I have half-a-dozen bitcoin.* domains (from the gTLDs that started showing up in 2014).

bitcoin.social
bitcoin.pictures
bitcoin.fail
bitcoin.haus
bitcoin.black
bitcoin.ink

(bits.ink also)

UPDATE:
Nevermind. I'm going to hold onto these, and I'll probably do something with at least one of them. Good day.

Thanks for reading,

What with them being gTLDs, I would really doubt that you can get $1,000+ for them. If you can, I really doubt that you can do it here.

You have some good keyword domains, but the actual suffix makes no sense in relation to it in most cases. I expect that would really lower the value.

Good luck on selling anyway, not trying to discourage you.

Bitcoin.social makes some sense and could be worth something, although definitely not more than $1k in my opinion.
.pictures and .ink could work for very specific markets. Could be worth something for the right buyer, could be difficult to sell.

OP, what are your market ideas for the other ones?

bitcoin.social could be for a community / forum / chat / etc.

bitcoin.pictures could be for a site where people sell their naughty pics for bitcoin ("i will dress up in this or that and do whatever you  want, just tell me and i'll give you a dozen pics for X bitcoin!").

bitcoin.fail could be sold to Visa or Mastercard for shits and giggles. Or maybe some sort of website that ties "fail pictures" to bitcoin.

bitcoin.haus is a german word for house, but it's kind of cool anyway.. could be like a virtual representation for a bitcoin "spot" or "place".

bitcoin.black could be used for some sort of mysterious/luxurious site, some sort of bitcoin rewards program - or well, it's just a cool domain. bitcoin.black goes with everything. Bitcoin is the new black.

bitcoin.ink is something I am thinking of using to make a site where people submit articles / headlines / etc. in exchange for bitcoin. I also own bits.ink for this purpose... or could just be a good domain for a blog, ink relating to written words... could also be a place to resell written works and such, who knows.

OR, if you are into SEO and Bitcoin, these are great domains for pulling bitcoin-related traffic and getting your SEO rankings up. GRANTED you actually have to know how to do SEO. I myself have taken niche words and currently have #1 / #2 results on Google for my former businesses, I just don't have a bitcoin website generating enough profit to actually use these for SEO. Throw these on some c-level IPs and create a few different basic SEO-optimized websites with your bitcoin keywords helping push up your main site and you'd be in business. Again, you'd have to know what you're doing with SEO to really just use these for such a purpose.

But yeah, those are a few examples.

+1 Common sense must still be applied. Just because it's bitcoin.keyword, doesn't mean it's even worth the registration fee; especially wIth the uncertainty that your gTLD operator will even still be in business in 1-2 years.

I'm fairly certain that if any of the new gTLDs left the market, they would merge them somewhere else - they wouldn't just say "oops, sorry i guess we are getting rid of .fail now!".

Anyway, they are still good domains, I'm perfectly fine with keeping them for a few years - if no one offers I'll eventually start using them for my own purpose.

If anyone has a low blow offer, feel free to PM me, I would at least like to see the other side of the fence and see what people are comfortable paying. Smiley
