This is not some pseudoeconomic post-modern Libertarian cult, it's an un-led, crowd-sourced mega startup organized around mutual self-interest where problems, whether of the theoretical or purely practical variety, are treated as temporary and, ultimately, solvable.
Censorship of e-gold was easy. Censorship of Bitcoin will be… entertaining.

FBI denies hack but leaked info proves up

Hackers refuse any interviews unless Gawker puts a picture of Editor Adrian Chen wearing a tutu with a shoe on his head on its front page.

Chen obliges

Truth is, in fact, funnier than fiction.

ok so there are ~350 million iOS devices sold.  it is known that the agency had 12 million.  given that, i would assume that they have all of them, or at least the capability to obtain them if desired.

what's important is not that they may or may not have your device ID - but that if you own one of these devices you are making yourself vulnerable to them

if you are concerned about these topics - do not own or operate these products.
