Title kinda says it all but i have just downloaded Armory on my computer and it seems "stuck" in offline mode

Have you also installed Bitcoin Core? Have you downloaded the blockchain?

I have Bitcoin core installed and i have the blockchain. I was using the bitcoin core wallet prior to this

have you pointed armory to the path of the bitcoin-core installation?
