and did not receive support. Many people think that bitcoin is also a Scam. No one knows their future. I wish good luck to all.
366  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: If I sell my bitcoins do I have to pay vat on them ? on: October 24, 2017, 07:08:42 PM
VAT is usually paid when you buy things isnt it? I mean its an indirect tax and its incorporated into the price...  Tongue

You are right, well if you sold your bitcoin on some exchanges you will not pay any taxes all you have to settle is the fee that the exchanges have. Bitcoin is decentralized and i think there is no tax applicable on it maybe aside from the fees.
You are not right. As soon as the user will get Fiat on your Bank card it will be income and hence the government will have a claim if you do not pay for it with taxes. Of course VAT to pay on income not need. It is a tax on producers which they passed on to the buyer. In some countries, the government does not control small income to the account so maybe you do not have to pay anything.
367  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you secure your bitcoins? on: October 24, 2017, 06:57:33 PM
Now there are new viruses that do not crack passwords. Was a virus Petya today I read that there is a new virus Bad Rabit. They encrypt your data and for decoding extort money. It makes a risky way of storing your coins offline on the computer. It seems to me that the safest way is e-wallets. Only we must not forget about their own safety.
368  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining ETN on: October 24, 2017, 06:31:40 PM
It seems to me that if you have the desire you can start with any amount. What's stopping you to buy 2 GPU and try to dig. There is now a bitcoin gold which will be produced too, with the help of the GPU. Perhaps in the future there will be other coins. In any case, it's an investment. With the money you can increase the number of the GPU. The main thing to start.
369  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 19GPUs working in Windows (confirmed) on: October 24, 2017, 06:25:08 PM
I don't understand why such complexity. First, it is expensive. Secondly problems with the software. Thirdly, and this is in my opinion the most important thing this setup in case of failure will bring the owner great lost profit. 19 the GPU is 3 racks. If the problem will be with one the two others are profitable. You don't store all coins in one wallet.
370  Economy / Economics / Re: What would be the possible impact of BTC in the economy of a country? on: October 23, 2017, 05:10:26 PM
there is no assurance to what could it really be the bad impact about bitcoin in the economy, but it quiet obvious to what will be tye biggest positive impact on bitcoin to economy, the only thing that matters is that there is not much guranteed if it will really happen or what, just depend on the situation i might say.
I disagree with you. Bitcoin weakens any economy. For example the fact that bitcoin deflates the economy, the money can not be useful. All businesses evolve at the expense of loans. Where banks take the Fiat if you hold bitcoins is much more profitable than to keep a Deposit in a Bank? To take out a loan in bitcoins is the ruin for any business.
371  Economy / Speculation / Re: What are the Chances of a Crypto Winter? on: October 23, 2017, 04:48:32 PM
another guy who is comparing charts from 2013 with actual ones doesnt make any sense anymore, this has already been asked a lot of times in here and it always gets the same replies.
There are probably no chances to see it happening again because the market is now acting different, everybody wants to hold and i dont think that 70% of those who are holding are going to dump their coins at the same time. A lot of people are newbies in here, and they dont want to lose their investment, and less those big whales..

Even if the 70% you speak of wants at the same time to drain their coins, they won't do it. A stuffing coins will trigger a panic and falling prices. Why would someone sell their cheap coins? They will stop selling and wait for prices to rise. I think the price is too high to fall but jumps can be large.
372  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price Lingers Below $6k As Post-Fork Altcoin Rally Expected on: October 23, 2017, 04:39:30 PM
I think people are getting far too lazy and comfortable banking on things to always happen the way they expect. Just when you're lulled into complacency, something pops along to smash it to pieces.
True.  Seems pretty dumb that earlier this year BTC was at 85% market dominance and yet people are somehow convinced that this couldn't happen again just because the trend has been pro-alts over the last few months.

Especially since there wasn't that much to justify the rise in the first place.

It also depends whether you consider forks to be altcoins or just different versions.  In BTG's case it will certainly be an altcoin, but SegWit2x will attempt to call itself "Bitcoin", so it'll be a little more subjective.
It seems to me that SegWit2x it's not bitcoin in cash or gold. This can be a significant factor which will pull the price of bitcoin at the bottom. It seems to me that in November we will see a significant setback. Maybe the price will go even lower than $ 4,500. If the background of these lower prices will create a panic then we may see an even greater fall.
373  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Real estate backed cryptocurrency on: October 23, 2017, 04:28:48 PM
I do not believe that these projects will be implemented. If OP meant the acquisition of real estate it will be very difficult to sell the cryptocurrency for transactions and to prove the lawful origin of these funds. If OP was referring to paying with cryptocurrency for rent that is already there but very little demand. Do not forget that only 1% of the population knows what bitcoin is. What altcoins knows even less people.
374  Economy / Economics / Re: BlackRock Chief: Bitcoin is a Bubble on: October 22, 2017, 05:22:38 PM
It seems to me that such experts do not understand that the price of bitcoin only shows people's attitude to the dollar. Every year more and more people understand that we live in a bubble and the bubble dollar. The Americans spread it around the world and hoping that people will never be on the dollar to get rid of. Bitcoin is only an indicator of how devalued the dollar.
375  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin $250000 by 2020 if the seven year trend continues on: October 22, 2017, 05:07:09 PM
Of course it won't keep rising exponentially forever. But what I don't get, is how many of you deem $250.000 to be impossible. That would only equal a market cap of roughly $4.6 trillion; gold sits at $8.2 trillion, all stock markets $66.8 trillion.

If someone told you it was going to be worth $6000 when it was at $0.05, wouldn't that have sounded equally "impossible"? $250.000 by 2020 is very possible once mass adoption happens and the big guys (wall street, major banks, etc) enter the market.

The big guys know how to make only Fiat. Due to the fact that the current financial system is completely controlled by the rich. Governments always act in their best interests. agree easier to play cards if you know of an opponent. When they make predictions about cryptocurrency I don't trust them. Bitcoin lives his life and no one can predict his behavior in the future.
376  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Lost Opportunity on: October 22, 2017, 04:56:59 PM
I think it's silly to regret not having done something in the past. Without errors in the past, you will not be able to confidently live in the present. Man is so constituted that only learns from their mistakes. If we follow your logic, then now is not the time to sell because next year bitcoin will be worth $ 10,000. Next year also can not etc. Why then do we need bitcoin? I always sell bitcoin in order to enjoy life today. Why me a million if I can't spend it.
377  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-10-20] RUSSIA INTENDS TO DOMINATE FINANCE AND THE CRYPTOCURRENCY WORLD BY on: October 22, 2017, 04:46:55 PM
In Russia is always a lot of ideas but never these ideas are not pursued to completion. To produce equipment to mine coins you need to have production chips. In Russian there is no such technology and never will. If they try to create criptural it would be worthless and will not have prices. Russia is not a country that can dominate the crypto market.
378  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Regulation in Russia on: October 22, 2017, 04:38:04 PM
All the discussions on this topic on the regulation of the crypto currency in Russia are based either on rumors or on the statements of certain officials of this state. Moreover, they are quite contradictory even to President Putin, and sometimes they are simply twisted by the mass media. I think that it will take some time to wait and see what laws and other by-laws are adopted with respect to the crypto currency, and then draw conclusions.
After you put before the fact will be too late to do anything. In democratic countries, before making the law which affects the interests of many people going on long discussions with the experts and society. In Russia it is not and never will be. I don't live in Russia but I am sure that nothing good Putin did not come up.
379  Economy / Economics / Re: Vanuatu, world’s first county to accept bitcoin for its citizenship program on: October 21, 2017, 11:44:06 AM
Lol. 200000 dollars to obtain citizenship of the island nation. I don't know what idiot will pay this amount. I think this advertising campaign in order to let people know about the existence of Vanuatu. Easier this amount to invest in business in America and obtain the right of permanent residence in this country. But the fact that Bitcoin lately does not leave the line of the news is good.
380  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This is how my 7 bitcoins at coinbase got hacked on: October 21, 2017, 11:33:10 AM
The more of our lives digital technology the more we become vulnerable. I often hear that Android was hacked. Probably there are problems with the security devices which use the Android OS. I heard that during the war in Ukraine via Android Ukrainians figured their location, and Russians used these coordinates to fire. Why hackers can't get around so 2 factor authentication?
