It is the first time i heard there is a bitcoin generator. bitcoin is not a game, it's money, so you can't expect earn it easily.

Ive recently discovered bitcoin generators that supposedly "Generate bitcoins" at the click of a button.I got curious and was wondering if anyone actually successfully used a bitcoin generator

As long there are naive people, there will be crypto scammers. Magic coins, generated as soon as you press a button? WTF?

There are still some people who still fall into these kind of scams. Idk how the hell are they even victimized by it but it seems that gullible and naive people, mixed up with some experienced yet greedy people often end up biting the bait of these type of scams.

The only way to create new Bitcoin is to mine them with mining program. There's no thing such as 'generator' which will produce new Bitcoin. I once fall for a trap like this. I'm lucky that I did not download. Else, I wont be here as a Bitcoiner.

I wouldn't be so sure about that. Even Satoshi himself once said that that he is creating something like bitcoin generator. So it is not pure fiction. Original quote from Satoshi:

June 18, 2010: I planned on creating a free bitcoin generator. When it gets too hard for mortals to generate 50BTC, new users could get some coins to play with right away.

While it is true that 99.9% of bitcoin generators right now are purely scams and malware but there is possibility of creating one that really works.

If Satoshi created such thing bitcoin generator. Any one can generate bitcoin from the thin air. Then mining becomes meaningless. He will destroy bitcoin completely.

I'm pretty sure he was talking about a faucet. Back in the day even Gavin operated a faucet that gave out much more than the scrap BTC you get from today's faucets.

Well back in the day you could make tons of BTC with faucets, but back in the day BTC was literally worthless, it's not like Gavin was a good Samaritan giving free money out there.
