I prefer Bitrated over EscrowMyBits since the former one has multi-signature contracts facility and can easily be processed. I don't know whether the latter one had implemented that feature but I would advice that, its better use forum escrow providers than EscrowMyBits.

According to the domain name its seo rich and found on 1st page and almost first result if we search for bitcoin escrow
I don't know much about this website but so far we haven't seen any positive reviews about this website. So I wouldn't recommend this escrow service

And if you search domain name along with bitcointalk on Google then you can find that you are the only one person who have ever posted about this website here

But if you do search on bitcointalk then you will be able to find a lot of threads related to this
And I also found their announcement thread which is opened by a quite trusted legendary member : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=786235.0

But its still not recommend to use external escrow rather than Bitcointalk
Good luck  Smiley

You'd be willing to hand over coins to a company you've never heard of before found via google? That doesn't sound like a recipe for a happy ending. Escrowing is a pretty risky business at the best of times but at least if you find one on here you've got the option of scrutinising every past transaction and getting some background.

Try to find someone better from our bitcoin forum. As the bitcoin forum escrows are experienced and good enough to support your trading.
They are highly active with various trading strategies than us.

Use bitrate? Or you can try to use escrow.com, but i don't know if it can be used for bitcoin. Try around with small amounts of money first, before trusting escrowmybits.com

It's better to use the bitcointalk based escrow then a website you have never heard from.

Hey guys,

I recently purchased a domain name transfer and I used escrowmybits.com.

I experienced some problems accessing the site initially. This did make me a little nervous I'd lose the seller's agreement to take bitcoin (I had to twist his arm a bit to agree to accept payment in bitcoin). But anyway, I can't say for sure what/who was to blame for the accessibility problem and the staff were generally attentive during the time they/I had access problems and tried to figure out what the problem was.

Apart from that, the actual escrow went very smoothly, so I would recommend 'escrowmybits.com' .

Also note that there is only a need for personal escrow involvement on the part of escrowmybits.com in the case of a dispute, as I understand. So most often, the dispute resolution, itself, isn't vouched-for, as in this case. But again.... if you write a clear, easy-to-interpret contract, you at least give yourself the best chance of avoiding a dispute and - if there is one - of resolving it amicably.

Hello,

Yes, we apologize about the downtime. We had some issues with our service and cloudflare which caused some users to be randomly blocked or simply never have the website load. All those issues are now resolved.

If you have any questions about using escrowmybits feel free to simply shoot me a PM.
