This should be a serious discussion focusing on the events that actually affected the price and are still affecting it.

Why price hikes were happened? Just pumps? No, then what? Got recognized because price went high?

Many questions will arise, including that why the prices have been stable these days and no volatility is being seen.

Why the prices are surging downside significantly? (Not a bearsider, just want to know reasons behind the same).

Worst case scenario, Bitcoin gets as low as Dogecoin (which seems to be the altcoin of least worth) is nowadays. I like saying that bitcoin is already doing better than some government-backed currencies. Even Dogecoin is doing better than the Indonesian rupia! Hear me now, quote me later. Bitcoin price will not go below $170, and it will not go above $350 during 2015. At least not for a day or two.

why you hate bitcoin so much, you are one of those that bought at 1200+, and now regret it, or you want to drive the price down to buy cheap?

because besides those reasons i can't see other to justify throwing shit at bitcoin...

sad for you but bitcoin will remain stable for now, no crash is incoming.

Bitcoin has been surpassed by several superior altcoins a long time ago. Developers are refusing to adapt bitcoin with new important features and important scaleability adjustments. It's pretty much ancient technology by now.
The only thing keeping the price up is the bagholders trying to trick everyone into buying their worthless bags.
I said it many times,  the concept is great but with a rotten community and no development it's destined to fail.

Some altcoins have new features lacking in Bitcoin but I don't think any of them are good enough to surpass Bitcoin's first mover advantage. Bitcoin has continued functioning for years, whereas the new altcoins have only been running for a fraction of that time and have yet to prove they don't contain serious bugs by running for 5 or 6 years.
